We have been using this method to move logs of wood in the river for hundreds of years in southern Nigeria ( Edo , Dealtal, cross river byisa etc. , cool
What do you think we try to find the most expensive and technologically advanced solution to our individual everyday problems or daily activities. We do as individuals still think this way. In fact, the majority of the world still thinks this way even when it comes to any major scale thing. Not many but a very small group of people (major corporations) in relation to the rest of the world have the means to do it the very fast and mechanical way.
@@guy2006 many individuals and businesses tend to seek expensive, technologically advanced solutions to everyday problems, even when simpler, more cost-effective options are available. This is often driven by the appeal of new technology and the desire for the fastest, most efficient solutions. However, only a small group, primarily large corporations, can afford these advanced methods, while the majority of people, especially in less resource-rich areas, still rely on more affordable and manual approaches. This highlights a divide in access to high-tech solutions between the wealthy few and the rest of the world.
Now THAT is working smarter. You always have to leave it to the people who seem like they live and make do with less, to be the ones to come up with such innovation. People like them keep the world moving!!!
I hope you wrote some captions. So people watching your videos would understand some of the processes thats being done. I am curious about the red stone or crystal. What are those?
As a couple of other commenters have pointed out, this is not new nor genius. Rafting (as opposed to booming) as a method to move raw wood materials (logs, pulpwood, etc.) on rivers has been practiced for at least a couple hundred years in Northern Europe and the United States. Many, many videos on UTube about this.

The tradition to move timber on the rivers goes several hundred years back in Scandinavia. The Swedish Word for moving tree logs on waterways is ”flottning”. Modern problems, ancient solutions! I love seeing sustainable methods like this being used. We need more of this type of thinking in today's world! 🌏💡

It’s being done in asia for more than 2000 years. Many historical texts noted this way of moving logs through river.
