Well, subjectively it's a 10 out of a 10. Objectively I will have to knock it down to a 9.0 because of that smudge on the wall and no wall accessories😜! The first wall, what if you put up your favorite movie(s)/anime/live action poster? You could make a poster out of one of your statues, idk if you still have them or not, it would be a great way to "display" your work. You could even create a Rivals Collectables poster(s), in an animated style. You will have to do something similar for the packaging anyway, either an actual photo of the figure or a drawn computer image of the figures. I think it would be cool to see your figures if they were to be drawn in a graphic novel. Did you have any experience with this kind of work as a kid/young adult before going into teaching, it looks professional to me. I do a lot of diy stuff, but mine don't look THIS good.👏👏👏
Man, that is impressive! I can’t wait to see how everything looks once you’ve got it furnished and have your collection setup! I’d keep the hallway decorations fairly simple and fairly flat, like framed art, pictures, or posters, but that’s just me. I have wide shoulders, so I can only make it through a hallway with shelves and decorations so many times before I inevitably bump into them. 😂
Watching the process has been really fun to follow and how it’s turning out has been so good. Can’t wait to see when it’s all completed! You did an amazing job
Anthony, mate… I bloody love it! You are one talented chap, my friend; I found your handy work inspiring. Thank you for sharing! Job well done! Brilliant job! Truly phenomenal work! 👏✊👍 Congratulations, Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧🇮🇹 *P.S. Posters!!! You can never go wrong with too many thematic posters. 😉😆
There is a company called Displate that makes metal posters. They last forever, unlike paper posters, and they attach with magnets, so no holes in the walls. They have tons of movies, games, characters, and scenes from all kinds of licenses. They look pretty dope.
By Odin's almighty grey beard you know how to renovate yet how dare you show off an un-christened toilet? Excellent work Anthony. This basement is fantastic. What did you use for the flooring in the hallway? It looks like cork. It really brings out the warmth in the hallway. The paint colors have been chosen wisely. I love the colors. They scream "finished basement" to me. And your work on the ceiling must have been a literal pain in the neck. But it looks tremendous. The carpet is going to go along way in keeping the room comfortable. Suggestions for the walls in the hallway - a precursor to what it is in store for the visitor would look really nice. Any art or literature from yourself, as the room is about you after all.
Thanks. The floors are just upper middle level lvp with standard woodgrain. I chose a warmer brown than most seem to like these days. Thought it would go nicely with the walls and carpet.
It's so insane to see when you first started - to this. Almost can't even tell what is where from the original layout. Crazy job. - Also looking forward to see what collectibles go on the shelves in front of the toilet ;p
for the hall walls, just as a suggestion, a french cleats to hang some tools you use, like: small boxes for toy accesorries, brooms, tuves, lamps or sneakers, nothing too deep so you can walk ok. Or, you can put some floating shelves, above head level, put some light figures on them. Or, put some led lights and hang some vehicles from the ceiling. poster or 3D posters is the easy solution, like you said
This turned out amazing, and I am looking forward to a collection unboxing and setup video in the future. As for the bare walls, I say do different themes for each wall like movies, comics, box art prints, or anything that shows off your hobbies.
The hallway wall would be awesome with some posters of your favorite IPs abd characters, maybe promotional art for different products you like? Or you can out your Anthony's customs logo on one of the walls ;) lol
Looks great man! Definitely just swarm the walls in framed posters or display weapons to give a build up of entering the fun zone. That's the easiest thing you could do to make the walls interesting. Mood lighting from sconces could be nice too, but you prob don't wanna run another circuit at this point. I guess you're already confident there's no water risk in this basement since you finished it out?
There's always some risk but there's nothing specific to worry about in this basement. It's waterproofed and there's a sump pump. I also had cracks in the walls filled. Should be good to go.
Tables are better so i can rearrange should the bed arise. Don't like connecting things to the wall unless I'm pretty sure they're staying. I'm my work area there will probably be cabinets on the wall eventually once i have the space in use and i know where i want everything
Absolutely fantastic job! Just from the video footage, it looks and feels very comfortable and inviting. It's been fun watching the evolution of your progress, and look forward to seeing it populated. The one saving grace for flat paint, it is easy to do touch ups without leaving brush/roll marks. I prefer the look of flat, but harder to maintain as you mentioned. I had to repaint our "common" bathroom in a semi-gloss because our wonderful guests kept flinging their wet hands at the wall, while reaching for the towel, lol. Even water leaves marks.
IDK why but i can't touch this up at all due to the computer being different even though it's from the same bucket. Must be because i used a sprayer. I figured since it was airless and didn't require adding water it wouldn't be a problem... It is. The color isn't even close. I'll have to touch up a whole wall to make it look good lol
@@AnthonysCustoms dang, that's a bummer man. I'm a brush and roller painter myself, which i hate doing, lol. Lots of factors at work using a spray I can imagine. Either way, it's still a wicked awesome job you did! If you are like me, I'm by far, my own worst critic.
I only just watched this series; it was really fun to see the progression! Thank you for sharing it! The final result looks great! I’m still a little startled at the amount of space you’ve dedicated for your ‘security systems’ haha; America is very strange to me 😅
Thanks. We're almost done with the build now. Adding the final things. As for the home security, one's right to protect himself is a prerequisite for all other rights.
I'm hoping it's the entirety of your collection 😆. For me, you've been moving for 8 years. Finally we see the whole street fighter orgy and the marvel legends you did keep.
I know. It's unconventional but very practical. Who cares what the basement half bath looks like? Who needs a lot of counter space and a tiny sink anyway?
You don't need insulation on a basement ceiling to keep it comfortable. I was down there all winter and it was just fine. I've never seen that before. Where do you live?

I look forward to seeing everything put into place. Putting stuff on shelves is always a blast so that would be fun to watch. This definitely makes me want to do this kind of work on a home one day.
Looks great. Nice and clean with a ton of room. I live in nyc so I have a small 10x10 room for my collection and art stuff lol. I gott get out of here 😅
You could buy some art prints of your favorite characters for the hallway
I was thinking the same thing👍🏼
Truly excellent work! Can’t wait to see a collection video down there. I’m actually excited for you!
I've been waiting to see your collection for so long!
That's a pretty cool layout and has come a long way since I last seen it.
Man, you got golden hands. Everything is done so clean.
Wish your family many happy moments there 🥳
Thanks a lot

Been waiting for one of these! Thanks for updating us on your collection 😊 👍

Definitely nothing that sticks out in a hallway... Maybe at the end opposite the stairs but otherwise it'll be flat

Wow! This project turned out fabulous! Great work, Anthony! My family and I are looking forward to seeing the collection complete!
TODD McFarland bought marvel legend LICENCE now
It looks fantastic, you are quite the inspirational handyman too. For the hallways I'd put framed posters of my favorite characters etc.
Dang, that's awesome! I could live in that basement no problem!

That's a really cool mask in your pfp
this is looking great can't wait to see the display set up. livestreams would be awesome.
As many others have said; you've done an amazing job. I'm envious of your D.I.Y. skills.
I can't wait to see your collection in situ.
simple but an awesome room

OMG, Are u one man army
You can hang some 1:1 props there, on the wall
Beautiful to see it all come together.
Damn dude amazing work! Looking forward to seeing your collection displayed
thanks a lot
I love the minimal approach!
Nice sculpt and paint but it's lacking some accessories
Nice to see! I was just wondering how this was coming along.
Comic book wall or all the file cards from toy purchases on a poster board collage
That's beautiful, dude!
Thanks a lot!
This looks amazing.
I Like Your Room and Good Job on Your Update!
Hang mint on card figure for the wall?
Gave me some ideas for my space! Thanks for sharing Bro-ham
The room is comin along nicely. Looks really good. I'm digging it.

Let's go
Solid collection room. 9.5
Full Dale Earnhardt Sr mural?
2:02 are you able to install like a work counter into the wall??? Like a work station instead of just tables? Just an idea .
Tables are better so i can rearrange should the bed arise. Don't like connecting things to the wall unless I'm pretty sure they're staying. I'm my work area there will probably be cabinets on the wall eventually once i have the space in use and i know where i want everything
If you have any cgc slabed comics, that'd be cool in the hallway.
I have zero comics.
Whre is the stuff???😂
The basement is really coming along anthony great job
thanks a lot
Nice house 👍

Hinge the poster like a door for access to the electrical! ALSO no Home Defense hidey hole?????😂 good work my man
The whole house is my hidey hole. If you come in uninvited, you get defended.
Right there with ya. “This I will defend”
The hasbros are gonna be giving this basement a 2/10

Sponsored by Displate
I wish they made something big enough
I'm hoping it's the entirety of your collection 😆. For me, you've been moving for 8 years. Finally we see the whole street fighter orgy and the marvel legends you did keep.
My whole collection is way too big. I've moved multiple times.
@AnthonysCustoms I know man, I'm just giving a hard time. The new spot came together nicely and I'm stealing that sink idea 💡
I know. It's unconventional but very practical. Who cares what the basement half bath looks like? Who needs a lot of counter space and a tiny sink anyway?
EITHER WAY , the cave looks awesome man. You did an amazing job
Is this going to be open in public?
My basement? No
Coming along well! Good work and thanks for the update :)
You should get some posters on your walls.
Maybe you could ask Displate to make some promotion of their metal posters or something.
Its not what I expected but maybe you can put figures on the long hallways? Maybe some spider-men or something like that or some posters
Maybe some art are some shelf's for your own finished custom work that you make for yourself maybe a picture of your figure line
My left ear enjoyed this.
Yeah. My phone is broken
Much love to you Anthony, love your vids and the fact that you go based on facts
Two big murals or comic prints would look great on the walls
Looks great, the ceiling is awesome!
It's a huge area! looks great so far!
Looking good 👍
Looks great dude!
Nice!! Good job!!
Movie theatre posters are pretty neat space fillers. 2 or 3 of your fav films and there’s a wall all done!
That's what I'm leaning toward
Love it 👏👏👏
No insulation and cover on the basement ceiling? That's gonna be cooooldddd. Looks great Anthony, pretty good job in finishing all that.
You don't need insulation on a basement ceiling to keep it comfortable. I was down there all winter and it was just fine. I've never seen that before. Where do you live?
Congrats! 🎉 Looks great! So much room to work with! (And yes, I know it’s easy to fill as a collector)
@@AnthonysCustoms north Wisconsin, we definitely need insulation everywhere. Otherwise winters are imposible in a basement
Gotcha. Not that bad here. With the basement walls insulated, the basement is cool but not cold.
