supercars these days are for rich people that like to show off their money. most supercars of today have automatic gearboxes in them aswell, which makes it even less fun. this stratos is a true man's car.

mind you the Dino was not built at ferrari but by fiat in milan hence no ferrari emblem on the bonnet just the word Dino
Yep, and you know why ? Cause Enzo would'nt hear about a Ferrari without a V12. Stubburn Commendatore ! Same as using disc brakes !
Only since the last few years, snobby Ferrari owners and some clubs would recognize the Dinos as genuine Ferraris and accept them in clubs. "Good Lord, a V6 engine! No leather !"

It’s a shame that lancia has now been reduced to making rebadged Chrysler’s. Especially considering what they used to make, delta for example.

Stellantis have stated (somewhere) that they are going to develop Lancia again as one of their premium brands so who knows, maybe a Stratos is in the pipeline?

Modern day supercars couldn't touch the Lancia for the amount of happiness it could bring you on a sunny day on British back roads. Pull up in the pub carpark in a new supercar & you could be seen as a bit of a wanker but in the Lancia you are a hero, a legend, a magnet for middle to old age men... Yeah girls dont get the Stratos sadly.
When I saw the video at Lancia Stratos, childhood memories came back. The delicious car and the sound wow. One dreamed like a little in the 70's to have such a Lancia.

Miklas Krys the CGT sounds incredible (one of the best sounding cars ever and in that category I would also put the CLK GTR, Zondas and the LFA but they dont sounds so soulfull like italian cars (that Lancia, Disco Volante, 8C...)

RAC Rally Kielder Forest in Northumberland 1975 and it was worth spending hours waiting for Sandro Munari coming through the forest with the echoes of the Ferrari engine in the Stratosphere reverberating the air and my mind. My only dream car!!
