    As always the only innovative high tech company. Microsoft products are so ahead of their time that in many cases the idea surpasses the current state of technology. I have been waiting for 5-6 years for the surface duo. This is exactly what a foldable should be. If they manage to make the border between the two screens even thinner with some gimmick like a curved or a waterfall screen it will be perfect. The earbuds are absolutely stunning also.

    • @AJ-ox8xy
      @AJ-ox8xy 5 лет назад +1

      Yes, I always thought foldables should focus more on trying to fold tablets into phones over phones folding out to tablets. Looking at a product like this is incredibly more desirable then something like the Fold that can break because I indent my fingernail to hard into the screen.Seriously good work from Microsoft, shame it won't be out until Oct 2020 or so.

    From someone who used to be quite the Apple fan boy... I'm glad to see Microsoft step it up again!! Apple has been charging more and more for the same old designs.. These products look great and the price points are right too! Well done Microsoft!

    Just being repairable is a slap to Apple's face.

  • @jacobscott7421

    This is definitely the better way to start the folding phone category, by keeping it simple. While Samsung and others have made some pretty cool folding phones, I feel they went the overthought/over complicated route. The main thing Apple have going for them is their ecosystem of devices just working together well. Microsoft have noticed and are heading down the right path in order to make this happen for its customers. It’s been a while since I’ve been captivated by a product reveal video but wow Microsoft, that is how you get people’s attention. I hope you guys can pull this off as I’m an Apple fan but you have my attention.

    The neo and the duo look awesome. The neo is like the perfect mini laptop/tablet and the duo is like a mini notebook. The dual screens are so useful because there's so many times where you need to see two pages at once to transfer information or compare things.

      Gorgeous machines - I have the 13" one and it is perfect. I never understood Mac fans and their aesthetic love of their laptops until I got the Surface Book 2 and then it made sense - using an elegant, powerful and well-made laptop/tablet really helps you get more out of it (IMHO).

    the thing is, we loved paper books, notebooks, but we traded off the benefits of the form factors a simple book or notebook has - the cover, the "hinge", the back cover at the beginning of the digital age, for a compact screen. the action of 'opening', possibility to write on it and compact size are already a wonderful step.
