I’m a 41 year breast cancer survivor. Had my implant removed 3yrs ago. It moved higher up on my shoulder. 38yrs . I don’t remember being told to have it replaced every ten years. I’m 76 now. I had no chemo or radiation. Had a baby 2 years later. The implant was the color of an egg yolk. I was married to my husband for 44yrs when he passed 14yrs ago from cancer 💔❤️. I changed my diet, no soda, no white sugar, 1 cup of coffee a day, no red meat, no alcohol…boring life…I LOVE IT AND AM ALIVE 👏🏾🙌🏾❤️🙏🏾✝️🏆💃🏾🥰

Amen 🙏🏾 ❤️. I'm a breast cancer survivor too, same no chemo, no radiation. I still have my implants, new ones since 2020. Your post about living a boring life really encouraged me. Sometimes I think of myself living a "boring" life on the world's definition of boring. However, a boring life = drama free life = peaceful life. Amen❤🙌🏾.

I had implants @ 38 yrs and removed 38 yrs later. I never had issues as far as I knew but removed because of the news about how bad they are for us.
I’m 82 now and been blessed because I’m basically healthy and still not on any meds @ 82. I’m blessed! I have ringing in ears , dry eyes, fatigue, brain fog but I feel it’s because of my age..as I never noticed these issues before. My only issue is liver issue with eating too much junk sugar foods as a “quick fix “ for snacking for years… I’m fixing that now by Not eating sugars nearly as much anymore!
I have been doing organic, grass fed, for a few yrs now so I’m sure that has helped. I only do supplements too and NO meds!

I went through hell with 2 sets!! Contractures and bruising. The corner of one of the implants started protruding through my skin and almost killed me, literally. “Safe and effective and very rare side effects.” Tell that to all the harmed women with BII. All this in addition to lots of money! Insurance doesn’t cover it when you have problems with them. The implants also caused any breast tissue I did have to diminish and now after explant they are caved in and saggy. Disaster and wish I had never done😮

Dare I tell the truth! 🫣 To me, breast and booty implants are among the most unappealing things that a woman can do to themselves! In my mid-20s, a lady thought I was just plain old introverted, but really, I despised her breast implants and being in public with her! Thank you kindly, Dr. Josh Axe, thank you for sharing this critical information! Have a great day, everyone! 🙂

A fitness instructor at my gym was the first woman that brought this to light in my life about 4 years ago and got her implants removed and shouts from the rooftops how much better she feels! There's another girl at my gym that has implants and feels ill but was tested for the substance in her bloodstream and was told she's not feeling ill from the implants.. 😑

People get implants because they don't feel like their body is enough as is.
(Brainwashed by the media) The emotional pain makes them focus on how much better they will feel about their bodies, once having implants. Trying to avoid looking into any negative aspect of it.
(My experience) I want them removed. It's been 7 years.
    I'm breastfeeding now. 🙏🏻 Luckily I can.
    I need 9,500$ for the removal 😮
So it won't happen soon but it's been on the to-do list for the past 3 years.😅
So sketchy the surgeons never warn you of anything bad happening because they want the $$$$$

I’m so in agreement with Dr. Josh
Jehovah only sees the person we are inside (which is our personality makes our beauty) not the outside beauty the one that people can see. Remember we are all made in God’s image, we are all beautiful creatures in his eyes.

Explanted 2/14/24 after 27 years in. So glad to get these toxic bags out. I had melanoma 3 years after implants in 1999. Wild to hear the link. I was only 23 and not really one to get over exposure to sun. This brings me to believe it was the implants. Wow!

It took me a long time to find out I had Breast Implant illness as doctors aren,t trained in it.Luckily I came across the Facebook group for implant illness( ,who will give you the facts - eg insist that the capsules be removed as well , as the are contaminated with the 38 chemicals and 4 heavy metals in the implants. The 2 surgeons who put them in and out, both told me silicon is inert. The one who took them out looked embarrassed when I corrected him. They know the truth but love the money they make. After 2 mastectomies I should have been given a healthier alternative of using muscle and fat from my own body, which I got eventually years later. The Facebook group had about 30,000 in it ( from Australia & US) a year later it was about 40,000- that was about 20 yrs ago.I hate to think what the numbers are now.The Facebook Group has important information for anyone with implants.Don,t rely on any advice from drs.

I am very concerned about our youth and young adults who are constantly bombarded with all the social pressures and all the beautiful advertisements normalizing that implants, fillers, Botox, lasers, etc. are the norm. It all takes high dollar to maintain and after the parties over what will you be left with? They are starting in their 20’s to ‘stave’ of looking older. News flash we all age. Getting on in years is the natural progression and you will look older and one day even old if your are blessed to live into old age. Your face is not broken (Justine Bateman book). I had a wonderful dermatologist who told me to forget the plastics and enjoy life. She shared she had had her eyes done and a facelift and everything in between. And guess what her next advice was….I am still my age. I spent risk of surgery, time to heal, and money to get old. 😊

My wife had breast implants which were silicone about 30 years ago. Five years after that she had the implants removed and replaced with silicone implants. She has been healthy since then until about 5 years ago when she was diagnosed with Lewey body dementia. I wonder if the saline implants had an impact on the development of the Lewey body dementia in her brain.

Some things to add. The woman in our family seem to have very tiny breasts and eventually our mom and all 3 daughters got implants. Simply put, back in the days before social media when implants were very new, women's clothing had darts in the breast area and darts folding over is not great. The rest of the body is curvy like a woman, but, breast tissue was minimal. Mom got capsular contracture and had hers replaced about 20 yrs later, 1 had horrible auto immune and had hers removed after less than 3 yrs & not replaced, 1 had saline and woke up to a deflated implant and had them replaced about 15-20 yrs later and one has very bad arthritis which started about 3 yrs after implants. All of the originals were in the mid/late 1980s or early 1990s except one which was done around 2020. I have been told that if you have the implants removed and NOT the capsule/tissue surrounding, that you cannot get well. When silicone leaks, which is verified by weight after removal, the silicone will eventually find its way toward the feet, but, where does it go? Not everyone gets implants due to social media, low self-esteem, significant other pressure or peer pressure, but, few have no issues after, if any. Oh, and in those days, women did not talk about/share that they got implants that I knew of.

I got my implants when I was 19. I wish I’d listened to my mom when she said don’t put those foreign objects in your body. 35 years later I developed diffused scleroderma. A life threatening autoimmune disease thought to be caused by breast implants possibly. I got them removed immediately but there’s no cure for diffused scleroderma. Ahha I just got to the part where you’re talking about this.

I am 5 weeks post explant. I feel amazing. I honestly did not know I was suffering as much as I was til they were gone. I was relieved of beck pain, runny nose, swollen lymph nodes in my armpits, hip pain and low thyroid. I can not express how shocked I was at how these things all disappeared. I went in expecting nothing and shocked at how all of these symptoms have vanished. I was not ruptured but clearly these implants caused issues. Thank you for sharing this information. I had implants for 5 years and I felt like an old woman. If I could have died from the chronic fatigue I would be dead. Horrible. I was in my early 20s and felt like 90.
It did take some time to heal but after a few years I was completely healed.
No more fatigue or autoimmune disease symptoms!!

I never understood implants, except for those who had breasts removed from cancer. But even then, there’s a risk of poor health after the body already went through hell. SMH. Elective surgery alone is a huge risk. I’m hesitant to even get Lasik since my eyes are so bad, but it least there is no implant, but there’s a flap which has a risk of coming loose years later. Hey maybe you could do a deep dive on Lasik eye surgery.

I had a copper IUD for 7 years and I was experiencing all the symptoms Dr. Axe mentions in the first 5 minutes. Now I’m still dealing with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. Western medicine won’t tell me it’s associated with the IUD but I believe it is very much so because I’ve been eating clean for over 10 years.
