Like the Nike ad used to say: Just do it! I decided to give it a try this year and I love it! By the way, I'm 54 and had never done anything like it before.
Just bought this tent in 2022. Still a useful piece of kit. Set it up in the back garden for a dry run and ended up having an impromptu daddy/daughter camp out. Great tent and easy to set up. Look forward to hauling it up a hill for another under the stars.
Another great video, I spent most of my teen years on Ullswater, motor biking and horse riding all around the fells and water skiing the whole length of the lake back in the day when it was permissible. Thank you your views brought back many memories. Bought your bobble hat too, love it.
Hi Paul Just bought a Cloud Peak 2 after watching your videos. You've really inspired me to get out and try Wild camping. Thank you and keep the videos coming.
£140 versus around £650 for the Hilleberg Soulo - Its a no brainer for what most of us are looking at using it for . Thanks for the upload and detailed review Paul .
Could i ask where you ordered from? Amazon are saying currently unavailable, not knowing when more stock will be in. Hoping to grab one of these tents aswell!
Pretty simple and straightforward setup. Thank you for your reviews. I think it’s probably time for me to upgrade my tent. Beautiful views up there! Thanks for choosing such realistic locations for your great quality videos.
Thank you for this video, I am looking at a new tent for next year and was looking at this and the mongar 2 , I cant afford a hilleberg so I think It will be the cloud peak 2. Thank you Paul.
Only just subbed, and watching all your videos from newest to oldest...mate I'm hooked. Love your equipment reviews etc go into great details. Keep up the amazing work!!
I must of watched this video a dozen times now,I've a plethora of tents but because of this review I finally went & bought the Cloud Peak 2..it only arrived today but I'll be taking it for its maiden pitch within the next 36 hours somewhere in the Lake District 🏞️..not sure on where exactly but it's not like I will be short of options, thanks as always for a thorough informative vid Paul..cheers
You had any experience using it in bad weather, heavy rain, huge winds? I will use it for kayaking the islands on the coast of sweden during winter. It is very hard weather at times.
This a great tent review really get a first hand feel of how it performs in a real hilltop condition, great review. Thanks for pointing out how much you can save buy removing foot print, at 2.1 kg it's worth a little bit more weight and a great price point for a great tent.
I’ve been watching your videos for about a month now. I haven’t camped since I was a kid. I’ve just bit the bullet and bought this tent and a load of new gear. Can’t wait to get out and catch the last of the summer! Cheers paul
Bought this tent based in this review, it has been updated slightly, the clips for the poles are better, instead of the 2 hooks point in same direction they are now at 180 degrees to each other so to clip on pole is a twist and clip. The inner door is now just one zip in one curve.
Interesting. I noticed some purchaser reviews on Aliexpress were complaining that they didn't receive the usual split-door version. I think I'd prefer the older setup.
Hi Paul my son and I watch you’re videos he’s 7 and wants to eventually go camping is this on par with the hilliberg solo and he’s only going to camp first in the back garden and eventually out else were
Great video, no-nonsense explanations of putting up/taking it down . I have a Naturehike Cloud Up 2 which is really good but I liked the idea of bigger vestibules and 2 doors , I’m gonna have one of these so thanks for inspiring me 👍
Nice tent. I have heavy hands so it would be no good for me. I have the new air beam tent so very happy. I sometimes use my smaller pop up tent depending on the type of ground I am camping on. I camp every six weeks in the Lake District. I was camping in Borrowdale this week with my cat and dog. Great fun.
Just splashed out on this tent Paul and the algorithm sent me here (think i may have watched this a long time ago) , Great useful video mate thanks . Thinking it maybe an improvement on my Banshee purely because it`s free standing and the "manoevre" factor is great and it has a much better vestibule than the banshee . Can`t wait for it`s arrival and a roadtest on Dartmoor in some weather
Excellent review Paul, Definitely worth keeping in mind I like the fact that it is free standing and outer goes up first with the inner attached and footprint, Nice touch to mention the quality of the stiching, All to often tent reviews forget to mention how good or poor the stitching is, Looks plenty of room in there for one and good head room to, at present I am using the Luxe Hexpeak V4A, Think its about time I did a review on it, I have a bit of a love hate relationship with it, But its lightweight and does perform well, I see Neil T has stated £140 for the Naturehike Cloud Peak 2, thats a Good price, Cheers Paul, Take Care, Les.
I bought this tent last year its held up to wind and rain pretty well but i haven't yet used it in a serious thunderstorm or snow and not that i want to ha. Im very happy with this tent but i noticed when its raining you gotta keep the doors close because as soon as you open them your getting wet. The rain will fall straight onto your bag rather than the tunnel tents i have. The weight is really good and there's a fair bit of room but if its real misty you may wake up with condensation dripping on you from that outer rain fly that i was amazed at 3am having to wipe my bag. Watch out for the guy lines as i caught mines and ripped the material dam i also didnt tie back the door properly when i thought i did and it blew back hit my stove and has a burnt hole it in now hahaha what a div. Anyways its light weight and strong design has a thumbs up from me. Nice video m8
Paul, can you share your experience when it comes to the problem with rain pouring into the tent when doors opened? Is it the same with Helm 2, which I saw you also own?
Thanks for the review. I recently bought a thin, light race tent for multi-day, long walks (Nordisk Lofoten 2), so I was looking for something larger, with more space/comfort, for when I'm staying a few days in one spot. I watched a couple of reviews and yours sealed the deal. I just bought the Naturehike. I really enjoy your vids. Keep it up. Cheers! Peter.
Hi Paul, a question or 2 for you. 1. How strong wind gusts do you think it could take? Also, if you replaced the poles with DAC 9 or 9.5mm poles would it make much of a differnce to the stability?
Cracking review mate and a beauty of a spot on one of the finest small hills the Lake District has to offer. Looks like a great bit of kit especially how it fully opens up . Could prove a great shelter for UK wildcamps 👌. Anyways keep them coming and catch up soon. Take care mate
Hi Paul - Nice review - I'm very impressed with the Naturehike products in general. I've just completed a review of the Naturehike Cloud UP 3 on my channel and was very impressed with the quality. Very informative video - keep up the good work! Michael
If in area of no rain and hot like desert, Could just hang the inner fly sheet on the hoops. Had similar tent - free standing, use inner only whilst in Spain.
Great review Paul, just ordered one after looking at lots of tents thought for the money i would take a chance instead of paying a lot of money out. My previous tents have included TN ultra lite Quasar and Voyager, be interesting to see how it performs.
Very nice video review. I own one too and like it very much. It is a budget copy of Hilleberg Allak, not Soulo (one door and one vestibule)nor Staika (bigger and vestubules and doors open in opposite direction). The only thing I miss in pretty hot summer climate in Croatia is double door, mesh and fabric layer. This half fabric-half mesh door means poorer ventilation. But, it is still a great value for money! Good work, Paul!
A well made and comprehensive review. Just snagged a blue one for 130 pounds.. Cant wait to try it out.. Heads up I recommend the Naturehike Opalus 3 for 2 people and dogs.. I found the NH Hiby 3 to be an excellent choice as well.Subbed great channel..
Nice review Paul..looks a good solid tent & can see where it resembles the higher end tent your'e refering to but like you say with the panels not quite touching the ground spin drift in winter would be a problem,so maybe not quite 4 season.certainly looks a good option for 3 season though & for the money..looked a good night up there too although busy,is a popular spot up Hallin Fell for a small un but with those views why not eh..nice to see the essentials too ;-)..tfs mate..Andy.
My life needs changing. I want to be doing this stuff.
Like the Nike ad used to say: Just do it! I decided to give it a try this year and I love it! By the way, I'm 54 and had never done anything like it before.
This is where I am now. I need something fun.
Did you do it?
Chris Homer did I hell. Spent 3 hours last night playing god of war on ps4 lol
John Gear hahahahaha hahahahaha hahaha
Just bought this tent in 2022. Still a useful piece of kit. Set it up in the back garden for a dry run and ended up having an impromptu daddy/daughter camp out. Great tent and easy to set up. Look forward to hauling it up a hill for another under the stars.
Cheers Paul, watched this video about 6 times before buying a Cloud Peak 2 myself!
Brilliant video, just bought one, first time camping in 40 years!
Another great video, I spent most of my teen years on Ullswater, motor biking and horse riding all around the fells and water skiing the whole length of the lake back in the day when it was permissible. Thank you your views brought back many memories.
Bought your bobble hat too, love it.
Love this video, super helpful. I've bought naturehike but have no instructions plus I'm a total beginner. Will definitely help me👍🏻💕
Good video thanks mate must have watched it 10 times to make up my mind and get the tent 👍
My family love snowdonia & the Peak District. We have never been wild camping before & are looking into it. This review is really helpful.
Those opening views - good for the soul, Paul.
Hi Paul

I agree Neil. It's at a price that most people would be tempted. Thanks for watching
Yes that's what I thought. 😁
Just ordered this, this video is by far the best in terms of how to erect the tent
Could i ask where you ordered from? Amazon are saying currently unavailable, not knowing when more stock will be in. Hoping to grab one of these tents aswell!

I really love the UK countryside. Backpacking in Scotland sounds good up in the Highlands. Cheers
Pretty simple and straightforward setup. Thank you for your reviews. I think it’s probably time for me to upgrade my tent.
Beautiful views up there!
Thanks for choosing such realistic locations for your great quality videos.
Probably the best video on RUclips for this tent, and I've pretty much watched them all. Thank you.
Just ordered mine based on this review. Well priced and all other reviews ive looked rate it highly, even in medium UK snow. cheers
Glad to have helped
Love watching your videos bud. Keep em coming. Jeff from Michigan USA.
Thank you for this video, I am looking at a new tent for next year and was looking at this and the mongar 2 , I cant afford a hilleberg so I think It will be the cloud peak 2. Thank you Paul.
really tempted to get this, seems very sturdy, spacious, not too heavy, packs pretty small and the price is quite attractive as well
14:19 hahahaha liked it paul!! "essentials"
Love that wee song thanks for reminding me of it
Finaly i choose and bought N/H colud peak 2. Your review was very helpful for my decision. Thanks Paul !
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. Thanks for watching
Really appreciate your videos Paul. They are very comprehensive and informative and I have really found them useful in decision making around kit.

Great set up. I like how you get the view and privacy with fly rolled back but zips closed
I got the rarely seen Indigo blue version Awesome tent .. Great review..
What do you think of the blue compared to a green
Quality currently getting my list in order camping ain't cheap cant wait to give it a whirl either peak or Scotland

There might have been other wild campers but you definitely had the prime spot.
Hey, your tent pitch shows up as the image on the US amazon! Currently look at this and some of Naturehike's other tents :)
Hi. NICE. NICE. CAMPING. VIDEO.
i like this tent
Bought this tent based in this review, it has been updated slightly, the clips for the poles are better, instead of the 2 hooks point in same direction they are now at 180 degrees to each other so to clip on pole is a twist and clip. The inner door is now just one zip in one curve.

Naturehike store on Amazon are using a still shot from your video on their sales page for this tent.
Good job on the footage well shot.
What an elegant and roomy tent. I am very impressed. It looks really comfortable.
Yep you answered the question further in, thanks!!

Yes, Cloud peak 2 is perfect for Ireland in most weather and terrain. Collins outdoorss prices are good, I have purchased one for winter
cracking tent for the money, so good that they are all sold out, another great vid mate, ATB Kaizer
Cheers Kaiser. You can get them from other places if you look on the net. Thank you for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Would be ideal to see this comparison im struggling to decide which way to go
Same here looking at getting into camping and I’m torn between these 2 tents as too which to purchase
@@andrewbrown8474 if it isn't too late I've had both of those tents mentioned and the Helm 2 is altogether better.
I got a cloud up 2 but tempted to grab one of these as well this looks way better for two people
Excellent! Good one Paul, I never thought about separating the poles from the tent for storage. I’m using an REI Passage II.
Just ordered myself Cloud Peak after seeing your review Paul. See you on the hill! 🏔
great weather, nice footage, great delivery

Great detailed review. Getting busy up the hills eh. There will be a bloke in a white cow gown and satchel next time charging for camping. 😀
Why didn't i think of that. I could have charged a tenner a night for a pitch with those views. ATB

Does any one Know what the lenght of the poles folded looking to buy but need to check the folded size thanks
Cloud Peak 2 or Wild Country Helm 2, which would you have ?
Or another 2 person tent for UK use only ?
Me and my boyfriend use the CZ-1516
