The E-flite Carbon-Z T-28 Trojan 2.0m was one of the first-ever large-scale, fully molded foam warbird models available. To this day, it’s still one of the largest foam warbird models to ever hit the market, offering convenience and flight performance unmatched by similar-sized models constructed of any material. Due to popular demand, this latest version of the CZ T-28 has been updated and upgraded with Smart electronics, more durable and reliable retracts, LED landing and navigation lights, plus a fully painted finish to deliver a “giant scale” warbird experience you simply can’t get from any other model. Its legendary flight performance makes it easy to fly, even by low-time pilots who have only flown smaller warbird models, while also offering plenty of capability for even the most demanding pilots. That makes it a perfect choice for intermediate to experienced pilots interested in a convenient, capable, and easy to fly large-scale model of one of the most popular and recognizable military trainer aircraft ever! Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you HH. Been waiting for this one to come out. I got into the hobby after the last version was discontinued and never was able to find one.
Love it and thank you so much to Horizon for listening to us 😊. Been patiently waiting for this and you nailed every single one of items I wanted on this magnificent giant 😊👍I will definitely be buying and looking forward to flying it as daily flyer at the club. Thank you 🙏
Glad you re-released it and addressed the retract issue. Buddy at our flying field was wishing you re-released this last week. Sounds like his prayer has been answered.
That's something I don't understand either. I just got a used old one 2 weeks ago and the gear broke down. I hope the new one fits and is really improved.
@@HorizonHobbyProducts So why there isn't a video yet explaining what exactly is improved with the landing gear, and why not to include quick connectors for the wing cabling instead of the spaghetti of cables that we has to plug and unplug every time you want to fly your plane! 🤦🏾♂️ Ohh and let's not forget the fact that you didn't reinforce the landing gear mount on the wings...you leave them mounted against the thin foam wall of the wing as in the original version, so after a few hard landings those landing gear mounts will poke through the top of the wing as the old version do...🤦🏾♂️and to make it worst, hard plastic wheels 🤦🏾♂️Really 🤦🏾♂️ The plane flies great, but you really went old school and cheap on this "New Version " of the aircraft... The color and decals looks great, though! I can say this because I bought one and that's what I ended up dealing with... Find my plane's maiden flight in my RUclips channel...👍🏾
Are you sure the landing gear is "upgraded"? I have the older T-28 Carbon Z and the landing gear looks identical. Would have loved to see this with suspension landing gear, was cost a factor?
Great to see the CZ T-28 back! You can't get a giant scale warbird complete with retracts, flaps, and the lot for this little money usually. I have $2000 in my H9 1/6 81" Spitfire. Crazy what it takes to outfit an ARF.
@@HorizonHobbyProducts C'mon, guys! I need info here! I'm planning the next addition to my hangar and it's between the Freewing AL37 and the EC-1500. I'd really rather it be the EC, but... ;) 😅
You'll definitely love it when you get one! And per one of our resident full-scale aircraft experts: "T-28A models had a 2-blade prop. B and C models had the more familiar 3-blade. While I prefer the 3-blade, it is historically accurate for a T-28 to have either a 2-blade or 3-blade prop."
Of course we choose to shoot video on a nice day (who wants to see it flown on a dreary, not-so-nice day...and don't most people prefer to fly on a nice day?)! But we also fly this and all of our other models in not-so-great weather conditions throughout the design and development process...AS3X is a big help when flying in windy conditions in particular!
I always wanted a jet for my next plane, but this will do. I love the size of this thing. Please make the SR22 larger. I think that would also be a hit.
HH can you please bring back the UMX T-28 with 3s? It was the perfect sub 250g legal park flyer but it's impossible to find now. The voodoo umx is nice but from the reviews it looks difficult to land. No one else os selling a low wing sub 250g 3s plane at the moment.
I have to ask about the elephant in the room as no one else seems to do it - HOW do you transport it to and from the field if you do not have a Truck - do the wings come off and on with ease - ?? I would have thought the the V2 E-Flight might have addressed this for those who just don't have the car space for a fully set up 2m aircraft... Please tell us it can be taken down and transported without its wings...

@@HorizonHobbyProducts lots of foam airplanes at this price point have spring retracts… not sure i’m getting “keep the price down” argument on a 650$ model.
