A couple corrections:
-Sisters of twilight only gives replenishment rate to the lord, not the army
-Drazhoath's trait is WAY better than Gresus's for basically every faction
Notable omissions:
-Fay enchantress for 10% replenishment rate
-Thorek Ironbrow for +3 AP damage to the whole army
-Balthazar Gelt for +6 armor to the whole army
-Zhao Ming for +5 armor to the whole army
-Miao Ying for +3 melee defense to the whole army
-Kairos Fateweaver for 15% spell resistance to the whole army and +5 magic reserve capacity
-Skarbrand for +5 charge bonus and +8% weapon strength to the whole army
-Tyrion for melee attack +2 to the whole army and +1 recruit rank
-Gor Rok for +4 leadership to the whole army and expert charge defense
-Tiktaq'to for +10% campaign movement range
-Daniel the demon prince for -50% attrition
5 armour? Does that really make a difference?
@@olekjaer86 For units with little or no armor like zombies, yes
Greasus has the upside of being applied even on non active characters while drazoath only gives you the bonus while the lord is on the map.
@@olafthemoose9413 True but settlement income makes like 10x more than trade does for most factions. It’s worth having them on the map especially with the 15% missile resist
@@joshmartlingweirdly extra armour makes more of a difference for high armour units, I haven’t got the time to show the maths but a reduction of damage taken from 30 points to 28 points is negligible but a reduction from 6 points to 4 is 1/3 which is huge.

You've misunderstood the Sisters of Twilight trait, It doesn't affect the army, it only affects the lord.

@@cupiksensei353 Care to give a timeframe? because it isn't in the Sisters of Twilight section, in fact, he says at roughly @8:26 "Your armies are just going to be super healthy pretty much after every battle" which implies it affects the army which it doesn't.

Where is Wurrzag, Sigvald, Tik tac toe, Nakai, Zhatan, Allariel, Fay Enchantress, and Thorgrim degeat traits literally the best ones and not even mentioned
It's another hate baiting top 10 I think, literally missing the actual top 10...
Wurrzag and Sigvald for 10% physical resistance (Archaon for 5%), Krok Gar and Nakai for +10 Melee Defense (Vilitch +5), Throgg and Kholek for Anti-Large (+15, +20).
How are none of these in your top 10, but Greasus's one is N°1?
Also Markus Wolfhart for 10% missile resistance and +5% missile strenght for the army. I guess those are very focused on improving your lords, but still, they're great.
yeah also helbron, darkblade and irohide for AP damage, also elsbeth for explosive ranged units
More artillery range +15% from Zhatan the Black.
I think Skarsnik has not exactly the best defeat trait but one of the funniest ones. That bonus 30% ambush chance is very cool.
Extra ambush success is pretty big, and for the factions that need it that 20% defense is HUGE! Skarsnik may not be Top10, but certainly 15-20
Erm boosting trade tarrifs doesnt do very much, even if you are making 10k from trading resources.
Your thinking of simply boosting trade, which the trait does not do, what it does do is increase tariffs (which is roughly 70 to 90 gold per trade route). So getting greasus trait increases gold per trade route by roughly....9g...
The trait is good on certain factions like chaos dwarfs, as they can min-max certain provinces to be a pure gold field especially combined with certain traits and ancillaries. Combine those with the fact that they dont have supply lines and now you're cooking.

Thats totally not how trade tarrifs work. +10% for trade tariffs does not mean +10% for ally our trading. If I remember correctly, trade tarrifs are like a seperate "resource" just like dye and hide and such. And they dont make you really that much money, i think like in the two digits. So greasus' trait is actually really not worth it to be on this list, because you are probably if you trade with everyone on the map still only get like 100 gold extra from trade tariffs.
So trade comes in two parts. There's tarrifs and there's trade resources. Tarrifs work off a flat rate (that you can increase with buildings and technology) and are based on how many trade partners you have. Simply put, the more trade partners, the more tarrifs, the more money you make. Tarrifs aren't worth much at baseline though and might not be worth the potential diplomatic penalties of trading with a particular faction.
Then there's trade resources like Iron, Marble, Trinkets etc. These work based on production and at any time you can open your trade tab (located inside your finance tab at the top of your page) to see how many of each resource you're producing per turn. You make money off of exporting these at a rate that varies depending on the value of the resource. If you produce too much of one thing that you can't export all of it per turn then you need more trading partners.
So Trade basically comes down to: more trade treaties = more tarrifs, more markets to export = more money. More trade resources = more exports = more money.
The more territory each trade partner has the more they seem to be able to buy from you. You also get a bonus rate on tarrifs I believe if you have been trading with a faction for a lot of turns.

Personally for me Belakor does not beat the sneakiest git for his legendary defeat trait. 20% sneak defense is fine but 20% ambush success is good everywhere and downright broken for some factions like the Skaven or Wood Elves with masterful ambush stance. I always try and get Skarsnik.
Anyone ever see Isabella as not a Hero ? Only ever gets the trait if she is a Lord and not a hero, right?
Yeah, you only get the defeat trait if she's the enemy lord. In Warhammer 3, it's very unlikely you'll see her as a lord. I think she becomes a lord if Sylvania is wiped out and then revived as an end game crisis, but I've not seen it myself.
I think the Sisters only give the Lord themselves 20% extra replenishment. They do stress that in the info
It's a pity that Nurgle spawns so far from Sylvania, because adding regen to a Great Unclean One lord makes them borderline unkillable.
Don’t forgot kroq gar giving +10 meele defense
Fay and Sigvald for even more Regen of troops and a MASSIVE Ward Save.

The SoT replenishment looks like it's only for the lord themselves, does it affect the whole army?
You are correct, it's lord only
That has to be a tooltip bug. Or are there any other effects that only effect the lord's own replenishment?
@@Kekkening If the tool tip says for the Lord, it only applies to themselves. There are a few, I think the blue line has it for some factions. They can be poorly worded.
Basically all factions have this skull icon ability in the blue line that gives 30% more replenishment to the Lord ONLY. So it's a very common thing technically.@@kodiakjak1

+3 AP damage both missile and melee, for the army. That just quadrupled skavenslave slingers or any trash tier ranged inf damage, and just added a good bit to all others.
Is Isabella's trait even possible to get anymore? Haven't played Vamp Counts or faced against them in a hot minute, but doesn't the AI default to Vlad, which makes Isabella a hero, not a lord?
I'd say Draz is better than Greasus has settlement building income is far more valuable and reliable than trade income.
in my Kholek Campaign, one of my lords killed him, took his trait, and i have like seven or eight Dark Fortresses with some pretty high tier economy buildings.
i have enough gold i could feasibly pump out two or three entirely new armies stacked with the Vassal Gift and that one slaaneshi gift, and i don't even have every Dark Hold yet.

Video came out too early to be April Fool's, I watched it too late to initially think it might be. The worst part is a couple of these ARE great, but most of them are just bad. HOW did TikTakTo not make this list!??!? Fey Enchantress!????

If you are obsessed with casualty replenishment why not go after Fay Enchantress?
The sisters of Twilight? It is only good when you obtain it via a range lord like Alith Anar or Oxyotl or Markus Wulfheart, not anyone else
And Honestly, speaking of the best traits and not mentioning Tiktaqto, Nakai, Kroqgar, Wurrzag, Sigvald, Kholek, Throt, or Throgg is a crime?

I think this Video had a lot more potential because I think its hard to compare the traits when they take effect at different parts of the game.
So imho you should have splitted this into 3 lists. One focussing on improving your general, one for armies and one for the campaign map.
Yo Vlad's -4 wound recover is worth a mention
Technically... yes... but you're not supposed to have your lords wounded any way, especially not your Legendary ones... so it has something of a clutch... As in it's useful only if you're playing badly...
It's really funny if you're playing as Morghur. Being able to re-recruit him the turn he is wounded is pretty broken.

I'm not very good at all, honestly. I play easy/easy, I don't deserve any accolade there XD. And even on that difficulty, I did lose my lords sometimes. That's why I said "technically". So I do agree that it's a very good skill to have, it's just not "optimal" as optimally you're not supposed to get your lords wounded. And I think this may be one of the reason Colonel didn't include it in this list. It's not a skill that DIRECTLY makes your faction or your lord stronger. It's a very good tool against something that you "shouldn't" let happen, so "technically" it's a crutch.
But I completely understand your point, and I fairly agree with it. It's indeed a skill I'm always pretty glad to get. @@pawly91

I just found a mod that gave Vlad both his own and Bella's trait, it is a bit of cheating but singleplayer game!

If I attack with multiple armies does every lord I use get the trait ?
I think it’s just the one that initiated the attack or was attacked that gets the trait. But I could be wrong.
