You have to do some cutting on the strut pins to make everything work. But its a simple job.

Nicely done, I did the Xwave retracts on my red/white one, A10 80mm nose gear, robart low bounce wheels on the mains, avian 100amp esc, and the dubro 2/56 control rods and 2/56 nylon clevises. The Dubro control rods really made everything more precise and it flys great! I have the yellow one new in the box but haven't built it yet as my red/white one still looks new and flys perfect.

These things use the cheapest possible linkages... like on the jets I'm gonna be doing 100mph turns and its criminal the hardware they supply. Luckily, Du-Bro and Sullivan to the rescue. Great vid, ordered the mains and the nose. Got the whole main retract set on the off chance they fit my EMS 1800mm P-51B. If they do then I'll order just the struts when they come back in stock separate. Thanks for the links, appreciate the channel and the reviews.

That's what I use. I love the plane. It's really a bit like a FW 190 but with different landing gear.

Hi I've bought all the landing gear parts to upgrade my trojan. How do you get the wing gear out. I've removed grub screw but it won't pull free . Help please if your able. Thanks Andy from the UK.

What do you draw in the panel lines with? I wish Horizon or FMS would come out with a quality P40 same size as the LX!
I dry brush them with weathering powders. Its an old plastic modeling technique i carried over into RC.
@@all_rc How does it stick. Do you spray a clear coat?
@@MultiSkyman1 it stays on pretty much like how real dirt and oil would dry onto real surfaces. Its more like a stain build up effect that is more subtle than using markers or capillary action water based acrylics. I shoot some clear coat over some of the planes when im happy with the look. But lately i've been leaving them uncoated since it has a nice effect of fading and smudging over time.

Did you replace the entire retract? Or did you fit the FMS struts onto the stock eflite retracts?
I put the FMS struts on the stock V2 retract.

On the A-10 Landing gear is it including the servo?
No. Just the strut and wheel. The retract and steering servo are still V2 stock.
Do you have any video on the modification as I can’t fit the A10 struts into the E-flite retract.

Do you know if there are more options for the main legs? Seems that the P-51‘s are not available at the moment.
So; these idiots want me to spend over $600 of my hard earned dollars on a scale plane that still has no scale landing gear nose wheel doors; and it's their version #2? No thanks!
I'll spend the money when they get it together in their meeting rooms!
That plane goes over 90mph so it's pretty fast in my opinion.
