First heard Michael Hearn at Anderson Fair in Houston. He’s become one of my most favorites and this beautiful song is my favorite. Very nice Michael Hearn, thanks for such a wonderful body of work.
Shake Russell and Michael Hearne bring back fond memories of the Kerrville Folk Festivals I attended for over 30 years. Michael's parents were wonderful and this music makes my heart warm and reminds me of the treasures these artists are to all of us. Thanks, Shake and Michael. Keep on keepin' on.
Can hardly wait for The Big Barn Dance again this year in Taos! Also can't wait to be in beautiful Taos again. Thank you Shake and Michael for all your wonderful music. Speaks to my soul.
As I await for surgery, I find this to be my current theme song. Oh, how I love to play it everyday, and hope to restore my ability to perform again. Adding to my song list.
We were most appreciative to Michael and Shake for stopping by our art gallery to play a few songs, including this one, during Nocona’s “Art of the Song” music and arts festival. They are very talented musical artists and great guys, as well.
Saw him for the first time ever this past weekend at the Mucky Duck in Houston this past weekend for a special date night with my mom since she's been a Shake Russell fan for 30+ years. While we were there to specifically see Shake Russell, I was actually drawn more towards Michael Hearne. Although I was able to thank you while we were there, I would like to thank you again for making the evening so special for my mom and I. It's an experience we will fondly remember for years to come. Not once have I ever liked an artist, let alone comment on their song, I felt the need to do so on this one
Michael, Shake , Butch Morgan, and a host of other fine musicians played this at the Big Barn Dance in Taos this past weekend and made the angels cry. Thanks, Michael and friends: I'll remember this one on my deathbed.
Shake and Michael put on a great show. Look up old Shake songs Like Gentle Way to Ride on RUclips. Maybe he will bring back some of these classics from the old days in Houston. Pillow of Stone. So many great songs.

When I'm not working, I go where the good music's at.
Love this. Kind of been out of the Texas music scene for a while. For shame. Glad to be back.
