Now we are taking just our son to DL for a bday trip in September and I was panicking that I would have to learn a whole new system! It looks about the same minus the only being able to book when you first enter the park!
No limits except that you can’t book another until you either have checked into the ride, or 2 hours has passed since you made the booking, whichever comes first. You can’t book anything until you are scanned into the park. If you’re not early some rides can get booked out to pretty late in the day.
Im getting 4 days worth of tickets from costco but there is only an option to buy lightning fast pass for all 4 days would be nice to only pick for 2 days
Pirates is still available, even before Space Mountain entered refurbishment. I think it’ll leave the Lightning Lane program once Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens, but we’ll see!

Great question! Sometimes it does. Right now, virtual queue is only used for World of Color and drops at noon. However, Haunted Mansion will temporarily use a virtual queue when it reopens this summer. I also expect that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will use one, too. I’ll update about those on my channel when we have details.

The rule is, if you book a Lightning Lane, you can book another once you’ve used the first one. However, you can book a second Lightning Lane after two hours if you LL isn’t for a while. For example, if you book Indiana Jones at 12pm but your LL isn’t until 6pm, then you can book another LL for a different ride after 2pm. At that point you would see 2 LL reservations in your app.

It depends on the day but often you’ll find that doing that means you’ll book fewer of the popular rides like Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy

No problem! There are single rider lines for some rides. Search “Single Rider” in the Disneyland app for the locations

You could go on the ride again but you couldn’t book a Lightning lane for it. You can only book one Lightning Lane per ride per day

I love that perk! At Walt Disney World, you do get PhotoPass downloads from rides though. Just not the Disney photographers
