Lee sure looks like he wants to be anywhere but at this video shoot. By the way, this video would’ve been way more interesting if it would’ve been shot on some restaurant’s deck overlooking the waterfront. Not in some boring conference room. Just sayin.
Just ran across your channel. My dad first brought us kids to The Keys & KW in 1970, plus or minus a year. In your 5 decades of history there you must've acquired a wealth of knowledge. I'm jogging my memory but can't recall this one: When Old-7 had the crash & fire that killed the bridge operator and left the swing-span damaged, it sped-up the opening-timeline of the new bridge. How many weeks did it take before private vehicles were allowed over that stretch of water again? For how long were the Lower Keys cut off from the mainland?

Had a fav (I only use Redfin as a starting point) in Key Colony till I found out they do NOT have USPS mail delivery to residences, so, looking elsewhere.

I moved away from the Tavernier area because "Miami" had taken over. I was carrying a .45 Glock just to walk my dog at the front of my property. It's a paradise lost to the crazies...I mean I couldn't go to the grocery store without some kind of confrontation with the crazies. They have no respect for the environment, driving, or you ! By the way....Learn to speak Spanish if you move down there.
I guess the folks that made this video are realtors so of course they present it as a great place....I would to for those kinda commissions !!!
My advice is to really do you homework first before laying down that kinda money thinking it's a hidden gem.

Respectfully, have you ever listened to your videos? The intro starts out annoyingly loud, then you swap between the soft-spoken older couple and the young gentleman who seems to have the sole microphone in his shirt pocket. I find myself constantly fiddling with the TV volume. Really ruins the video.
I agree. One seems to have a mic and the other don't. Have to turn the radio up to max to hear them through the speakers. Then another video plays and I forget to turn it down.

I was a victim of an attempted assault. Unfortunately, I, the victim, was arrested due to investigatory negligence by the Monroe County Sherriff’s Office. There were cameras pointing in the direction of where the incident occurred. There were signs next to the front gate that stated the property is under cameras surveillance. The arresting deputy, however, wrote in the arrest report "I did not see cameras . He lied ! The deputy did not ask anybody if there were cameras there , he did not looked for them . While being transported to jail , I informed the deputy that there were cameras on the property. I asked the deputy to collect the video surveillance. That request was ignored. The next day, I requested that the fence that is integral to this incident be examined for fingerprints. This is important because the position of the fingerprints would have demonstrated that the aggressor climbed the fence to the top . The request was again ignored. The Sheriff deputies could not comprehend out how the aggressor climbed the fence. Climbing that particular fence for a fit men is actually easy. I would say a twelve year old boy could do it . Because the sheriff deputy wrongly believed it was impossible to climb the fence he stopped further investigating the case , he did not believe my version of events and did not collect any evidence of fence climbing . The deputies were easily manipulated by a perpetrator with a criminal record who arrived in the keys 4 weeks before the incident occurred. I am a 23 year resident in the keys with an absolutely clean record . Deputies exhibited no common sense whatsoever in this case. Not one sheriff deputy who arrived was older and experienced . The botched investigation resulted in the victim being arrested and the dangerous criminal let go !!!! . No evidence was collected by the Sherriff’s Office , making it now difficult for the court to establish the truth. I was forced to search and obtain evidence myself. Some evidence was luckily collected in the last moments before it was erased and disappeared forever. It should not be a luck but professional investigation which obtains evidence. I have already filed a complaint against the sheriff’s department . No response was given (Not collecting evidence really amounts to destroying evidence ) . State attorney Denis Ward was also notified, he is completely worthless. The Prosecutor assigned in this case is continuing this case on a ridiculous presumption that climbing fence was not possible. Me a 59 year old men created a video showing how easy it is to climb this kind of fence , I did it in 2 seconds !!! . Everything stated here I can support with photos and videos .This incompetence is wasting taxpayer's money and judicial resources . I can only say sarcastically that people should not call the sheriff's department when bank robbery is occurring because they will arrest the bank clerk instead of the bank robber .......................... My reputation had been also damaged by media's employee of sheriff department who published only side of the story of attacker , my side of the story was ignored . When I protested of such unfair treatment I got response " We are sorry but we cannot retract article ".. My advice to the public anything you hear from sheriff department take with a pinch of salt , looks to me like they are more interested in sensationalism and making themselves look like heroes instead of fighting for truth and justice . Electing state attorney Denis Ward was a big mistake he surrounded himself with uneducated incompetent people . I delivered to state attorney Denis Ward video to help them educate themselves on how do you climb fence . How is arresting people who defend themselves is supposed to make us safer ? I am asking for assistance in this case it is costing me tens of thousand of $ to procced in this case ,meanwhile those incompetent people are receiving large salaries while delivering incompetent results .We need to remove such incompetent people from office and this includes Denis Ward or at list send them back to school .

So in a nutshell, if you have a big ass boat, if you don't care that the Keys are being destroyed for your convenience so you don't have to stay in a peasant's hovel when you visit there, buy a McMansion. McMansion is a derogatory term, by the way, but sure - gloat about how great it is. Screw all you greedy guts who suck the life out of paradise for your own profit.
