Hello Sarah and Luke, Besides the practical tips for buying a property in Portugal, everyone needs to remember that they will be living in a foreign country. Everyone else will be speaking Portuguese so......to live there it's incumbent that you learn it as well. From what I've heard, the Portuguese government has set up Portuguese classes in many of the small villages and towns. While living there people have to make the transition to becoming Portuguese nationals, right? Então, boa sorte, mesmo.

You can never be sure of that unfortunately but the Portuguese are very welcoming ❤️❤️ When you know the place you are going to buy . You could go around and meet your neighbours . Go and visit it at different times of the day before making up your mind .
