There are very few things that can lift the spirits of a community like a parade. However, riding in a parade is a whole different story as far as the boost of feelings you encounter during the ride. i have had the pleasure of riding in Mardi Gras and St. Paddies Day parades in New Orleans and the memories and thrill of the rides are indescribable. I don't know if there are any restrictions in the 4th parade but baring any restrictions here is some food for thought for your brother for next year. Using a low noise generator like yours and a PA system with speakers in the front and back and loading flash drive with a Lee Greenwoods God Bless The USA just might get him 1st place but whether or not he gets 1st place he, and his business will be remembered by all. Glad you had an enjoyable Independence Day with your family, Mark. I was in 2 parades: first at 11 AM the Tumwater Parade with my old American Legion Post 100 then at 4 PM with my current Post 17 in Centralia. Temperatures were in the 80s and the crowds were having a great time even though we weren't handing out hot dogs and icey pops.
Itchy dude glad you had a great 4th nothing more American than a parade and you got to be the king for a day and the cook good times America!
