If lavar ball has given any indication to what he is like as a parent, its that he is onvercontrolling, and potentially over possessive. Yeah, this was such a weird video, I think he knows lots of people hate Lonzo, so he was trying to appeal to those people and the video has more likes than dislikes so he was kinda right. However, the amount of hate for this kid who is only 19 and has a ton of potential is really baffling. I mean, his dad is annoying, personally I find him entertaining, but that doesn't mean you hate on his son and Lonzo has a really entertaining skill set, there's nothing more entertaining than watching a really good passer who can shoot the LONg BALL, like Curry. Ball is probably going to be a better passer than Curry though, because Curry didn't even start playing PG until his second or third year in college, he was a shooting guard before that. I only made it 7 mins into the video but why he was comparing Lonzo to MJ and Lebron's rookie numbers I'm not sure. Lonzo wasn't even the number 1 pick let alone supposed to be as good as those dudes. Keep the hate to a minimum you nob gobblin. No one likes haters.

It's honestly sad how much hate, jealousy, and overall negativity there is in this video. So basically you are saying that the hype, expectations and pressure are the main reasons why Lonzo won't have a good rookie season? None of which have anything to do with his play on the court. You can't measure how much hype/pressure have an affect on someone which technically makes those points irrelevant. But imo from an outside perspective it seems like Lonzo is good under pressure but it's still tough to say because there hasn't really been too many situations where he has been put under pressure. Now with expectations, that is subjective because no matter what numbers he put up there's always going to some people who will be disappointed (unless he puts up insane numbers of course but you can't have those expectations for a rookie). Also you compared him to MJ and LeBron and your reasoning was because it's basically the "same situation." That is incredibly false and such an ignorant statement to make. First off, Lonzo plays at PG which so completely different from SG/SF. Also Lonzo is a PG that plays with a "pass first" mentality so it's kind of a stretch to expect 20 ppg from him. Which leads me to my next point which is that you cannot compare MJ's and LeBron's numbers with Lonzo. LeBron was already put into a situation where he had to carry his team and its unfair to expect Lonzo to put up MJ's numbers. All three are different in terms of positions, play styles, physicality, and the situation/players that surround them. Also you say that D'angelo and Lonzo basically play the same way and have the same abilities which is an outright outrageous statement to make. They are completely different. Russell is more of a scorer rather than the passer that Lonzo is. And since you like comparing numbers so much let's compare Russell's and Lonzo's since they actually play the same damn position. In college, Lonzo put up 14.6 ppg and 7.6 apg. D'angelo put up 19.3 ppg and 5.0 apg. Also Russell averaged about 5 more fga than Lonzo... but Lonzo still had a fgp that was 10% higher than Russell's. And theses past two seasons Russell didn't have as good of numbers as he had in college. So I would appreciate if you stopped comparing Lonzo and Russell. Actually, I would appreciate if you stop talking about basketball in general and stop hating on the Ball family for views you fucking hater. STAY IN YO LANE!!!!!
I would also want to add that it's ridiculous how people constantly put Lonzo's play on the court and LaVar in the same category. The statements that LaVar makes has nothing to do with how Lonzo plays basketball. And to say Lonzo is "pressured" by what his dad is irrelevant because LaVar's fat ass isn't the one on the court. I think your video was very bad. I would be absolutely value your opinion on why you believed Lonzo wouldn't have a successful rookie year if you actually provided examples as opposed to bashing him and his family about a multitude of things. Also, when trying to gauge a play on how well he will be, look at his play style and look at things that are actually realistic, as opposed to comparing him to the two greatest players of all-time. Compare Lonzo to Kidd's and Magic's rookie year as his play style is much more similar to their's as it is to Jordan's or LeBron's.
