Just now realizing why this episode is titled "Kuku"
Or why she was the one who got that drawing.
Wait why? If its not a manga spoiler can u please tell me
@@Mmm-le9dp It's a manga spoiler yes, because it's confirmed there, but one you can guess from the content of season 1.

Kuku is the fish Hiruko.
love how as soon as they said "mitsuba" you immediately wrote it down and made a mental note only for it to be a dud in the end 😂😂😂
35:25 Yes! How do you catch details that I haven't even paid attention after so much rewatches? You are so good at analysing things so far, it's kind of scary. Watching the review part is the most interesting part, because you are both really impressive in terms of observational and analytical skills.
One of the best things about this show is that it doesn't hold your hand and trusts you to notice clues and figure it out yourself. When the first season ended I initially missed one of the the "reveals" if you want to call it that because of how subtle it was but then my brain started braining and it instantly became my anime of the season.
While I completely agree on what you're saying, I feel like in some things this show goes a bit too far, some of the "reveals" are too obtuse to notice unless you already know them.
At least that is the feeling I got when I first watched it, and this is coming from someone who loves deep shows full of details that get better the more you dig into them.
@@Adirbal Not really, but the monthly manga release helps make things more manageable to digest. We need to keep in mind how the source material is supposed to be experienced. Regardless, I think the anime does a good job of being entertaining even if you don't get those connections.
I don't think some plot points were meant to be noticed if not in a rewatch. I think it's done as natural as it could be without thinking of an external observer. We just watch events unfold without them happening for us, of course as a piece of fiction it has to be done for us and that's why there are some "mysteries" for us to unfold. There are also other pieces of story that are inevitably connected, not for us to know but because the world in which they happen is alive, cohesive and coherent.
@@vegpedro7632 The author has stated the manga is meant to be reread, and he wrote it thinking about it. The anime should be the same.
@@limede didn't know about that but yeah, that's what makes more sense. It's a very "meta" way of presenting your creation. We don't completely understand the world along with the characters but by ourselves using the reread value of the work. Thanks for the info!

Ah yes! Finally watching one of the most underrated shows of all time.
Anna's face at the end, man 💀
A bunch of curious kids (characters) in a show full of mysteries, subarashi. The animation is really good.
Wonderful reaction, you truly appreciate everything the show has to offer, with both the writing and production! It somehow feels so dense with detail, yet also so human - these characters don't feel like 'plot devices'.
I can't explain how much I love your reactions to these types of shows!
If they had paused at the camera scene (when Tokio and Kuku are at the babies), then they could have seen that the date of the recording was *right there*. If you're someone who pays a but of attention and looks for details, then you could have figured out one of the main reveals of the show right by episode 4. I love stories that reward you for paying attention.
And I'm also glad that they don't read comments before finishing the show so we can talk about spoilers lol.
they dont read the comments before finishing the show? nice
Not really, the year (the first number, year/month/day) is set on their own era system at the academy (Ten'ei era), hence the t prefix.
*closes eyes and plugs ears* And then they all lived happily ever after!
I'm so happy ya'll are watching this
It's interesting that you focus on the circles in your discussion. Maru in Japanese means circle.
Since we are talking about rings on Maru's jacket, you may want to try googling what does the word "maru" means in japanese.
Glad that they fixed the delay problem it seems
Great reaction!
I pray this show gets a second season
Its funny to me they didnt focus on crossbreed super human idea.
Thats where my mind go instantly and im sure a safe bet.
My first theory back then is the whole facility made to observe if they can control this super human that supposed to be their main weapon against the monster outside, and the disease is a genetic defect that only appear on crossbreed that not able to gain super power.
Maru and the girl originally with him must also from facility, but a different one.
ここからすごく面白くなるよ。
Day 20 of asking Anna and Ben to watch Dungeon Meshi
the author of this manga loves detective story. and this show is also like ditective story .take note and think what that clue means.
Thank you for your always enjoyable reactions.😃
Now, in this 4th episode I felt uncomfortable with the title "Kuku".🤔
Certainly Kuku shows up first, but why this title?🤨
I don't think that this episode was a Kuku-specific story.😮
This is the only episode 4 that I have ever and will ever feel uncomfortable with the title.😅
If I watch until episode 13, this discomfort may disappear.🙂
I was surprised that you two had a great discussion on this point as well.😳
You two also understand the theme of this episode.🤗
Each episode has its own theme.
You two have done a great job of considering that as well, which is wonderful.🤩
In this episode, you mentioned that feelings of liking are created even though they are not taught.🙁
It is also connected to the ugly aspects of possessiveness and dominance.😟
Love stories should not only be beautiful and enjoyable as expressed in other anime.🙁
You two have read it well and deeply, and if you continue to watch it as it is, I think you will enjoy this anime to the fullest, even the overthinking part.😁
I look forward to seeing your reactions to the next episode.😊
P.S.
In episodes 2 and 3, the topic of marijuana, which is a hot topic not only in Japan but around the world, is mentioned.😐
I think this is a thought-provoking section on a contemporary issue.🤔
Fuuuuuck. That conversation between Mimihime and Shiro.
Day 8 of asking for cowboy bebop reactions.
you can just wait for their polls and stuff
i havent seen that anime, but i know its a classic, there are so many anime and shows people want them to watch and are on standby like monster, house of the dragon s2, blue lock that by the time their schedule opens up a little bit and a polls comes up every 3,4,5 months... new stuff has recently been released and the masses on the bandwagon of the hype shiny new show always overpower the votes and thus the likelihood of older shows to win a poll is reduce to (if lucky) 1 every 5 months, so best scenario it's going to take them years to get to a classic, and a more realistic scenario is any given classic is never going to be watched cuz of the constant releases of new shows plus additional seasons of already watched shows... a never ending cycle.
@@EgoJinpachi_ true but bakemonogatari and madoka are over a decade old and made it onto the polls and begging in the comments won't help when they are already flooded with recs
@@limini5656 where can I vote for the polls
@@Chosobestbrother in the RUclips community tab and the top three from that poll get polled again on their Patreon
Right now there is no active poll
Disney is buying heavenly delusions
please no
I agree Disney has ruined Star Wars for everyone
I’m rioting if they do
I'm definitely cautious, but at the same time, I was pseudo-convinced we would never see another season. So, for me at least, it's a bit of an "any news is good news" sort of scenario.
Edit: Actually, where did you hear this news? I just did a quick Google search and couldn't find anything, but maybe I just missed it.
@@eliasfitzgerald1786 I mean I get that, but I just don’t wanna see Disney ruin such an amazing story by changing material to ‘fit better with modern audiences’ .-.
