Do you have a video of where you cut the back part of the bed floor? I'm trying to figure out the cut. So go inside the bed 2 extra inches and cut 6 inches off ?
@bacfab9259 my first time trying this. I cut the 6 on the back. I'm off by like an 1/8 from one side to the other. Can you tell me the measurement from middle stake pocket to back? I'm at 35 1/4 On one side and just a tad more on the other. I don't want the tailgate to not shut properly

Yes drive shaft will need to be cut also

Front cut is 14” rear cut by taillights is 6”

I had a question about your tape, where did you get 3/4” tape? Home Depot has .94 as the smallest size? Did you buy at a body shop supply store?
My local Orielys has it in stock it’s also available online
eBay has most anything body shop supplies I get most my stuff from eBay
