- Hey guys, today we are taking a look at the list of new Dodge Direct Connection performance parts. Dodge released more details, including Tuner and Stage Kits for the Hellcat and Hellcat Redeye, Challenger upgrade Kits, Drag Pak Packages, Mopar Crate Engines, and more. So today we are going through and seeing what’s available! Dodge has released a massive 108-page 2022 e-catalog showing all the various parts and crate engines.

DIRECT CONNECTION OVERVIEW
A few weeks ago, when we covered Dodge’s 24 Months of Muscle Program, Dodge talked about the Direct Connection performance parts, which were first introduced in 1974 to help Dodge owners get more performance out of their classic muscle cars. The program offered OEM secrets from within, like manuals, advice, service, and performance parts all backed by the brand. In 1987, it was renamed to Mopar Performance Parts, but now Direct Connection is back again exclusively at Dodge Power Broker dealers. Direct Connection will offer a full line of factory-tuned and developed performance parts and kits that won’t violate the warranty.

So now you can get factory parts to mod your Dart into a SRT4 street rod? Sounds interesting, if that's the case. Too bad Dodge didn't go through with the plans to offer such parts when the Dart was in production.
All I saw was a Dart Big Brake Kit and Cold Air Intake Kit. Most of the stuff is charger/challenger focused. Yeah I always wanted to see an SRT4 too bad they didn’t follow through
@@MarspeedCars Ah well, there's probably enough aftermarket specialty parts out there for any Dart aficionado to make their car into a street rod. It's interesting that Dodge has a couple of mods for the Dart, and even the Neon, as you mentioned. Too bad they didn't include the Magnum and Caliber.

No other car maker is doing what Mopar is doing, that's why they're on top of the game right now.

It seems cool, but based on the comments, these performance packages aren't priced competitively with the aftermarket stuff available. The main selling point here is the retention of the factory warranty. Unfortunately, I'm not in the position to go either route, lol.
My dream is to buy a challenger hellcat redeye with the sexy TorRed color and just wake up in the morning to hear that cold start and that awesome supercharger whine 😢💔
So here we are on October 4, 2022, and none of the Power Brokers in my area have any of the tuner kits for a Hellcat. Didn't have any in April, didn't have any in July...when will be able to get these parts?

Yeah lots of stuff for all challengers, strut tower braces, sway bars, springs, cold air intake, lots of stuff from this video like hellcat hood and fascia
@@MarspeedCars Where are the power adding mods for 392's? Any tunes? Alot of us don't need hellcat hoods, strut tower braces, cold air intakes especially scatpack widebody owners. Where are the real performance mods?

Says the rear diff is only good for 2015 and up V8s with the automatic tranny. It would have to be an older 3.09 to fit in the 06-10s

They can't do that. If they supercharged the 3.6, it would give the Hellcat on hell of a run for it's money. I know, I have one.
Dodge released an OE Hellcat Widebody kit for $2500. It does mandate cutting the rear quarter panels. As expected the fit is OE perfect and when finished the car is indistinguishable from a real factory widebody Hellcat. I have the kit in my garage and now I am on the hunt for a qualified installer that I can trust to do this correctly. Estimated install time is 40 hours plus paint. My Hellcat is garage kept and has 4800 miles on the clock. Paint is plain white so I should not have to blend the doors. I am in Boca Raton. Any qualified shops please give me a shout out.

@Scotty secretly loves Chryslers then something was wrong with his car. An 89 civic brand new cant beat a 1st gen Neon let alone a SRT4. With that said I'd rather have a EF civic hatch with a H22 swap than a SRT4.

Why not bring back the true wagon. You know the Magnum. Have had to rebuild my 05 awd 5.7 it just bolt on's it will turn a little over 500. Mtr alone is 415 from S and J. Rebuilders. My tranny is factory 5 spd from Mercedes Benz. I don't race to old. But do love power when needed. Lets just have a strong return of a great machine with all the updates possable. Spokane
Why don’t the make a complete electric locker in the rear diff - like a Jeep locker so both rear wheels have zero slip zero side to side both tires go the same speed.

Has anyone noticed they're doing all this just in time to get rid of the cars? Where were all these parts when the Hellcat first came out? What game are they playing here?
Playing the game of opening the parts bin while they can before the next gen 😅 it was part of the business strategy though. Slowly upgrading to keep people spending money, first regular Hellcat, then Widebody, then Redeye. If you wanted it you had to pay for it. Now with these parts you can finally tweak things for cheaper, AFTER they sold all the models to those with money.
Creating the team to put together the catalog and the product designated part numbers designating production quantities aligning dealers to the plan all has taken significantly longer than estimated. First looks of this we’re back in 2019
