I turned 68 today and have spent much time alone in my life, including periods of extended solitude. I have found that when I am alone I have time to think my own thoughts and to be mindfully open to the creative energy that flows through me. It takes time to contemplate and work with creative energy, and not everyone is in a phase of their life where they can devote as much time as I do to this process. (Such as when my four kids were growing up, or when I went back to school as a single mom at age thirty, or when I was teaching full time.) But I am in that place now and it is a magical and mystical place to be!

Loved this. So wonderful to see you so happy and fulfilled in your practice. It really is infectious! I have been alone with my children for quite a few years now and have my struggles with loneliness. But I am trying to embrace it and focus on being fulfilled with and in myself and focusing on the things I love and my own practice. I got the Haunted Manor Oracle and adore it! There are some things that have surprised me, for example that she shows me how to be vulnerable in my body and my emotions. Which in a way makes sense, because if you are fiercly independent, you can allow yourself that vulnerability while still feeling safe in your body. Because you know that YOU have got your own back ❤

I’m also enjoying connecting freely with my spirituality but need advice on releasing the need to make others comfortable.. I used to be proud but now I don’t even see myself opening up to others who are into it too. Is that a bad thing?
