- Here we go with our budget build GMC. This truck was FREE with our new property! It has a pretty torn up bedside however we found a $200 color matched bed on Marketplace. Lets figure out what it takes to combine the two and cut it down to a short bed! Budget shop truck build here we come!

I am a new viewer, came here after he did that ViceGrip Garage between the aisles interview with Derek. Pretty neat channel, at first i was just thinking this guy acts a little silly as he tinkers with old cool cars. After actually watching him, this guy does pretty solid work! I know you long time viewers already know that but as a new viewer, he is doing some serious fab work that ends up awesome and seems to be having fun doing it his own way!!
His shtick is an acquired taste, for sure, but very endearing. Quite earnest under that silly patina, much like his vehicles, come to think of it.
Yeah! After binge-watching all of his videos, including his second channel videos, every time you find yourself sitting’ on ur ass, a lil puddin’ philosophy might come to mind! 🤣💯🇺🇸

His failure are hilarious and he absolutely owns them. But I've found doing a few projects I've failed the same and he always has a solution that will pop in my brain to help me.

I found this fella recently. I watched the current videos and started watching some older videos to get an idea of what kind of guy he is. I'm a fan. But, after seeing the genius of the Tow-Rolla toting that long bed into the shop, I'm a big fan. I'm here to stay, brother.
I've got to say I've never seen anyone work as efficiently as you do solo. It would take me weeks to do what you do in a few days 😂

Can honestly say your “sitting on your ass won’t get your project done” got me off my ass this summer and I got most of my project done . I lowered and put exhaust on my step side c10 , got new (to me) wheels and tires on . Have been able to hot dog around this fall . Thank you .

Should build you some removable attachments for the front of the Towrolla (hitch ball, forks, etc.). Driving the trailer forwards around the property would be so much easier and precise than trying to back it in.
Same way the jet sprint guys do it. Works better than backing up
Backing works perfectly if you don't suck at it.

Great work, very impressive and looks great. You should take a piece of the scrap bed and make a patch panel and fill in the rust on the front corner it should already have the right curves on it. Love you videos can’t wait to watch them every week on both channels 🤙

That's an insane amount of work for 1 man in a single week! Even without body work and paint fully welded bed and 80% of frame welded that would take a normal shop 4 guys the whole week 160 hours of work. Brotha you crushed it this week!

Getting her dun... When I went to auto body in high school, we never did that intensive work. However, at GM school, we cut two (2) Vega's in half and weled them back together. Memories. 😅 Killed it again, Puddin. 😊😅

@@sundogaudio851 I’m not concerned about what the market likes on that I don’t mind the stepside bed for the short bed trucks or an extended cab short bed standard cab short bed I’m just not that big of a fan personally, I think slammed long bed would be cooler in my opinion

carpenters call your marking gauge - a story pole - it has heights of windows, doors, cabinets, plumbing, electrical outlets and switches - wainscot - etc. you could also use a combination square.

Im a 55+ yr old man and I prefer long beds and vehicles that are not lowered they dont do a thing for me however your skills are amazing and I appreciate the work and effort ya put into these builds and their back up and running so thats a win and the short bed conversion looks nice I would just be happy to have it they way it was . And I loved the bed transportation method now thats how I do things lol.

Your yard set up reminds me of my dad. Like a combination of Tetris, snakes and ladders and square dancing. If you leave yourself room around your stuff you can get a lot more done with a lot less effort.
