- Here's a full run of Space Colony ARK Act 1 (and Radical Highway too!) from the Tokyo Game Show 2024's Samsung SSD Japan Gaming Booth Livestream Showcase for Sonic X Shadow Generations. I cut specifically the Space Colony ARK Act 1.
The gameplay demo was taken from the Playstation 5 build.

We Getting Out of the ARK with this one!
The only thing I miss are the sa2 mechanics when you go to the ramp in high speed you jump and do air tricks
Glad we're getting levels that last longer than a minute
people keep reposting this stage and they'll get dem views cuz it's a brilliant opening stage
after watching the first episodes of dark beginning and from the line he said at the start of the stage, this level is probably before time eater appeared and him going into white space
Never noticed it before, but this game does not appear to have a lives system!

I don't know if its becuase I'm already used to the life system, but I don't like the idea of not having lives
It doesn't even show "TRY AGAIN" when dying, though.
@@megabeynic2659 a lot others platformers already don't have(or it's optional) lives systems, for example crash 4 cuz this game hard on some lvls
It has it’s moments. But overall, I a still not impressed with this games level design
I wish the level was more colorful and vibrant like in SA2. Here, it kind of looks dull and really desaturated.

@@ShowtimeLaw it kind of does. It looks something out of an old Sonic World map kind of.
Well the bad resolution of the video isn't doing it any justice, realistic environments really need good resolution for the colors to pop.
but yeah, it's definitely more black and grayish compared to the orignal's more blue and purple look. the big pillars in the background also have those new high tech looking green lights that weren't in the original. in general, shadow gens changes all the returning environments somewhat. like sunset heights and kingdom valley having different weather effects, and radical highway being completely different
Some people said the game looks better when you're playing it on the tv screen.
