This video is a tutorial on Sine and Cosine Rule. Please make yourself a revision card while watching this and attempt my examples. Straight away then move to my video on Sine and Cosine Rule 2 - Exam Questions 18. This video is for students attempting the Higher paper AQA Unit 3 Maths GCSE, who have previously sat the foundation paper. Explanations are aimed at being as simple as possible and so students who previously did the Foundation paper can access. They would also be useful for students who have always sat the higher paper. www.hegartymaths.com www.hegartymath...

The only problem for some students is remembering it afterwards [along with all the other parts of a maths syllabus], plus another 5 or 6 subjects which need to be mastered for exams.

You're such an amazing teacher! I wish my maths teacher was like you, but he constantly throws tantrums and screams at us, throws scissors around and scrapes the smartboard until there are huge marks left on it, bullies the students and makes them feel stupid, dOESN'T TEACH WHATSOEVER, you get the point. Anyways, I would give anything to swap him with you, Sir! You have a talent for teaching so efficiently and precisely!

Right angled triangle then either Pythagoras or SoHCaHToA. If have two sides and finding the other then Pythag. If one side and one angle to find a side or two sides to find and angle then SoHCaHToA. If non right angled use Cosine or Sine Rule. If you ever see a side and an angle opposite use the sine rule - otherwise use Cosine Rule (i.e. if have three sides and no angle or two sides with angle between). Hope helps. Good luck revising!
