I would love to see a complete package as the gen2. Maybe work with Fletcher and their open top 11/22 to make it easier to clean, plus a metal rail for a more rugged zero.
Agreed. They also need to adjust the mold to allow for a binary trigger selector switch at the safety button. Also some tool-less screws or possibly tool-less push pins instead of the existing nut/screws.
The portability of this is interesting, was considering a folding stock for mine but this looks like a better truck/boat/pack rifle. Love the mag stowage, makes it a real grab and go package, throw in pack and roll. How well will this hold up to hard use though, as well as factory? I would like to see some videos of this thing being drug around testing reliability. No offense, but have only seen a handful of videos of people pretty much standing around shooting this at a range, with no follow up.
My daughter is using one of these in NRL22 competitions. She's 8 years old and it gets banged on props, ladders, cinder blocks, tank traps etc... So far it has held up perfectly. She loves it. It is a very durable stock.
Just got one of these its pretty sweet putting this thing together was easy as well though i did have a little trouble lining up the screws that hold the receiver in place i was still able to get it done
I really needed some more specific guidance on installing the trigger spring properly. Even this video stresses installing it in the "correct orientation", but NEVER specifically shows a clear close-up of what that is! And, the printed instructions were less than useless on this important task.
How about a tip or trick to tighten down the bottom action screw as I have not been able to find any torque wrench or bit slim enough to fit in that little hole
What are the different Ruger 10/22 models it accepts. I have seen 16” and 18” barrels some with threaded muzzle devices and some without? I have also seen folks upgrade their trigger and barrel, does the trek accept some of these common upgrades?
the only thing that would be an issue is the trigger since we're using a bullpup trigger now, the piece of metal that hits the trigger from the bullpup trigger was only built with stock trigger press in mind otherwise barrel is no issue, stock is long enough that 16 won't be an sbr and you can throw on anything at the end same as any other 10/22
I tried to put a 16" barrel into mine, from a 10-22 Compact. It would not fit; the muzzle was about 1.5 inches inside the end of the stock, and I would have had to remove the front sight even if I thought the muzzle would be ok back in there.
@@DesertTechUT on the chassis you silly goose. 10/22s are your neighborhood slut. They can take a beating, and keep giving. But the chassis is made of plastic.
I thought that too, but honestly it's pretty dang cool and no other bullpup kit is as well designed. Yeah they're charging a lot for it, but this is so much more efficient than the Aklys chassis. I'm happy with my purchase.
why....why is it even on the instructions and the companies own video....does nothing show you what to do with the nuts? WHY? they come with the gun what do i do with them?

Hey guys is the proof research barrel locks in or just held in place by tension screws?
Thanks.

Still really want to get one of these in gray!

Can you make these in black? Definitely will pick one up in black
Will you be able to use the binary trigger with this stock?
maybe, it may take some slight alteration.

can we get a reliability and stress test on these?
On a 10/22?

So if I disassemble to clean it, will I need to re-zero the optic?
depends on the optic, and how well you take it apart and put it together the same way.
I understand wanting to keep your gun clean but a 10/22 needs very minimal maintenance
I received no instruction sheet with mine (OD green).
if you shoot us an email to warranty.service@deserttech.com we can get you a replacement.
Will this work with a Ruger SR 10/22?
not sure, it is designed for the standard 10/22
Hopefully they redesign this with a cut out so you can use original mounting points, plastic rails are finicky.
"Its very important that the trigger spring is in the correct orientation"
Then proceed to not tell or show said orientation. 😂😂
OK at 199.00 but 299,00 is nuts.

inflation, or bidenomics

No nuts come with the 10/22
The nuts go in the hex shaped reliefs. Screw on one side nuts on the other, 1 of the videos in this play list shows if more information is needed.
*Promo SM* 😂
