    It really infuriates me how these carriers scam people. There is no shortage of drivers, there is a shortage of decent companies in the transportation industry.

    I left Freymiller because me and my wife moved to Travis Air Force Base in California and now I drive local and making more money. Freymiller was cool I just feel like they did everything the extra hard way from fueling the truck and reefer and how they want that done, to company drivers paying out of pocket for CAT Scale tickets to lastly always having to pull into the maintenance bay when coming to the terminal… I also turned in all my equipment and never got my deposit when I left. For those looking for a company think twice about Freymiller.

    • @trucker_rob

      I got my last check and most of my pet deposit back. I personally don’t mind the inspection bay, means they take pride or attempt too take pride and care of their property/ equipment. It’s the drivers who don’t report anything and cut wires on trailers because a light is on the dash.

      They are all set up so everyone makes roughly the same amount of money every where.
      No mater if you’re a company driver or lease.
      Even if you get your own truck it’s slim pickings with how much you can make, with freight as of now.

      Read messages about load information and it’ll say whatever the code is before the name of business.

      Long story short they refused to pay me breakdown pay while I was broke down 3-4 days a week for a month straight, Tim in shop that manages the trucks
      Refused to pay me when i was broke down in the terminal,and had to go to kw dealership. At that time loads were very few and i was always sitting after i delivered a load for a day or sometimes two. It was bs ever since they sold the company.

    Stop working for big carriers simple as that

    • @trucker_rob
      @trucker_rob  Год назад

      Big carriers buy the smaller ones out to control more and the prices.
      Finding a small company that can survive and meet what big carriers offer like taking the truck home for home time, or if i live in Texas they don’t hire in Texas.

    • @petrosaguilar8916
      @petrosaguilar8916 11 месяцев назад

      Gotta be careful with the small ones too. It's often a case of who you know and how much brown nosing you do that determines if they give you good runs or garbage.
