So many places to visit, so little time. But, you covered some awesome places. I was there in October 2021, and saw some of those same things. So cool to see you stop at some of them as well. The Peanut Butter and Jelly Soda would go great with the Peanut Butter Burger from the Crow Bar in Laramie!
As a Tulsan, I would have been very disappointed if none of my fellow Tulsans pointed you toward the Center of the Universe. So glad you got to experience it!
In your videos, I can always tell how much Adam enjoys taste testing because he nods after his first bite or sip. He did NOT nod after his sip of ranch dressing soda. LOL!
Honestly we have never considered Oklahoma as a destination, after watching this we will reconsider. You two always seem to have so much fun together, makes your videos one of the most enjoyable screen experiences I have encountered. Thanks for sharing.
To be honest, before we visited we didn't think much of it either, but there really is a lot to see and do all over the state! Your comment is very nice and means a lot to us. Thank you and thanks for watching!
If you like nature go to the east side of the state, it’s beautiful, it’s basically like Arkansas, you also have the west side which is like New Mexico
Awesome work you two! You are officially our favorite youtubers. You make the cutest couple and we ❤ your personalities. We also appreciate your cinematography skills and your interest in history, food and ice cream... You two are our inspiration to get on the road! Many thanks for all your vlogs.
I just wanna say thank you for exploring our great state I love seeing people come here and seeing how amazing Oklahoma is I’ve been an Okie for over 2 decades and it brings me joy seeing people falling in love with our amazing state
It's been awhile since I've made it back to Mother's Road Market...but after watching your video, I definitely need to head back as there are some new restaurants in there. Glad you had fun at Pops. Anytime I have an out-of-town guest...I always take them to Pops!
I also enjoy Keep Your Daydream. Rte 66 goes through our suburban Chicago hometown, and we drove this summer down to St. Louis via Rte 66, using KYD and "EZ 66 Guide for Travelers" as our inspiration. So much fun!
Regarding the onion issue… I have a few recipes where I use the onion with the cheese grater allowing me to have the flavor of the onion and not the overwhelming texture of the onion. Make sure to use the onion and the cheese grater directly into your mixture. The secret is in the juice. And not too much as the juice can be over powering. Love the videos keep up the good work. Be safe and be well
RUclips found your video for me at random,, and glad it did. I am a new resident to Oklahoma and "discovering" it myself. Your Channel has it all going on....video, photography, fun facts, good send of humor, good interaction between you two, everything is so interesting. I Subscribed, and look forward to your travels, as you guide me to travel and camp in more places that you have explored and recommend.
Great start to the OK Vids! I loved the soda tasting. Every New Years Eve we have a party where we buy a bunch of flavored sodas like your ranch when and then our kids and my 3 nieces try and guess the flavor. It's hilarious when you don't know what your drinking what your mind thinks you're tasting. Looking forward to more of Route....66!
Thank you for show casing Sapulpa! That is where I was born. Kellyville is where I grew up and went to school, I’m assuming before the Arcadia Round Barn you drove through Kellyville 😊 Loved the video!
We loved this RT 66 tour! What fun quirky places! Thinking back to travelers before theme parks they must have been in Awe! Soda scene had us laughing and of course the dancing bloops! Great video guys! ~Cara 😊
I really liked all of the food and drink places. The sodas at Pops looked amazing. I would have been very up for trying lots of those, but the Mother Road Market looked amazing and the burgers at the end did too 😍
I’m going on Route 66 from St Louis to Tucuncari in May 2025. Just found this and already found some cool places to visit that I wasn’t aware of. Thanks!
Thanks for this video, we just today visited the blue whale and Bucks, and I got a couple of wonderful art pieces from there. Tomorrow we follow your guidance and head up to Kansas.
The ceiling of the round barn looked like the inside of a basket...amazing work! Such fun: the swings with the ropes and trying the different sodas! The tasting expressions: priceless..lol!
Please come back to NE Oklahoma. When you come, explore Tahlequah, Oklahoma. We have a lot of river floating outfitters on the Illinois River, great hiking trails (I like Sparrowhawk). The town has unique shops and restaurants, museums, history and culture.
My home state, so cool. Even though I've lived most of my 65 years in Alabama I was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma and visited there often as a kid to see family. Thanks for sharing.
Dang, wish I woulda known! I live in Tulsa, coulda told you guys the best bURGER joints here, or Tex Mex, the main two things Oklahoma's great at! Pops 66 is great for IG and some good food though!
Your AK fan back here to comment. My son, who may be moving there (Oklahoma) next summer is gonna be stoked when I share this vid with him! Again, top notch vids from you two!

Thanks so much for this video. I am planning a trip on route 66 next year. I saved all the places you visited on my route 66 bucket list. I will also check out the videos you recommended.
I know you did onion burgers at Tuckers. If you get a chance, go to Nic's on the corner of Penn and 10th. Only lunch, only cash, no real parking, about 10 seats in the whole place. Most of his sales are carryout, and awesome.
You two are so cute! I’ve been following you since you were on the Kenai Peninsula, where I live (in Homer)! It’s been a fun journey, I love the quality and interesting items in your videos, you even made Kansas look interesting. Thanks for sharing! Come back to Homer sometime and I’ll take you out fishing. I actually catch fish, unlike Adam 😢.
I live north of okc and have been to most of those sites. Thanks for the kind words about the state . Enjoyed your banter sorry you didn't get to experience the play area at the Gathering place that is and awesome park surprised you didn't go canoeing. If you get the chance at some point visit Little Sahara park just outside Waynoka. Anyway safe travels to you both🛣🚍.👍🖐
In the center of the universe, that echo is caused by the circle cement structure and its acoustics. It is very cool. The school in which I taught had the same type of circle and created the same effect. I tried it last year. It was cool!
This video was about Route 66. If the video was mainly about Tulsa we for sure would have covered that topic in our video Thanks and thanks for watching
I'm so thankful you guys showed The Round Barn! To get to the Round Barn, you guys had to drive through a small town called Luther, and that's where I'm from! We used to hold dances at the Round Barn!
I believe that’s the first time I have ever seen you two not like a food. I used to drive 66 from Calif. to St Louis as part of the route from home to college in Massachusetts during the ‘60’s. Never had time to stop and see the sights. Thanks for this.
Good episode, love you guys! Philbrook Museum in Tulsa is a good couple of hours as well, maybe next time. Hope you get to the Bricktown canal and boat district in OKC.
Thank You for stopping by. If you ever stop through again, try Butcher’s BBQ Stand on Route 66 in Wellston. It is one of the best BBQ places in the country. They won the World Championship of BBQ a few years back.

Welcome to T-Town (Tulsa) and OK! It looks like you went to a bunch of the main attractions. You did a great job of covering my home state!
So glad you went to The Gathering Place in Tulsa. It is amazing.
In your videos, I can always tell how much Adam enjoys taste testing because he nods after his first bite or sip. He did NOT nod after his sip of ranch dressing soda. LOL!
Would he put the ranch dressing soda on a salad?
Lol!!!
Love the editing from when you said “…there’s no kids around” to you both giggling on the rope swing! That was funny!!
😂

Not sure how you missed Hank's Hamburgers - iconic route 66 hamburger joint in Tulsa!
We didn’t miss it, we just chose to go to other places that sounded better to us.

I live in Tulsa Oklahoma, the center of the universe does echo in the spot with the line. I've done it before
if you keep your voice going as you walk through it's noticeable
We noticed! So cool!
@@AdventuresofAplusK also if you ever film in Tulsa Oklahoma again I recommend filming Mohawk Park
In the center of the universe, that echo is caused by the circle cement structure and its acoustics. It is very cool. The school in which I taught had the same type of circle and created the same effect. I tried it last year. It was cool!
Love this video .I'm a proud Tulsan and currently live here
Thanks for the deep dive into Route 66. Hopefully we can travel that pathway someday, but we'll be sure to skip the ranch dressing soda!
Are y'all planning a visit to Denton, TX on the way home? Catch some lovely wall art, foods and drinks over here!
We have been home for a few weeks now. We didn’t visit Denton, but did have another fun Texas adventure. Denton does look like a neat town though!
Love the History and Great Information, so cool
Glad you enjoyed it!
I am glad you came through Oklahoma. Hopefully on your next pass through Tulsa explore the Greenwood District and learn about Black Wall Street....
