This guy needs zero auto tune
He doesn't need it at all I definitely agree his vocals are pristine, but there is a slight amount on his vocals in this. Either that or they're using some kind of flex pitch or melodyne I can hear it. It's industry standard for artists to use slight bits of autotune and most untrained ears can't pick it up unless they've been around audio engineering for some time. Regardless he absolutely killed this!

There are plenty of artists doing kind-of what he’s doing, I think they just aren’t as good at it. His voice has that rasp and it’s appealing to most everyone’s ears. That’s his unique quality. Colter wall and Vincent Neil Emerson have somewhat similar qualities but sing a different type of country, more traditional western. Morgan is moving in that direction though with “cover me up”.

That’s amazing. I am actually doing the exact same thing. I had an acoustic for the longest time but unfortunately recently I ended up selling it and guys a Fender Telecaster and the amp for it and whatnot. It still sounds good but I think his songs would sound better on acoustic
