The power creep is real. Shadow took down a boss that required Super Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Then again, the base game had Sonic take down Chaos without going Super, so...
Shadow’s feat is more impressive though since it took Team Super Sonic, Team Rose, Team Chaotix, and Team Dark to win. Sonic’s was just Adventure Super Sonic.

It’s alright. Visually it’s Great but Mechanically your basically Swiping into Boxes the whole fight, would’ve been cool if they included some on feet sections where you platform through the ruins and try to reach Metal.
That would be the same as perfect Chaos bossfight in base generations, is better that way because we use the new mechanics and in a bossfight which is awesome!

You're just flinging junk into the boss to whittle down it's HP.

This fight needs to be harder imo, the mechanics are neat but each one doesn’t take too much thought to do. It be better if when side stepping the line of missile, some of the red missiles were also in that same line, forcing you to put some distance in your side step to not run into the red missiles. They can even combine some of the mechanics, the tail swipe needs you to time when to jump, so also have missiles fire at you to change up your timing too.
Yeah, and a lot of the time Metal's just floating in the air staring at you as you kick barrels at it and not actually doing anything. It needs to be way more active - for one they should remove the stage hazards and have them be attacks from Metal. Those saws you need to dodge about a minute in should be lasers or missiles, for example.
It’s the second boss not the final one but idk looks really fun besides there’s a bunch of tricks you can do to kill him faster having a boss that’s hard to kill isn’t as good as a boss that’s hard to kill quickly imo

Depending on which point in time this Shadow is (Gens or current) it isn't too surprising since Sonic beat Chaos in base too during Gens unlike in SA where he needed to go super.

Pretty….disappointing in my opinion. There’s a lot more cool stuff you can do against this boss but the battle isn’t long or hard enough to necessitate any of it.
The cool stuff you can pull off here does make it necessary to beat the boss faster it looks. This gameplay, which was actually pretty alright, almost took him 4 minutes to beat. That's a pretty lengthy boss time, longer than most of OG Gens' bosses, and the stuff you can pull off here could get it closer to the 3 minute mark. The only thing I'll say that I agree with is the fact that the boss looks quite easy sadly, but I kinda expected it seeing as most Sonic bosses generally aren't hard to begin with, especially in Generations
Well it is a final boss being downgraded to a lower/ side boss, so it's to be expected, especially with the smaller development time At least he is in the game 😊

Depending on which point in time this Shadow is (Gens or current) it isn't too surprising since Sonic beat Chaos in base too during Gens unlike in SA where he needed to go super.

Pretty….disappointing in my opinion. There’s a lot more cool stuff you can do against this boss but the battle isn’t long or hard enough to necessitate any of it.
The cool stuff you can pull off here does make it necessary to beat the boss faster it looks. This gameplay, which was actually pretty alright, almost took him 4 minutes to beat. That's a pretty lengthy boss time, longer than most of OG Gens' bosses, and the stuff you can pull off here could get it closer to the 3 minute mark. The only thing I'll say that I agree with is the fact that the boss looks quite easy sadly, but I kinda expected it seeing as most Sonic bosses generally aren't hard to begin with, especially in Generations
Well it is a final boss being downgraded to a lower/ side boss, so it's to be expected, especially with the smaller development time

No funny shit, the fact shadow is able to beat metal overloard without his ultimate form and without friends I insane to me. Like the fact sonic needed everyone to weaken him, to then he his ultimate form along side with his friends and even then it was still a challenge for him. Broooo shadow is a beast in this game. 💯💯
