Norfolk canyon is my main fishing grounds and everyone tells me i need to get a viking 56 or bigger. i really love the contender you have and was wondering would you run that boat offshore here in VA. this might be a dumb question but i love this channel and respect any and all of your input.
@@AZGOLF the contender would have absolutely no problem running the canyon. you absolutely don't "need" a 56+ but of course the level of comfort grows as it gets bigger so if you have the resources i don't think you'll regret going bigger.
@@Fj4LiFe23 i went with a contender due to how fast it can get me there and back. i blow by the bigger offshore boats on the way out and in. finding the grass line is pretty easy from the tower it has.
@@AZGOLFabsolutely not!!!! Chesapeake Bay gets swells of 13 feet. Weather timing you can take a gheenoe. Get a Chesapeake dead rise for that area with a diesel.

I absolutely loved all the under water footage u put in this video!!! Especially at timestamp 10:41, u need to do some footage like that in the ole 39 contender!! I think one motor looked killer taking off like that under water, I could only imagine what those 3 Verados would look like!!! Awesome video though in general, I liked how u explained everything and could u possibly do a knot tying video? I follow a couple people that do a lot of fishing and none of them have a knot tying video and I’ve asked them as well and no one has responded to me yet about doing a video like that!! Came across your channel just yesterday, my wife and I (mainly me 😂) can not stop watching your videos and we don’t even fish! Lol We’re from Miami but we’re on our honeymoon in Panama City beach and saw for the first time some folks catching fish back to back from a pier and were so amazed. We’ve been talking about how cool it is to live a self-sustainable life where you catch and cook your own meals, it’s just the way to go. I’d love to see a video breaking down some basics or maybe just price breakdowns if you don’t already have videos like that. I love the offshore small boat you got. I don’t even own a rod but watching you and your wife’s lifestyle is really motivating.

I ran across your scalloping in Crystal River and that's where I want to go first. I would like to see more on how you catch bait and fish for the different species you are catching. Also would like to see more jet ski fishing and snorkeling video's.
It has been amazing watching this channel grow over the past year or so! When I would go down to the keys a couple years back, we had a great boat, however, with being at the pool so much, I did a lot of pier fishing (Key Colony Beach, Marathon). I know it may not be near as much fun but could you guys do a video on it (kayak fishing, paddleboard fishing, etc.)? Hoping that the border opens soon so we can come back down ASAP.
