I've owned this tent for a good while now, used it throughout Scotland & here in the Lake District where I live,it's been a cracking shelter..for the money I personally think it's amazing value, yes there are lighter 2 person tents out there but then again there are plenty of heavier ones too..it's very spacious, great in the wind,it's easy to pitch/dismantle with the inner & outer together..personally I think if this tent came with stronger/thicker poles it would be capable of taking almost everything the UK weather could throw at it..great tent for the price 🏕️
@@iknowyoureright8564 if you search 'cloud peak 2 mods' here on RUclips a guy puts DAC Greens 9.5mm on this tent instead of the standard 8mm aluminium ones it comes with, the tent would be absolutely mint with DAC 9.5mm fitted buddy 👍🏻
Great little tent, I have the same. Little tip, you put the poles up correctly but use the top hook onto the cross bar to hold the other bars down. I put the whole tent including the footprint into an 8 litre dry bag and it stuffs down really small.
i'm a motorcycle camper, and its been several years since i've been able to go out, so this year i'm upgrading all of my gear. this tent has popped up all over the place, so i found one on spring sale through the NatureHike store for $90 USD and i cannot wait to be able to get out in it. im poor (lol) so finding something that is so well loved at such a great price is incredible. thank you for the awesome review! your channel just popped up in my recommendeds and i'll definitely be making my way through your videos!
Good afternoon Adam, and a shred purchase hope it serves you well! Well filmed and commented video as always, covering all the key need to know points, very useful! We think the sheep were cheering you on lol 👍♥️🏕🐑🏴
Been thinking on this one for a good few months now but I think I’ll get me sell one after seeing all the good reviews, loved yours mate, cheers buddy 👍
Believe it or not Adam, I've had this tent for over 2 years now. And I've never done a Review on it lol. It's a cracking tent but has become a very common tent in our community.last time I used it was at cadair idris. I let go of it for a split second while I was putting it up and a gush of wind came along sending it up in the air towards the lake. I managed to grab the pole to rescue it from going in the lake and now it is bent slightly. Bit gutted but still should perform well with a bent pole. Cracking review Adam. I hope you have some great adventures with it fella ohh yeeaahh 👍
Yeah I saw you out in that one looked the business! Remind me to put a couple pegs in before the poles then so it doesn't blow away lol. Nice one pal 👌
I’ve had this tent for a few years now. It’s a great tent, though it doesn’t get that much use these days. Maybe I’ll take it out again soon. Looks like yours has had a bit of a redesign, I don’t think mine has so many zips, but it’s an excellent tent, especially for the price.
Thank you for your review. I think I like this Cloud Peak 2P better than the Cloud Up 2P because it has 2 doors, and it seems to be better suited for 4 seasons with the higher height of material compared to the Cloud Up. I do wonder, however, if wind - and rain - can come into the tent via the small rain fly if the wind is strong enough? Its one drawback is its decidedly heavier weight compared to the Cloud Up 2P, eh?
Glad you liked it I used the cloud up 2 a lot last year and did like it. This one as you say is better to more kinds of weather like stronger winds and rain. Haven't had it in heavy rain yet but I'm sure I will soon!
I have this tent and rate it highly, you can't leave the top canopy on but I tie one corner to the tent with small piece of para cord. Save scratching your head as it only fits one way, nothing worse in driving rain and cold trying to think how it goes.
This is a great tent but I would nt class it as a 4 season tent . NATURE HIKE should be advertising this as a 3 season tent .I've got 4 season tents and they keep me well warm compared to this tent due to them having solid inner with optional ventilation opening which allows the heat to stay within the tent . The inner on the cloud peak 2 might protect you from side winds but loses all warm air through the top . Brilliant video as always though 👏 👌
Ah I see ok mate cheers yeah most tents seem to advertise as 3 season and are basically all mesh. I will probably be in the hot tent for winter this year though
It’s not a bad tent. However, there’s a couple of things I don’t like : 1. The cap flaps a lot in the wind 2. It’s not fire retardant, so one slip of the stove and the tent is gone 3. The mesh makes it cold in the winter. Other than that it’s a good tent!
I have been looking at this tent for ages, it would be this 1 or the helm 2. Chris from The height of life just featured the helm 2 in 1 of his videos and I had almost changed my mind to that but you have me confused again, this is a fantastic tent. Amazon are out of stock again where did you get yours. Cheers for the review. Atb Gus

Hey so did this come in at £118 for you on AliExpress? Mind sharing what the total cost (including delivery and tax) was? I'm strongly tempted by this. I've just had one of these delivered today and it hasn't got t style inner doors. It just falls down to the floor. Anyone who owns one say that's a big deal or not? Concerned they might've cut some other corners in this version. Seems a nice little tent otherwise.
@@MrWildWales Yeah I've seen someone comment elsewhere on YT getting the same one as me. It's hard to tell if its otherwise just as good. Seems ok but I haven't been out in it yet.
