I've been doing this but without the micro walk and that's why I saw minimal success and thought nothing of it. If I was more big brain like the pros I'm sure I could've picked up in it sooner.

Do you know how much I've complained about Juri not having a crouching jab-short-jab string that works? A lot fucking more than I probably should have.

let me know why I didn't connect the cr. hp after H slash elbow at the combo @7:41 ? I could only connect the cr.hp near the corner not in middle of screen. 😭😭😭

Micro walk after the first cr.lp
Maybe it's me that I'm stupid, but I didn't really understand why is this light string so good. I'm not a pretty good alex player but I usually do:
1) St.Lp>Cr.Lp>St.Lk>Light flash chop
Because st.lp has 3 active frames, so it's slightly easier to hit meaty and because it's +3 on block
Alternatively I do this other string:
2) Cr.Lp>Cr.Lp>St.Lk>light flash chop
I saw this one from prototype. If I land every hit I'm in range of medium power bomb.
What am I doing wrong? Why Riv looks so impressed when looking at that string? Did I miss something? Thank you guys in advance
It’s a low check. With the strings you just mentioned, there is no threat of getting hit with a low and then being able to combo afterwards. The maximum reward would be a cr mk.
Doing this technique though, allows the cr lp to be a foundation that leads into things such as cr.lp>powerbomb or cr.lp>st.mp>st lk combo, etc.
So what happens when it’s possible to get thrown after blocking cr lp, but it’s also possible to get hit from a low that leads into pressure or death if you have v-trigger?

@@riccardofoti2372 the low beats backdash or jump after the cr.lp, so there’s now more incentive to block and take the throw. it covers exactly what the command throw doesn’t cover
