You forgot the lawyer who was trying to demonstrate with a gun how the defendant may have shot himself with a gun, and the accidentally shot and killed himself. He won the case.

One time I was at court and this guy got a 6 month custodial sentence, he laughed and said "he could do that sitting on the toilet" and then the sheriff gave him another 6 months there and then and said "here's another 6 months then to help you get off the toilet" 🤣
I was waiting in court and someone told the judge they'd be representing themselves. The judge asked if he was sure he wanted to do that. The accused said something to the affect of I'm positive. The judge immediately replied with how its great that you can be positive and dead wrong at the same time.
In my hometown a dude came into the courthouse and shot the judge 3 times. He lived

I served a few months last year. I was in court waiting to sign and this dude I was in there with (who was about to sign for 30 years) got up and started singing his own song and danced to it while still in shackles and the judge let him finish. The judge just said “I’m gonna give you contempt of court but I really don’t think you care at this point” and just started laughing

The craziest thing I’ve ever heard in court was when the judge said that my dad was capable of taking care of both my brother and I. I obviously told my lawyer to contradict that, but he told me he couldn’t.
There was a little known case where a Disney World employee was accused of assault after an accident involving him as Tigger accidentally hitting a child. What made the court case interesting though was that the defense attorney brought the actual Tigger costume to demonstrate the costumes limitations. He was later found innocent.

Here in the wonderful city Lansing, MI, they had lots of potted plants throughout the courthouse that had to be removed because people would come to court with all sorts of drugs and hide em in the potted plants in case they were remanded to jail. They'd have someone else come up later and pick em up. Crazy.

My grandmother attempted to sign (ASL) to myself and another family member. The judge ordered her to stop. She continued and was placed in a “time out”. The court officer turned her to a wall and she had to stand facing it. 😂😂😂
granny should have known better than to sign in court unless an approved ASL interpreter was on hand. (which they're probably was)

I've always thought the judicial system is absurd. Those involved and impacted have very little understanding of the language and proceedings. Those who do, still don't even know how many laws are on the books. You're not a sovereign citizen though, I know. You just work there.

Unfortunately, lots of innocent people have been sentenced to prison.

Zachary Laid Finding Freedom way over 90% of the people in prison are guilty (most on non violent drug charges). Were never gonna have a 100% right conviction rate but we can get close to that if we put up cameras literally everywhere and on everyone and a microphone along with the cameras.

When I was younger I got in trouble and I was sent to court and the penalty I got was that I had to attend school at all times and not to skip a single class or I'd go to the young people prison. And that was the best thing that had ever happened to my life 😊

I heard about the one where the judge fought the public defender! That one was crazy!
I found it hilarious, I was actually there when it happened. That when it was all over, you never heard such a backlash in all your life. Most of us was like cheering and rooting in our minds about this whole ordeal.

In one episode of Judge Mathis the Plaintiff had proposed to the Defendant who was already married and had came with her husband and Judge Mathis was just sitting there in shock and questioned the Plaintiff if this was even a real case and as you could imagine the Defendant said no and the case carried on.🏛💍
