I'm surprised to not see Vilitch's staff in here. He can become pretty much unkillable along with units around him as long as he's casting, and has access to dirt cheap pink flames. Unless they patched it.
From the items mentioned here Manfred should be on Number 1.
I definitely miss the Sword of Teclis here. It can replenish winds without the need to be in melee. Gives a nice 20% missile resistance and most importantly a WoM cost reduction of 3 for Chain Lightining.
This item single handedly makes Teclis one of the best casters in the game imho.

Sword of Slaanesh is an amazing weapon but this list is for gear associated with Legendary Lords.
@@zgamer45 in immortal empires it’s limited to Azazel, and who cares about ROC
@@antonisowa4501 Azazel's Legendary Weapon is Daemonblade. Sword of Slaanesh can still be put on generic lords.
I don't know it Kemmler's sword should be 1. The ability is really good but requiring him to be in melee to use it can be dangerous for a necromancer. His cloak makes it much safer, but is no guarantee.

Congrats there are racial unique generics, ok that sounds really weird but let me break it down, also these are examples, there are far more, High elves can get a special weapon that jacks up their reload time, Lizardman get a stegadon spear which enhances stegadon mounts, warriors of chaos do get god specific items like a slaanesh sword or something, they are rare.
id disagree with the blood drinker simply cause vlad already has the hunger and the spells to heal, and while i agree that the sword of khaine isnt really a legendary weapon the sword of slaanesh is and so is imo the chainsword, likewise theres that rare dagger from cathays caravans thats pretty darn strong
