Cheers, friend! I just picked up a little beater BH Outback and I'm looking for inspiration for my build. Yours is a really rad and practical build. I appreciate you sharing.
Hi Samwise! Thanks for the kind words! They really are an amazing little beast and will get you almost anywhere you will ever want to go with the right setup! :)
Hi Patrick, I haven't switched back yet but I will be for sure. The main reason I'm going the lift kit is for the extra clearance. I could run both, but the raised springs and the kit will put excess strain on the cv's. There are a few folks around that have done it and they soon switch back to standard springs, because of the excess CV fatigue of running lift kit and raised springs. For now though, those raised springs are getting me everywhere I want to go, but extra clearance won't hurt as there a few bumps and slight scrapes here and there for the Outback, that the lifted Forester's cruise over without contacting ground.
I had them in there but was censured by youtube, as somebody made complaints about them, so yes, I had to remove them. If there's something you need please contact me and we can discuss from there

Don’t know what it drives like but a more subtle 1” lift is the best looking on the outback in my opinion.
This is a really helpful video, thank you for it. Liked and subbed
Thanks Eric! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your support.
What made you switch from the king springs back to stock spring/lift combo?
I'm running king lift springs currently on my 3rd gen.
