We missed you guys by 1 day! And we are normally there the 10th and 11th every year for my birthday. Of course the one year we go a couple days later 😂 Thanks to the slots, we were able to work the LL service our whole trip
Rob, your content is the perfect balance of how to information and commentary without any extra fluff. Will always be our go to for Disney Park logistics.
Hi Rob and Erick, So glad you got the chance to explain the experience redemption system , it actually is my favorite way to “ play the slots” when I’m at Disneyland. I look for rides that are temporarily closed that have pretty close availability times and hope I luck into an experience redemption pass. If the ride comes back up and it isn’t really a high interest I can always modify to something else but having a number of experience redemptions is so convenient! Our best experience was on last Easter Sunday when we scored six. Very satisfying. I also like that the lightning lane system at Disneyland included any photopass opportunity not just ride photos. Oh, and it’s not part of lightning lane but we’re big fans of the single rider lines at radiator springs.
That was such a Magical Day! It seems like the Disneyland cast members went out of their ways to create a lot of Magic. Another great video gentlemen!❤
This is the best, most informative, Disneyland planning video that I have seen to date. Your real-time use of Lightning Lane during this video is exactly what is needed for anyone who is planning a trip to Disneyland. Thank you for your very well presented experience and very well explained tips. I feel better about my upcoming trip to D-land already. Thank you very much!
Thank you!!! I found this video extrememly helpful. so many others speak too quickly and they will mix their own words then I am thoroughly confused. You were clear and gave examples of what you meant through application. I really loved this video. I am looking for a vid that has the highest demanded rides. Which rices would be best for early entry and which are best for rope drop. Then the obvious which rides are pretty much available throughout the day. Thank you and I love your Mickey ears!!!
Rob! It was so fun seeing you in Orlando at Epcot! You had such a cheery personality and I was just stoked to have the opportunity to meet you! Thanks for all the tips and tricks and the Ear Scouts pin… it has earned a prime time spot on my Disney bag! Truly, I hope you have some fun in the parks! - Gavin from the France Pavilion
Man I know I’m late to joining this video but the cast members were so awesome in this video for you guys. This was an amazing video I will use it on my next trip to Disneyland I’m sure.
Another great video! Thanks for your positivity and enthusiasm. We’re Orlando vets, but this makes me want to try Disneyland too! It was a pleasure to have met you both last week at Epcot. Thanks for taking the time to say hello! Hope you enjoyed your evening there!
Ok I recently watched an interview w you on another channel--I had NO idea you've been vlogging only a few years!!! You are the BEST and its on my bucket list to meet you at DW! (Or DL!!!)
What an amazing video!! Thank you so much ☺️ The number of rides going down is a bummer. I don’t think that happens often in Orlando. Hope the CM got a cast compliment at Mickey Runaway Railway 😊
We will be at DLR this Thursday and this video was so helpful. I can’t wait to get back to my favorite place of all time. We only have one park day so we’ve got to make the most of lanes…
I’m not going to lie, it was a very unique experience and our tour CM was amazing! We left her a CM compliment for her amazing tour. Thanks for watching!
Rob, thank you so much. We are heading to Disneyland in a few days and have not been since the conversion over to the Lighting Lane. We have used Genie before and of course the old "fast pass" system. My question for you is when you entered California Adventure as part of your early admission you were allowed to go Radiator Springs BEFORE the 8a parking opening. How did you do that? Normally they have barriers set up at the through points to get to the majority of the rides and don't drop those ropes until the park opens for the general population. Did this recently change? If NO which path did you take to get to Radiator springs. Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you again for your video it helped me with a lot of new tips on how to use Lighting Lane Multi Ride Pass and how to run the slot machines.
Thank you! I appreciated the way you explained the process by using the step by step process which is very helpful. I do have a question but I’m sure you mentioned it, so the only way to ride the Haunted Mansion is only by using the Lightning Lane to get a Virtual Que for it or get ther first thing in the morning or while the fireworks are goin on? Again thank you so much!
This is a wonderful video on Disneyland multipass! Much better than the content creators that are based in CA. Your tips and explanation are so good that it will prepare anyone heading to CA for a great trip! As a west coaster, I hope you will keep coming out to Disneyland for more content. :)
You saved us for our WDW trip in May. Now you are going to help me rock our son’s special 13th bday trip with only mom and dad. We are also doing universal so we only have one day to park hop at DL and DCA. Question: Can I be stacking LL’s for DL while I’m in DCA? I’m thinking yes as long as the return time is after 11am….
Love ALL your videos! They are the best! But, will you please make a lightening lane tips video like this one for Disney World’s Magic Kingdom? And post it before October 24th PLEASE? I’ve gotta make my first three reservations on October 25th. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Hi Rob and Erick! Any chance you might be planning any videos on: 1. A food and wine 2024 2. A park day at DW with the new system? We are coming the second week of Nov and you’re the only way to get prepared, yours are the best Disney videos on RUclips hands down!
Nice job on this video. Very informative, but I have one question. Is it best to use one Disney account on both our phones or two separate accoounts. I know boh phones can be linked to the tickets but not sure if using our single accoont or wife creating another is best. Thanks!
Hi Ray - thanks for watching! Either method works. We typically use separate accounts that are linked as that is the “correct” way to do it, but you can always use the same account on multiple devices if that works better for you.
Yes i go to Disneyland in 5 weeks!! You’re a life saver, I thought if you pre-purchased multipass when you bought your tickets you could book LL before scanning in? x
Hi! I love your videos! Can you do a video showing where to stay in Disneyland! It is my daughter 15th birthday and I would like to stay in a special Disneyland Hotel! Thank you very much! Kisses Dani
Love your videos Rob! We’re going to Disneyland for the first time this weekend so this video was ever so perfectly timed! Quick question - I know we have to tap into the park to start booking LL but does everyone in your party need to? For example, if I walk over and tap in can I book for me and my partner if he stays in bed? Haha thanks for all your wonderful work!! ❤
Hello TarBear88! First of all, thank you so much for watching. The answer to your question is: Yes, everyone has to tap-in at the entrance in order for you to be able to book for everyone.
41:52 Since BOTH experience redemptions would work on Roger Rabbit, how do you make sure you don’t accidentally use the one for Matterhorn instead of the lower tier one?
Rob, I was in WDW last week after one year of watching your Videos. Thank you for all your help. It was so great. The only thing that I was missing is running into you somewhere 😉 The lightning lane booking was really easy in this week. I was able to book tear 1 rides late in the evening. Even the "my day" modification to pin rides on the top was not neccessary. Rope drop wouldn't have been neccessary at all. We did it anyway😂. But after our trip I have two questions First: is Eric a MemoryMaker Photograph? I am not sure if he took our photo in front of the haunted mansion on the 28th of August. 😊 Second: I really thought it is possible to book a virtual queue for e.g. tron, tiana or GotG twice a day. But for tron I did experience that when we got to the ride in the morning the App showed at 1 PM no one of my party is eleightable to book this ride... did I do something wrong or is it possible to ride it only once a day? Again thank you for all your tips and tricks
Hello Mathias! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to let us know how your trip went - we really appreciate it! We are happy to read that you had an amazing time during your visit. Answering your questions: Yes, I am. I hope I got some good photos for you :P 2. Since the VQ for Tron will be going away soon, I will give the example with Guardians: • You can book a VQ Once. Unless you are staying for an event in the parks (like Extended Evening Hours) then you will have another opportunity at 6 pm.
Oh boy... If I only knew 😢 then I would have taken a photo from you 😉. After you took our photos I realized "Hey this guy looked like Eric". So i asked my son to run back and check your name tag but you were already shooting the next family... sooo sad... you meet your Favorit youtuber and you realize it too late 😢
Can you modify the Haunted Virtual queue once you have made it? Is it best to do the 7am quere? What if you start in CA Land and you can't hop over to DL until 11am, but you queue gives you an earlier time?
Hi Rob! Our family has been waiting on the edge of our seats for your Disneyland video. We met you a few times at WDW, and knew we’d visit DLR before your planned visit. The whole time at DLR, we wondered “what would Rob and Erick think about using LL for this ride”. To be honest, we were surprised by how many rides at Disneyland that are not bookable in LL. And, with all the single rider line options for popular rides at DCA, we thought LL is way more necessary at WDW than DLR. What do you think?
if you use an experience redemption at a different attraction then originally booked for example goofys. Can you go back and book goofys again. Or if you want to ride the ride that's down do you need to save it for that specific ride since you can't book rides 2x? thanks.
Hi Jessica! At present, no - not unless you first tap in at the park and then head back to the hotel. I have heard a rumor that Disneyland may change it to be more like WDW and allow advance booking of some kind. 🤞
Not even going to disneyland probably ever. Still watching.
Thanks so much, David! We hope you enjoyed it. 😃
😂same! Obsessed w/ his videos. No one compares
We missed you guys by 1 day! And we are normally there the 10th and 11th every year for my birthday. Of course the one year we go a couple days later 😂 Thanks to the slots, we were able to work the LL service our whole trip

Thanks so much! 😊
That cast member at Runaway Railway was a gem!! 💎💎💎
I love how you answer my questions without me ever asking! Were you a teacher in a past life or something?! lol. Thanks much!
Hi Rob and Erick, So glad you got the chance to explain the experience redemption system , it actually is my favorite way to “ play the slots” when I’m at Disneyland. Perfect! You helped me rock Genie+ in 2023 at DW and I’m planning to go to DL & DCA in 2024 so this video is right on time. Thanks Rob😊
I’m heading there tomorrow and I am SO thankful you posted this when you did! I know WDW, but Disneyland is a different beast!
Rob, you’re the best!!
Thanks for taking the time to talk to me in Disneyland! You’re the kindest RUclipsr! Hopefully I’ll see you at Jollywood. 😊
That was such a Magical Day! It seems like the Disneyland cast members went out of their ways to create a lot of Magic. Another great video gentlemen!❤

I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed this one. We had so much fun making it. 😊 Hope you have great success on your Disneyland adventure!
There you are Rob!!!!! Watching now
We’re back! Thanks for watching. 😀
Going next month for the first time and this will be super helpful ❤ Thanks
Thank you for watching! We hope you enjoy your visit!
Hey, thanks for explaining. We are going to Disneyland this month. And you gave us so many wonderful tips.!❤
Thank YOU for watching - we really appreciate it. 😃
We hope you have an amazing time during your visit!
Love the Mr Toad ears!!!
As soon as Rob saw them during D23, it was a most buy for him 😂
Thanks for watching.
Love this. We are looking at going to Disneyland for the 1st time in 2026 (we have been to wdw). Thanks for taking us on a virtual LL adventure!
Thanks Rob - we’re doing DL this year instead of DW so this is super helpful !
Hope you have a great time! It’s really fun to experience the Disneyland versions (in most cases the original versions 😄) of rides you love from WDW.
I really appreciate your help when I went to DisneyWorld in Jan 2024, and I was pleasantly surprised that you did this video before I go to DL!
I go to Disneyland a few times a year, and still learned some new tips. Thanks for your quality videos. PS, love Erick and your ears! 🥰
Awesome - thank you! 🙌 I’ll tell Erick you loved his Viking ears. I’m going to have to steal those for a video. 😂
Thank you for all of the amazing tips!!!! I had just became an expert with genie + now I have to start over learning with LL, I feel better now😊
Friendly clear information.Thank you.
Thank you for watching, we really appreciate it. ☺

Great video! The best one I’ve seen on LL. I will be headed to Disneyland in a few days and this has been immensely helpful 😊
Great video
Thanks Martha! Hope you have a great holiday weekend. 😃
Good timing! I'm heading over to Disneyland next weekend to run the Halloween 10K & Half. Of course we will be hitting the parks too!! Thank you!
Hope you have a great time! We had a blast while we were there. 🙂
Ok I recently watched an interview w you on another channel--I had NO idea you've been vlogging only a few years!!! You are the BEST and its on my bucket list to meet you at DW! (Or DL!!!)
Thanks so much, Jessica! Hopefully our paths will cross one day at the parks. 😃
Editing is quite good - music layered in like the western and Matterhorn was very nice
What an amazing video!! Thank you so much ☺️
The number of rides going down is a bummer.
That exclusive queue tour is amazing

Yesss!! Cheese on a stick is my favorite. A local mall used to have corn dog 7 and that is the only thing I would get!
Thank you! I appreciated the way you explained the process by using the step by step process which is very helpful. Great video as always but how frustrating that so many rides are down..is this typical of Disneyland California?

Hello, can we buy the multipass lighting lane and use it on both parks Disneyland, DCA if we have park hopper?
Yes i go to Disneyland in 5 weeks!! You’re a life saver, I thought if you pre-purchased multipass when you bought your tickets you could book LL before scanning in? x
Rob reminds me of Rick Steves and i don't know why.
Now I can’t decide whether to go to Anaheim or Tokyo 😝
We recommend a long layover at LAX on your way to Tokyo so you can do both! 😃
Totally agree with what Rob said 😂
Hi! I love your videos! Can you do a video showing where to stay in Disneyland! It is my daughter 15th birthday and I would like to stay in a special Disneyland Hotel! Thank you very much! Kisses Dani

@@EarScouts thank you! :-)
I am going to Disneyland will my magic. And from Disney world work at Disneyland? If so what do I need to do to use it?
If you have a new MagicBand (the kind you charge), then it will work. You just have to add it to your park ticket in the Disneyland app.
I thought the two hour rule ended with Multipass? Is it different at Disneyland?
Yes
"a lady bug! i will have a lucky day!"
4 attractions came to a stop 😅
😂 Too funny! You’re right, I hadn’t thought about that. It was a fun day, though. So I guess we had some ladybug luck after all. 😊
