Haha! I had the same problem with a ruin I had bought some years ago. There were eleven ways of accessing the lane I was on and if the farmers changed from corn to sunflowers, I would keep speeding by and making u-turns. I eventually got the hang of it 🤣
You need to go to the camera building and check the Bupi . This will let you know where is your property located by using the artigo # . They will let you know the location by its coordinates.
Admittedly I wasn't going crazy, found out later the pin on google was about 1/2 a mile off, which is quite a distance travelling on those country lanes

once he has showed you the land, and the contract is signed, the agent has no other obligation. immigrants should first find a "solicitador" (solicitor) to review the legal aspects of the contract and accompany you. they are cheaper than lawyers and enough for a land purchase. in case of trouble, the solicitor himself, or the realtor, is subject to portuguese law and you are protected! i'm sorry you had to go through this, it shouldn't happen. good luck.
I have a solicitor for the paperwork but it was just an unfortunate google error, agent is a really nice guy and had no problem meeting on my next visit to take me back, and show me a different route in.
Hmm, I like watching channels with people who go on adventures like building a farm from abandoned land. In this case, the excitement may not be in how the farm will turn out in the end, but whether it exists at all! Does the farm exist? Will he find the farm? If he finds the farm, will he ever dare to leave the farm to get the necessary supplies? I feel I have to be daring, I take the risk that this will not be a series about a man who wanders for years in the Portuguese wilderness among wild boars and wolves in search of his farm, but that he actually finds it, and that I and others can be inspired and educated by the process. I hereby subscribe ...until further notice
I usually have a very good sense of direction, but I found 5 properties in the same area that looked like they suited my needs before I left the UK. I met with the agent and went with him in his car, zig zagging back and forth around those country lanes for hours looking at them. When I decided on the one I wanted he sent me a pin on google maps, but it was off by about 1/2 a mile as the crow flies (probably 3 miles by dirt track lol). I only had the rest of that day before driving 500km back to the airport and I knew the agent was rushing off to another appointment so I didn't want to call him. Got him to take me back on my next trip and carefully noted its position and drove in and out several times to learn all the routes back. What can others learn from this experience? Put your own pins on the map!
I parked the car in the village, and with most of the area being flat you can see the tops of the higher buildings in the village from just about anywhere in the area.
I'm thinking of 50-60 days at a time with maybe an extra week here and there just to check on things but I'll eventually try and work towards a visa when I retire.
On that visit I was driving a rental Nissan Juke and didn't want to risk losing my deposit on those walls, found wider lanes afterwards but at the start it was a very narrow lane. next trip I hired a fait panda just to be safe
It WAS google maps, I think it does just sometimes not place the pin where you put it. I had a similar problem with finding a hotel I booked on booking com, the pin showed the hotel on the map but google navigation took me 5 or 6 miles past the hotel, and refused to redirect until I removed the pin and placed a new one.

good job grandad does it👍
I would have check the land registry online, even before buying it. Although even the UK still has a lot of land not digitally mapped.
Hope you will find your car again!
Good luck! 😊

I pray you bought a farm that exists and that you find it as soon as possible. I pray you didn't get scammed. In Jesus' name. Amen.😊😊❤😊

Good idea to leave the car behind ........... 🙄
You should have asked for coordinates, lat & long. At least got some healthy exercise in a beautiful environment!
Very beautiful - flying out again in 3 days just for a week to have a break and enjoy the scenery
Where in the world is your car? How are you going to get back?
