Hi Alishanmao. I know you have already helped me out so much. I have one more tech question please. I had to order a new Flywing esc for my Huey. Do I need to go in to the h1 program to re do all the speed control settings. Or can i just plug it in and fly?

going for a walk is only optional for those who are just way too concerned about GPS health. I just mostly slap the battery in, power on, wait for green light and start flying. sometimes i do not even wait for gps to lock all, i fly in ATT, 6G or 3D Modes
Hello Ali, i crashed my uh-1, main motor will not start even after recalibration. Does the esc usually fail after a crash? My heli went over on its side damaging the blades and cracking the fuselage on takeoff. Not sure if it was a gps error or what happened.😢
Hello Ali, I also bought the UH1 V3 but had no luck with the copter. After assembling and checking all functions, we went on the maiden flight. The copter started perfectly and stood clean in the air. But then when nicking forward there was a crack and the copter turned uncontrollably to the left and crashed hard. After that I had to realize that the swashplate guide at nick probably touched the canopy forward and a control rod came loose from the swashplate as a result. After contacting Ben from RCgoing he said that this was normal but did not affect the copter. I'm definitely disappointed. My Bell 206 v2, on the other hand, flies great. I would be interested to know whether the swashplate or the linkage on your copter has enough space in 3D mode.
I had swash and linkage touching the shell on AS350 but I am cutting the shell there and making sure they do not touch. This V3 UH1, no such issues on mine. I built it myself you know

Hi buddy, new FW450 V3 stock that you will order, will have new GPS that does not require calibration. i have two FW450 V3s. this is the old one that i converted to airwolf. the new one that I demonstrated recently with main rotor quick release system has new GPS

mostly on the computer and radio together. but once you have a good setting on radio, you do not need to do it again, just on computer to change parameters fro flight controller
Thank you for your continued support. yes you can fly in 3D mode :) no auto leveling and you can do soft 3d aerobatics. but i would recommend carefully tweak the main rotor head pitches to be + - 10 to 11degree at the minimum. try aerobatics or soft 3d at higher altitude first
Can’t the Radio be programmed to move the Stop Switch to the top Right Switch for safety? That’s where Spectrum has there Hold/Cut Switch. I’m used to it automatically.
I also bought the 450L V3 aircraft, and as you mentioned, the 6G and GPS features are very useful, so there's no need for the ATT MODE mode. However, in my country, ATT MODE is used for exams. Although there are GPS exams available, the majority of exams are conducted using the ATT MODE. I kindly request you to provide a video tutorial on how to adjust the H1 to ATT MODE. Thank you very much.
you can't use quick release rotor system, because it will increase lenght of main rotor and they will hit the tail rotor. you can flip and even fly mild 3d with this heli if properly setup
If its flying very well, I would say do not buy anything. unless if you want V3 Shell, Tail motor, tail rotor and new GPS. Thats what I did, I got a new V3 shell, Tail Motor, Tail Rotor, and New GPS. Took out the flight module from older helicopter, slide it in to new shell, install new tail motor and rotor on V3 Shell, connect tail motor to ESC, install and stick new GPS and I have the Huey UH1 V3
Hi Ali, with my FlyWing UH-1 V3 Huey today I made some flights at my flying field. It's a nice helicopter. I didn't touch the preset settings and I noticed that from perfectly still in hovering in GPS mode, the helicopter starts to move forward at a fairly high speed as soon as I switch to ATT mode. Could the Collective Pitch setting be incorrect? Please advise me on how to resolve it. Thank you. Maurice
you mean before arming? you have to hold the rudder down and right, (depending upon setup, some helis might take it down and left to arm motors) when green LED blinks, you can arm the motor via switch

After it found GPS green light was solid, then take the Sticks back-out and green was blinking, start Motor and after Rotor was turning good I start in GPS mode. Heli starts, drifting forward, hit my car and crashes overhead in the grass. What could happen?

I just got an email about the release of Flywings new "V4" Huey. It has a more accurate scale rotor head with a cosmetic fly balance bar. and 4 blade grip connection points with squared off blades . Justike the real Huey. Plus it comes in green or grey civilian look.
I know. since 3-4 months they started testing the system. Of course i was not allowed to share info. but the only upgrade is this updated main rotor head and square blades with holes that connect to rotor head. rest is all same. maybe a different color scheme. so i am not going to get the new heli. instead i just got the new main rotor head and I have shown it in my last live show. i will just install it in my V3 and it will become V4. waiting for the new blades.

(except for electronics) so i have spent enoegh for now. but this one is deffinatly on my list. and then with a set of heli's you can go out to a field and have an hour or 2 of fun. and it's actually worth driving out to a field then
Any idea as to how or where to get the gear lights. I’m literally brand new to this and just started flying several entry level helicopters that have 3-5 lights. I plan to buy this specific Huey helicopter and adding 5 lights (red/white/green would be a huge difference maker. Any help or direction that you could give me would be greatly appreciated. I received my new Huey uh1 V3 last week. Fantastic flier. Super stable. Dramatically better than my previous Huey uh1. Only issue was dead cell in the 5000mah 4S lipo. Flywing is getting better. Still a bit more quality control issues left. This Huey uh1 is absolutely fantastic now!!! 😊

Do you have a solid Green LED? if yes, you need to hold the rudder down and left for few seconds, when LED blinks, arm the motor using the switch
Only tail motor will run,that’s why I was thinking the
esc is damaged?

What are the 5000mah packs c rating ? They seem short for 5000mah at 133mm. I m looking at some 100c 5200 packs and the are 155mm long.

yes its in all these UH1s. the ground resonance causes it. in real helicopters this happens too. try to take off from grass or soft ground

you can program any switch of your choice to stop the motor.

ATT mode disengages GPS and helicopter will move in any direction. you have to control once you are in ATT mode
Do you have a Link to your low battery alarm device? What does it plug into?

walk before flight just to make sure everything is ok. its your choice if you want to do or not

New one coming out V4 with new rotor upgrade or if you install the rotor upgrade to V3 UH1. its more stable
