yes yes... it can be scary during maidens! i did lose an RC plane on its maiden so i know how it feels. but i did in my panic lock the motor instead of switching the flight mode back to auto when i flew manual, and hence this repair that is happening now. haha

Very nice looking scale heli. The details are amazing. Very good review with lots of important info. For beginners this might be a good entry to fly more advanced helicopter you can learn control step by step manually. It's expensive, and for sure expensive to crash. That's of course not the best for beginners!

from what i know the footage of the recording heavely depends on the screen you receive it on. i remember seeing a video where a guy compared 5 of them. and some had horrible recording and others had verry good recording. but in all cases the recording was lower quality than the live view. so. maybe a capture card or something?
yep. the camera isnt very high quality to begin with and the vibrations didnt help. not so sure about the screen but i'm not that into flying fpv so i didnt bother. if i want footage i'd just stick my Insta360 GO 2 on it!

Do you have an FPV display like I did? Or are you referring to pressing the record button on the transmitter? That also did work for me. If you can give me more details then it will be easier for us to work out the solution together?
@@uncleraymond I bought this, YSIDO-Monitor FPV de 5,8G, 40 canales, 7 pulgadas, DVR, batería integrada, 5802D. and I've already tried several instructions that I found and it's simply not possible to start recording on this device with the Transmitter, I think it's meant for a different model or a different type
@@lubosvyleta473 Hmmm... most of these FPV monitors are similar. What I did was switch on the power to the heli first, assuming camera is already attached and the camera should power on with a blue light. After this, switch on the monitor and just do an auto search from the monitor. It should scan through and find the the camera. My heli is still awaiting repair. Let me see if I can take it out from the project pile and try it out again. Else you could always try it with another monitor if you have some lying around.

Hey bro, F11 is more for you if you like the scale look of the thing. Both doesn't have GPS positioning, unless you get the F11S. If it's me, I won't get the F11S as a few hundreds more I can get a bigger scale heli from Roban or FLISHRC, with GPS and it's RTF too!
@@xdravex11 Bro, one is a helicopter you can fly easily without much experience, and the other is a full-fledged RC EDF jet, which one do you think is easier to fly? Haha... If you're good with flying EDF planes, then the F14 is a no-brainer. Good quality too.
Yes. At this price, you're basically paying for its scale details and also the GPS, which is kind of ok for a novice like me. I will perhaps in the near future spend another couple of hundreds on top of this to get a 450 or 500 size heli, with the GPS of course! I'm not into 3D flying though, more interested in scale.
I would have to say no its not worth your money when it struggles to even get a gps signal. Let alone a good signal. So might aswel get the one without gps that allowes for full 3d flight
Hi! So far I haven't had issues with getting a GPS lock, especially when I'm flying at an open space. Considering how satellite signals can be sketchy around an urban landscape like Singapore, I'd say the F09-S has been so good so far. Oh yes if you're into 3D flights, then yes, you'd probably be better off with a Flywing F450 or one of those OMPHOBBY kits.
@@uncleraymond i found a big open space outside of the city. sat it ontop of my car for 10 minutes and had 2 sattalites. set it on the ground for 15 minutes and it had 6 sattalites and cleared itself for flight. took off and it flew nice for a little bit. noticed it acting weird when ever i turn it. (tried to turn in place and it just drifts sideways) untill it started freaking out. could barely steer it past my car. almost hit my leg. few more circles around me. barely managed to get it back under control landed and just went home. earlyer at home trying to test it. i got up to 10 sattalites maybe even 12 at one point. and it wouldn't even clear itself for flight. (also only had those satalites in one tiny specific spot in my yard.) it flies nicely when not using gps. using the bottom sensor it's able to stay in place above grass and i can let go of the controller to film. maybe the netherlands just isn't a place to do this. even though one would expect the big flat country would be great for this. in any case i severely regret buying this thing. they didn't even bother PID tuning the tail rotor propperly for doing the circle. that's an absolutely horrible sound that the tail rotor makes.
@@uncleraymond so unless there are gps modules available that i can replace, this thing has been a waste of my money. because it cannot do the 3d acrobatic flights that the f09 can do. technicly that's the heli i really wanted. don't get me wrong. i love the things that it CAN do. but mine is just a defective unit. and 600 dollars wasn't a good price for a show model.

I remember watching another RC RUclipsr’s maiden on a Flywing Huey, crashing after taking off and it was due to the tail rotor being installed in the reverse direction from factory. Sometimes things like these happen. But we can take pride and joy in the fact that we can diagnose and fix the issues, which is half the fun in this hobby isn’t it? Anyway I wish you well brother and hope your other RCs go well!
Yeah... this is more for noobs like me who's starting out and wants RTF. Technically you could build something better yourself for that price if you have the know-how.

Yes the Insta360 GO 2 camera is "light enough" for this heli. Initially I thought it would throw the balance off but it wasn't that bad.

They are the same. YXZNRC is just an acronym for the company's name in Chinese phonetics.

I think the Flying Wing brand has a metal rotor head while yours is plastic.
Yes, Fly Wing makes different kind of RC helicopters.
Is it capable of maneuver a steep bank turn?
I haven’t tried it but it should be ok because in manual mode the responses are quite good. I will try that once I get mine repaired!
