He is! He has made Microsoft sexy again with the surface lineup. You almost forget about the crappy Azure and the schizophrenic operating system that is Windows 10 (three different shells, really?)
He’s like Steve Jobs was on stage, so it’s great to see salesman with personalities like this, get you excited, sadly it’s something Apple lost when Jobs died although Craig does a decent job and has a sense of humour.
This is the phone of my dreams! I was heartbroken last year when this device was leaked then was told it was just a rumor. I know what I’m getting for Christmas 2020!

@@slow_bike_show I'm glad to hear that! I recently upgraded from a Pixel 3a to a 6a, and only had to pay $178 by trading in my 3a. I could get a Duo 1 and swap back and forth between it and the 6a (depending on what I'm doing that day) and still have spent less than if I bought a medium tier Samsung or Apple. 😀
Let's hope they pull it off. The hardware seems to be going well, I wonder how the software's faring. Definitely cool on the outside but inside, it looks like 2 ipad mini screens. I won't put it on a table tho in fear of scratching that glass outer casing. It's too wide as a phone though. They need to address that as well.
Hopefully all the windows apps will work with this device like publisher and hopefully Microsoft will have a desktop mode for this device too like Samsung dex has for their galaxy device I would love to see that feature for surface duo and of course a USB c port maybe four on each side I hope third party developers will really help make this device amazing too

I just ordered one of these as it was quite cheap I know it’s been out for a while and there are way better phones out but I thought it would come in handy for multitasking

You know what's gonna outsell this device so much? If it had something like samsung dex but it's capable of running windows app such as microsoft word for pc (android version sucks, not even 50% functionality compared to the pc version, and currently what's holding me back from making the most out of my samsung s10e). I really hope this happens

If I had to guess they want you to use the camera on the inside of the device. Not sure how I feel about that. Makes more sense for the design of the "phone" I guess. Imagine taking a picture with the device open lol, that could be a bit awkward. The way the camera is placed it would be much better for one handed usage. You do make a point tho. Give us options lol.
Front facing as standard also? Well I don't need a DSLR camera on my phones. I have the OnePlus7Pro and the camera is just fine despite the camera phone mob trashing it lol. If the Duo has a camera even just front facing that you can just turn around, from what I've seen today I'm all in. That goes for the Neo also.
You are right and I hope it does have a camera because it will be a flop, even if its for business use it will need one, a quick snap can save your day.

@@chydi10 I disagree. we've seen what happened to the windows phone and I think Microsoft don't intend to fall into that rabbit hole again. android is a mature piece of software, with Google now taking a step into supporting foldable devices with android, I think Microsoft is doing the right thing putting Google's OS onto the Duo instead of a custom version of Windows. What I see in the Duo is the future of mobile hardware. a new canvas for productivity. no janky folding OLEDs with poor reliability, no proprietary software, just a solid piece of machinery that gets the job done.
Why not just stick Windows on it. I want to have a little Windows PC that I can use as a phone so I can finally get myself a Desktop PC without feeling bad about not being able to take it with me.

They tried but they couldn't get developers to code their apps for them. Also, they are already working with google with Edge Chromium so it makes sense that they go with android.
Meh. So, it's another Andriod phone. Samsung will do better. If Windows used their own OS and ecosystem, I'd be jumping up and down. When are these cell phone/mobile device manufacturers who are trying to get back in the game going to figure out that their potential niche is being an alternative to totalitarian big brother google/android?
Andréa S. Microsoft tried that with Windows 8 and 10 Mobile. I was a Windows 10 mobile user but the apps I needed were never there and MS just couldn’t garner the interest to really make the mobile OS viable.
windows phones were the best things around, the problem was support from app developers. not creating an official app, making it half assed or taking down third party apps killed the mobile side for them. had everything from htc during phone 7 through to the nokia lumia 920, 1020, 1520 and the 950xl. they sit in a drawer now because even the banks i use said they're "working on an app" but that never came.

PS: Allah is the name of God in arabic . The arabic jewish and the christians arabs they say Allah too as Muslims do . In the arabic bible it is written Allah. There is only 18% of Muslims are Arabs but there is 82 % they are Muslims but not Arabs so the majority of Muslims are not Arabs .

They tried but they couldn't get developers to code their apps for them. Also, they are already working with google with Edge Chromium so it makes sense that they go with android.

Andréa S. Microsoft tried that with Windows 8 and 10 Mobile. I was a Windows 10 mobile user but the apps I needed were never there and MS just couldn’t garner the interest to really make the mobile OS viable.
windows phones were the best things around, the problem was support from app developers. not creating an official app, making it half assed or taking down third party apps killed the mobile side for them. had everything from htc during phone 7 through to the nokia lumia 920, 1020, 1520 and the 950xl. they sit in a drawer now because even the banks i use said they're "working on an app" but that never came.
Sorry Microsoft nobody will buy it until Apple does it. 😇😄
