This man is a genius.

My deceased mother-in-law was an evangelical atheist,she loved to preach back at Mormons. I felt sorry for the great emptiness in her life, in many ways.
It is because of Steven Fry's documentary on the US that, during mt last road trip, I made sure to visit Asheville NC, which he mentions here. It's a great town for numerous reasons. & as an unplanned bonus Moogfest 2011 was going on so I got to see a lot of great bands in such a surprising location. It was a good time.
For a fraction of a minute after hearing they are talking about Bertrand Russell I thought to myself " What if TV and generally all the other manifestations of mass media decide to drastically change their philosophy and instead of their pathetic preoccupation with profit and entertainment they marshal all their focus on education and the advancement of sciences and cultures ?. That would be amazing.
Ehsan Dowlatshah We used to have such T.V. in the old USSR. Only educational programmes for kids and science programmes for the grow ups with the leading scientists of the time. Symphonic concerts and great movies with great actors. At the time it was terribly boring for us kids ) But now I miss that television.
Create a new channel and name it something similar so we can find you easily. And thanks for uploading these, you are a life saver for us that don't live in US

Letterman IS highly intellegent, haven't you noticed? He wouldn't prefer rotting bodies as a topic of conversation, but there you have it. And Frye is wrong on embalmed bodied being seen only by Catholics. At least in the U.S. (though who could expect him to know this?)many denominations embalm the body for viewing. I saw both of my deceased parents, soon after they passed.
i noticed that in some of the episodes, the clips you left in go on for a little while. they might be long enough for youtube to catch
I'm glad Steven mentioned Knoxville, because I'm from there! :D
But the thing that worries me the most is the fact that now if I get other 2 strikes the accounts will be banned and all the espisodes I uploaded until now will be cancelled and lost.
I was thinking I should create a new channel because in this way at least all the episodes I have uploaded on this one will be safe.
Please let me know what you think of it or any better way of dealing with this problem.

Yes I think this is the best solution, at least all the old episodes should be safe.
I have just one copyright strike on this channel and the other episodes are not giving me any problems, so I think if I just don't take any more risk on this channel it should all be fine.

Ok, some pretty bad news.
Since the copyright strike (caused by CBS removal of Friday episode) my account has been officially flagged and it has a lot of limitations.
One of these is the fact that I can no longer upload videos longer than 15 minutes, that's why I had to upload tonight's episode divided in parts.

Yes that's true but I ALWAYS cut them out, so that's not the reason for my copyright strike.

What exactly is CBS reasoning behind removing this show from here? I can not understand what they lose from people around the world get to see this show, which they wouldn't if there was not for people like you who upload it to YT.

Stephen fry is not as clever as he makes out and his doting fans believe.
Graham Jeacocke you know, weirdly enough, I believe that people like Stephen Fry are really smart when they’re young cause they do put effort in thinking and wondering and asking insightful questions. But once they’re well known, I think they subconsciously realise that anything they say, the people will take it as words from a genius and therefore their efforts go down too, and overtime so does the quality of what they come up with.
Stephen fry is intelligent in the sense of remembering information. Like reciting the times table
But not intelligent in the true sense of having answers like jesus christ

I trust Jesus by the things he said because they made humanity strive in hope to achieve greatness in community.
