The Off Road Wrecker is in good hands! With all the work you have done for all the You Tube Fabricators, Builders, Engineers, I have not heard of any complaints about the work you and your family do! Keep up the good content, and I look forward to seeing what comes next! Til next time take care, stay safe and I'll see you then...
Well, it takes only one time when you do wiring or pretty much any work on such a open rig when it's dirty and you'll promise to never do it again while you're trying to get all the sand out of your eyes, ears, nose and mouth :P
I finally heard something that brings to light and answers a question I have had. Mention of a "ward" warms my heart. Big reason I follow Chad, Paul & Matt.
It doesn't matter how big the fuel tank is if you don't put any fuel in it! My first vehicle was a 1957 Chevrolet. If the fuel gauge needle touched the empty line you were walking so I learned never to get below 1/4 tank.
Always enjoy your video's Chad! You might want to purchase a little garden sprayer to apply cleaning solution to vehicles. You can cover a lot more area a lot quicker.
Glad Matt brought the wrecker up to you, never in a million years would Matt actually get all these little details done. Gonna be a helluva nice ride once you're done with it.
I can relate to how hard it is to clean the truck of sand hollow sand, a year later and it's still working its way to the surface of my truck. Every crack, corner and inch of frame! thinking I'll head back down there before I run out! I really enjoy watching you and your family craft these projects. What a team!
I think that truck would look awesome with a large chromed canned air filter like the big rigs do, plus it'll run better since it'll be drawing in cool air instead of hot air from the engine.
That would be great for the 'in-cab air' that Matt wants.I was thinking on the need for filtering and didn't even think of those. That's really perfect. We all saw the dust at Moab, and I couldn't believe people were just walking around in it without masks.
Chad, I think you should put a little add-on for Matt. Like a "Farm Implement" red triangle on the rear of the wrecker. Then he would be street legal ! LOL
Overall it was an excellent video production👌, loved the choice of music 👌. Great editing to include just the right amount, of characters, humour, family & tech. Did I mention music👌👌🎼. Couldn’t agree more with all the chat comments.
Chad is always so calm and laid back so I wasn't surprised at the condition of his shop and property 🙄. Everything in it's place and clean. Even when they were spraying the wrecker I was wondering if they have a dedicated cleaning area because the concrete is so clean 👌 😅
You guys have become my favorite RUclips channel and I have a bunch of them that I watch of your friends and all of those folks and it’s just enjoyable watching yours
This episode seemed to flow nicely, & plenty of chuckles of course! Sure hope ya get to drive it off road for a bit. We'd love an unbiased review of the ride & whatnot... (It certainly looks very capable, lol!). Its always fun to see the family, definitely warms ones heart ! Thanx !
I think, way back in the build days, when Trevor was wiring the original patch panel under the batteries, that a fire may have been started. In one video after Trevor had left MORR, Matt discovered extinguisher residue inside the frame and Lizzy said something like, "it was only a small fire".😀
Chad and crew yall are great fabricator you should make some fenders for Matt and make it really street legal and my idea is to mount them on the steering knuckles so they turn with the tires
I like that you will get it done right. There seems to be a lot of things to get changed out and finished off, so wrecker should be even more awesome when it's done.
You guys have a great team! It's cool to see you guys working together on projects. Also appreciate the injection of positivity at the end of your videos.👍🇺🇸😎
Great video, liked the shop tour. When your wiring up the turn signals, I would love to know how you like to splice each branch to their corners. Thanks
I have a 24oz framing hammer. And a 28. And my ol' favorite when I was younger working as a framing carpenter, my 32oz California framer. Like Tom says, the face is worn nearly smooth. The claws are rounded and dull. Probably on its 3rd handle. 3 or 4 finish hammers. Those all live in my carpenter tool box. Then there's my mechanical toolbox and my fabrication toolbox. Different hammers in each. A selection of ball peins, drilling hammers (aka "Chevy tool"), hand sledge, cross pein (the last 3 all at various times referred to as "BFH"), roofer's hatchet, rigging hammer (hatchet), tack hammer I made when I was 12, drywall hammer, a selection of body hammers, dead blow in various weights from 1lb to 5lb, rubber, hard plastic machinists hammer... Probably some others I can't remember right now. Of course there's the 8 and 12lb sledges. Oh, the 6lb lead hammer. Just all sorts of hammers for various purposes. Handy for people who wear many hats in their life.
You going with 40-42 on Grizz? Can always run 35-37 if its already designed for the larger foot print tires. I have noticed Matt's sidewalls roll under really far when traversing side hill sections... looked like it was ridding on the rim at times.😮 That was at EJS, without anything in tow. Wouldn't it be sweet to have the ability to change air psi on the fly like the Hummers & other army trucks were setup!?? I'm sure retrofitting it would be a serious challenge but such a cool feature to allow you to find tune the footprint on the fly. Matt & everyone have commented on how Soft it rides over rough terrain, thinking alot of that has to do with the tire size & psi. Eric has the run flats up front for added weight where Rory added extra steel to the nose to keep it down. Love the stock looking 72 body, but having a V nose & lowered hood could allow you to see better. I have seen an LCD color split screen & dual cameras for RV use, a guy could add that to the front with 3 cameras to allow you video vision. Like playing a video game maybe? Never played video games but my nephews looks really detailed & clear. Can't wait to see everyone's New wrecker builds! Eric is going to be building an old heavyduty Forest service Jeep pickup for Seatcover, Rory is building up the old antique Ford wrecker for Robbie & everyone else is fine tuning their wreckers. Always wondered why no one has added a removable soft bumper pad to the rear to keep both rigs from being damaged just in case... like Rorys X cross straps that keep the towed rig from swinging side to side, I bet Allen would make all you guys a set if asked, then again with your ability to weave in a new end.... you could make your own in any custom color. So much fun to watch everyone evolve & help each other out.
My wrecker will have 40s. I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to narrow the front like Paul did. It will likely have cameras mounted front and rear. I have a similar system planned for Paul's so he can be the guinea pig. Matt's wrecker is set up for central tire inflation so look for that in the next week or two.
You should add a bench seat at the back for 2 people to complete your recovery crews. If you move your toolboxes a little outside the wide of your tires you can get the space for the bench seat...
Matt. It NEEDS a husky chrome grab bar high right behind the drivers door. Also that trailer needs parking brakes so your not banging against the transmission “park” pawl when moving it on the trailer.
I enjoy watching real people doing real work.
When you want things done and done right, you take it to Chad's Fab!
😮???
So True
Amen and amen!
From what videos I've been watching I agree with this statement, he knows what he's doing forsure.
Matt and Paul are smart , when they want the job done Right they know Chad will Fix it for them boys !! 👍👍
Chad's wife is a jovial lady, her laughter even from behind the camera is really a good soundtrack for the channel's content.
Chad says: I ran out of gas, the gas station is across the street, I must been
around Matt too long. Good one!!!
Chad you live in a beautiful place with the mountains in the background covered in snow

I was just wondering if Chad is/was a bishop ... he just seems like one.
@@Jeeps_guns_bbq I agree.
Chad your customers are very lucky to have found you. Honest mechanics are hard to come by. God bless
Just paid $2500 in labour to have one gearbox taken out and replace in a Hyundai Santa fe 2000 😂 thanks for sharing, all the best to you all
Chad...I hope you realize how valuable you are to the rest of the 'WRECKING COMMUNITY'! 👈😎👍#335
You can't be more right.
Thank God you keep notebooks on your projects CHAD. Thats why they call you the wiring guru. Love the family all hands on deck
I'm getting old and can't remember this much stuff anymore.
"don't touch my stuff"! Grap that clip guys, gonna come in handy!
It doesn't matter how big the fuel tank is if you don't put any fuel in it! My first vehicle was a 1957 Chevrolet. If the fuel gauge needle touched the empty line you were walking so I learned never to get below 1/4 tank.

Now...that's a heck'uva good idea!
A pressure washer with a foam cannon makes it even easier.
Glad Matt brought the wrecker up to you, never in a million years would Matt actually get all these little details done. Gonna be a helluva nice ride once you're done with it.
I have a deep hidden resentment for cracked windshields.....but man that wrecker is awesome🔨💪

Love how involved Korbin is, he is a bright young kid that loves autos just as much as everyone there.

Thanks for the awesome team. Your skills are impeccable. Stay safe. 😊
I can never get enough of seeing the wrecker
It’s just “cool”😎
So nice to see your sons carrying on with your work ethic, they are the future.
Hey, Korbin had an amazing response... Great job Korbin😁👍😎

You guys have such a great relationship. The offroad community and Matt's band of brothers (so to speak) in particular are such fun to watch.
They were calling each other brother before it was cool
You always have great words at the end. Thanks.
Chad puts the sparkle on a very cool vehicle...everything in its place. Thanks for sharing!
It fits in your shop better than I thought it would!
Good stuff. Looking forward to seeing the completed dash.
It's so Cool.... that all your Boy's and Dusty can get along and work together....
And accomplish so much together...
What a Special Family......❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thanks for letting me watch.
Thanks for watching!
Looking forward to seeing the WLORW get tidied up a bit. Such a great build and it turned out to be an incredibly capable rig!
The train going in front of the snowy mountains is such a nice view

Never ceases to amaze me. Matt knew just where to take it. Looking forwards to the next episode.
Looks like a busy couple weeks for you all. It’s awesome seeing the whole family just get after it!!! Awesome channel you have.
Those snow covered mountains! You guys have a beautiful view
You should paint it pink and purple polka dots.
I’m glad you’re connecting the exposed wires so the MORR crew can’t zap themselves or start a fire.
not going to zap yourself off 12/24v but 100% at least some vinyl polkadots ;-)
I think, way back in the build days, when Trevor was wiring the original patch panel under the batteries, that a fire may have been started. In one video after Trevor had left MORR, Matt discovered extinguisher residue inside the frame and Lizzy said something like, "it was only a small fire".😀
Nice quick shop tour! It gives us a lot more perspective of your workspace. Thanks!
Now that's funny. " They didn't see you drive through the fence; they saw Matt's Recker, drive through the fences! " 😂🤣😇
When you want things done correctly you call Chad….washing the vehicle before you work on it is a very smart move.
I can't wait to see Griz become a wrecker!
Great build, great family. 💪👍🏼
You guys are just amazing
Chad I wish I had the patience you have for doing wiring. You are a true hero.
Chad and crew yall are great fabricator you should make some fenders for Matt and make it really street legal and my idea is to mount them on the steering knuckles so they turn with the tires
It’s awesome to see your whole family involved in everything that you do!
The roof and his head was a match
Yes "dream big" awesome Chad take care! be safe, have fun, it is what life is about. In my builds my motto is "your dreams are my designs"
Excited to see you get it shaped up.
It’s a super cool looking truck ! Revelle needs to make a model kit of it !!! 6:55
Thanks for the video watching from Reno NV
Chad and his team make everything look so easy when it’s not. I absolutely enjoy watching all the videos. Everyone in them is fantastic!!
Great video!! You guys all have LOTS of work to get done on Matt's wrecker!! I have faith!! I know you'll get it done in time!!

Respect for the FedEx guy waiting to see what 2 crazy guys were going to do 😂
Or admiring the Wrecker. 😅
Dusty needs to build another Big Block. 60-66 truck.😊
Great editing! Just the right combination of fast forward action, technical explanation, character development and humour.

Great work guys. God bless you all.

Best way to apply Purple Power.
Give it a try.

Good luck getting all fixed up properly in time, don't forget to use it to move some of your stuff in the backyard too...
If I can add a suggestion, run duel 5-6" miter cut stacks (black) for the exhaust. She will look next level. 👍
Love those quotes. The one Chad came up this time. It's an epic one. To find it. You need to watch the episode.
Like always a great job 👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
The tires 🛞 are so big that it looks comical 😂. I love it. Chad you have to build one.
Working on it with Griz 😁😁
You guys do it right !
Watching from Matt's video, I never realized the view you guys had there. It's got to do a burnout when it leaves.
The Chad crew making things better
Sometimes it's a bummer when the video ends.

Being a retired truck driver I can give you the definition of a weekend. It's the end that gives out first.. lol
The arrival of Friday is my favorite because that means there's only two more work days in the week.
Definitely need the controller to drive it in the shop
There are great backup cameras and monitors that would be used to view the back of the boom and other "stuff".
Even when you screw up it’s not so bad that you can’t fix it. Good job.
