I have never been introduced to a cooler youtube channel that this, I love my aunt and I am so glad she showed me what you guys do a few years ago. You guys are amazing, holy crap
I love how you started crafting book covers and now you're designing and constructing entire rooms. I can only imagine how much bigger and more elaborate your future projects will be.
This is truly the best thing you've done IMO. Building one large object with attention to detail is super cool, but THIS...this is insane! The amount of detail with not just the texturing and painting, but the objects and placement of items create such a beautiful set. It's one of those things that I know the camera doesn't do justice, I wish I could stand in the room to experience the master craftsmanship that was delivered in this video. I would love to see much bigger projects/large scale art pieces in the future. Great work!
Another great method to use foam is to burn a bit with a light. It gets the superficial layer harder and looks like stone. Later you can paint it, or even cheaper, "paint" with concrete. I have used it and looks amazing. It is a really cheap and easy way to make "artificial rocks". But it is importan to use high-density polystyrene beacause is is harder. Is is a very cheap way to isolate the indoor of your home from cold and noises too.
As an academic librarian, who has worked in a lot of old libraries, I’m amazed how well that set design looks. You guys took a lot of great mental notes from Universal! I saw this in the dark Lord video first, and had to go back and watch this .
This is absolutely magical! I'd never want to leave the room. The ambience with the dark background you set the window to for the first half of your previews is also gorgeous, I'd never want to change it. You should put in some fake drippy wax candle lights for that old study vibe!
Please tell me it’s not just me that wants a series dedicated to Martina and Hanzi buying a castle and turning it into their dream home? And let’s be honest, if anybody deserves a castle, it’s you two! 😊
I’ll admit I laughed out loud at the blood-splattered table saw book. The whole studio looks amazing, and I can’t wait to see the videos you film in it. You guys are awesome!
The project takes a lot of time. But In terms of skill and creativity you can watch a video about how to do this process with smaller tabletop builds. Scale up from there. Please remember this is a set. Please don't make this irl if you want it functional or "safe."
I'm now moving frame by frame and there are some interesting book titles over there. "Eating Seeds Is Not a Past Time Activity" "How to become a Millionaire in 5 Simple Steps" - Non-millionaire person "101 Reasons to Stay Inside" "Creepy Beasts and How to Make Them" "Satanism is Pretty Cool" "If You See This, Type This in the Comments" There is also "Shrek Forever After"
This project is one of the coolest things I've seen. I remember watching you when you really only made books and now look how far you've grown with your art and talent. P.s.- the Never Gonna Give You Up book was hilarious.
Martina has the energy of 100. She cracks me up, each and everytime she takes a project by the throat, and shakes the hell out of it, until it yields! Meanwhile Hansi makes her laugh with his quiet, calming, filthy humour. Both these folk ARE superduper. LL&P :)
I rarely do these type of DIY projects myself, but Martina is one of those rare youtube creators who's content I watch purely because I admire and appreciate the energy in these videos. The content is always well made, and the easy-going, goofy, creative and amiable attitude really shines through. These videos reminds me that everyone can practice self-amusement daily, and this is the type of vibe you want to carry into your real life relationships also, just to have a little peace of heaven on Earth.🐩
As an author of fantasy worlds, creating a space like this is a dream. While I may not be able to physically create a wonderful space such as this, it inspires me to work twice as hard to create a room that my mages can be proud to call home. You guys are such an inspiration and I would trust you guys with my worlds any day of the week! Love you guys.
@@chemicallyrandom6150 The biggest difference is that a mage uses a wand, while a wizard uses a staff. Also, important to mention, a wizard's staff has a knob on the end, a knob on the end, a knob on the end~
Absolutely incredible!! The whole vibe plus the slightly fake look of the books really make it feel like an irl video game, like skyrim after adding the book cover mod lol, and the window!! I'm obsessed, I love intricate windows. You should definitely make your home like this, but make it more functional! The is what my dream home would look like, just add a guilded dark blue and gold starry ceiling... love it.
I completely agree with that you said ahout IKEA. It's always been my dream to have a beautiful old worldy, wizardy style room to house my collections of old books and trinkets and IKEA doesn't do justice to my desire to showcase what I have in a more Louis Treize style/ wizard way. You've given me hope that I can attempt to custom my room further. I really love and appreciate everything you do and you will always be my role model in creativity. Thank you so much for this video and all of your videos.
Looks like the set from a legitimate Film! I'd want my house to look like that but put a "clear" ceiling in that has simulated planets and a swirling galaxy (basically how you made the window but it's above you with the motion tracking too) that would actually be cool if you added that to this room or something :3
I initially missed this episode and later saw this room and wondered who made it. Of course it was you. Very very nicely done -- especially the window. Definitely a 'set' to keep. It's wonderful. Bravo!
You know what would be really cool? Since Nori likes climbing the stairs so much you could make a mini platform up there with a castle doghouse for him! It could fit the medieval theme and Nori would be able to watch Martina work from his castle! Too late now though obviously, I just thought it was a cool idea
One of those little fake leaf vines going up the banister and a couple other little fake plants on the shelves would really make the greenery "outside" pop. Incredible project! Now I wanna do this so badly lol
I saw this background in other videos and I was completely convinced that it's fully built with wood and stone and actual books. This is without a doubt the most realistic looking foam build, it's wild and insane and I love it
21:33 I’m glad she said it. It looks so good it leaves me disappointed that it’s just a prop room and not a real reading room in my own house. Looks amazing.
This just blows my mind, absolutely incredible. The idea with the 3D background is insane, too. It has so much potential with different 3D scenes. I'm so glad your channel exists!
Ok RUclips needs an option to "love" videos, this is quite possibly my favorite thing on here. Amazing job!!!! This is why you guys are the best, not only are your ideas amazing and your skills incredible, but your execution is always flawless and it is so satisfying!!!
What a PROJECT! I love the freedom of your creativity. I remember when you first designed this studio space and you loved it. But that didn’t stop you from a complete and utter transformation of the space. Even your past successes do not keep you from growing and changing, and that’s very inspiring. It’s a living and breathing space, not stagnant and unbending. Beautifullll Also, both set and prop building blow my mind. 😮
Just discovered your channel and this hit me hard. Changed my field from fashion photography to game design and started learning from William and his immense amount of knowledge here on YT. My end goal is creating an AR-VR Amusement Park with environments both physical and virtual that interconnects people around the world. My life's motto is 'Inspire Inspiration' and seeing a tiny portion of that dream come to life through your video has remotivated me to keep going. Thank you to everyone for their truly inspiring work!
just watching Martina being excited like a little child about this project makes me happy! I always get motivated seeing someone who loves what they do with so much passion!
I feel like you an Scott Christian Sava should do a collab. You are both amazing artists, and you both now do your art in a mythical room. His basement is a Hobbit Hole!! He is so wholsome and amazing.
This woman is inspiration, so many talents and creativity. When ever I do not feel creative, I just watch her videos and voila, inspiration is there again.
That looks incredible, congrats! As a theme park enthusiast, I was happy you mentionned Diney and Universal, as you project is indeed very theme-parkish (down to the trip to second-hand stores for props, haha). Have you noticed, at Universal mainly, they do use the same perspective shift trick as your windows on some rides? The pionneer of that was Spider-Man (Islands of Adventure) which did that in 1999. It's called squinching, and it's not using head-tracking, but instead knows where the vehicle is on the tracks, so it's pre-rendered. But it works wonderfully! Also if you ever come to Europe, you might want to check out Toverland, which is pretty much filled with this wizard-style scenery; and Phantasialand, because it's plain amazing.
You have all the basics covered, now all you need is a crystal ball, a skull, and some sort of animal "familiar"...ravens and owls are good choices. Or maybe something more exotic like an imp or gargoyle. And those are the only minor details I can think of. This is a gorgeous build, and much, much better than a lot of Hollywood movie sets I have seen. Bravo!
I was watching the painting stage , thinking' How the heck are they gonna pull this off'? Man, consider me a convert. The end result is absolutely stunning. Well done, kids! Now come to my house and transform my room.
This is such a great build! I just found your channel yesterday and watched your most recent video. After seeing the wizard study, I wanted a walkthrough of the space. I got more than I wanted, and EVERYTHING I needed! I learned so much about set design in this one AMAZING video! You guys are awesome!
With Martina’s God level of patience and her natural artful eye and craftiness… I can’t be the only one who wants to see what she would create in the new Zelda game. She’s probably already built a Steam Punk city.
The aggressive slamming of the stone on foam to get a stone texture made me cackle, but its such a good idea! We use a lot of foam in LARP for Plasti-dipping our shields and props, and your foam-working videos are always such an inspiration!
The bloody "Table Saws 101" book killed me. :D Absolutely insane. How do you guys keep and keep and keep outdoing yourselves? That studio turned out gorgeous.
I got so much vicarious joy watching this. I used to be a foam cutter and a set builder as a job and I had to stop. It's still massive fun watching cool people do that same job, so thank you so much for making this into a video!! As Storage in this space for the future, I recommend Book Boxes. You can buy them or make them, then have the Titles be whatever's stored in that box.
You (along with Jazza and Imphenzia and some other RUclips creators) have helped me realize... creative people... create. Whatever the medium, whatever the tools; they create. And I'm not one of them.
The thing about art is, that you can become an artist. All you have to do is create. It doesn’t have to be any one thing, it doesn’t have to be “good” either, so in the words of Scott Christensen Sava “ the world need more art. The world needs your art.”
@@ariamelody5560 I agree with you. Scott is an amazing artist and inspired tons of people to create your art. It doesn’t matter the medium, the technique, all that matters is your art and that YOU are proud of it. Don’t mind negativistic people. Instead, mind the talented folks and yourself for creating art that people can see and be inspired on!
Creative people create indeed, but being a creative person is not a requirement _to_ create. Not everyone is creative by nature, but everyone can be an artist, if they want to be.
Also remember creativity comes in many forms so while you may not be artsy your creativity could show up in another way, ex entrepreneurship or parenting 😊
More and more, as I go from new to old and see more of your content, I feel envious of your home. Such open and clear living space and workspaces are beyond my funds to live with, and then such wonderful projects to theme it all.. so good.
Martina and Hansi: "Damn we always make those huge projects which take almost a month each, maybe we should do something else next..?" * Making an even HUGER project that turns out amazing * Guys, in every new project I'm in shock for how you manage to outdo yourselves, this is beyond unbelievable 🤯❤
Initially, I was disappointed that you would change things up so drastically. I was soooo wrong! The fact that you challenged yourself to something so large outside of a mural was inspiring. I wish you actually had more useable space instead of "set pieces" but this really turned out INCREDIBLE!!!!! You both are so talented and bringing in incredibly talented people to help with the project exposes them more to people that don't realize what they can to or who they are. I am amazed at your talent and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. You are amazing!!!!!!!
I am speechless. It’s absolutely beautiful, that’s all I like. Potions, cauldrons, old books... it’s amazing. The wood, the stones, all this decoration is so well done, it’s really splendid. I miss words to express my admiration. You really did a tremendous job, well done!

I love how you started crafting book covers and now you're designing and constructing entire rooms. I can only imagine how much bigger and more elaborate your future projects will be.

ok that screen behind the windows with the motion tracking is freaking on point. Absolutely amazing work all around. Bravo!
Great work!
I love how even with just the foam unpainted it looks like a room in a cartoon castle
Points to Hanzi for coming up with the absolute perfect "That's what she said" retort!
That joke is so old and needs to die already.
@@TigerwomanXsweden many jokes are old but still people loves them so no, luckily it won't die just because you want to
The office vibes
My mom and I were howling with laughter when he did that. It was so out if pocket from what we've seen of him so far. 😂
I wish i had the tools, knowledge and time to do all these project you do, they're AWSOME!
She doesn't really have "tools". she uses whatever will work.
@@dorg9502I wish I had her resourcefulness and motivation!
The project takes a lot of time. But In terms of skill and creativity you can watch a video about how to do this process with smaller tabletop builds. Scale up from there. Please remember this is a set. Please don't make this irl if you want it functional or "safe."
It is amazing to see how much creativity Martina has along with everyone that help her make her Wizard studio come alive. Good work Martina.
Martina really snuck in a never gonna give you up book and thought she’d get away with it!
I'm now moving frame by frame and there are some interesting book titles over there.
"Eating Seeds Is Not a Past Time Activity"
"How to become a Millionaire in 5 Simple Steps" - Non-millionaire person
"101 Reasons to Stay Inside"
"Creepy Beasts and How to Make Them"
"Satanism is Pretty Cool"
"If You See This, Type This in the Comments"
There is also "Shrek Forever After"
I too saw some interesting titles such as
The life and times of scrooge mcduck
Scoop The Goop and
DAMMNED STAIRS
Never thought I'd be Rick rolled by Martina. I Love love love your creative skills. Nerdforge videos are the highlight of my day.
She definitely didn't let us down or desert us.
There's also the "Table Saws 101" with a blood splatter.
I liked the detailed touch of the "Table Saw 101" book with blood drops on it 😆 And everything looks awesome as usual!
Timestamp?
Edit:
Nevermind, I found it.

I was looking for this comment 😂
This project is one of the coolest things I've seen. I remember watching you when you really only made books and now look how far you've grown with your art and talent. P.s.- the Never Gonna Give You Up book was hilarious.
LOL, I saw that title!
Your generous use of foam means that your wizard library will be the first one in history that doubles as a floatation device.
When you consider how many people the movie studios have to work on giant movie sets. This is very very impressive!
This women deserves her own show.
how about installing a platform at the top of the stairs with a dog bed? if he likes to climb the stairs, he might like to watch you from up there
Martina has the energy of 100. She cracks me up, each and everytime she takes a project by the throat, and shakes the hell out of it, until it yields! Meanwhile Hansi makes her laugh with his quiet, calming, filthy humour. Both these folk ARE superduper. LL&P :)
I rarely do these type of DIY projects myself,
but Martina is one of those rare youtube creators who's content I watch purely because I admire and appreciate the energy in these videos.
The content is always well made, and the easy-going, goofy, creative and amiable attitude really shines through.
These videos reminds me that everyone can practice self-amusement daily,
and this is the type of vibe you want to carry into your real life relationships also,
just to have a little peace of heaven on Earth.🐩
That’s just impressive it’s so beautiful ! 🤩
Meanwhile, an actual mage's room: **just a messy college dorm, with empty mana bottles littered all over the place**
@@LordDragox412 facts, the difference between a mage and a wizard...wizards know how to put their laundry away...
The is what my dream home would look like, just add a guilded dark blue and gold starry ceiling... love it.
Im so impressed how from simple designs this channel has turned into making whole rooms like wow
You really believe that?

You've inspired me to do this with my bedroom, turning it from a boring dull room to a Witch's/Apothecary's study room, half way with it :D
sounds awesome. how is it going, any updates?
yooo that's so cool! Have you uploaded any photos?
I completely agree with that you said ahout IKEA. It's always been my dream to have a beautiful old worldy, wizardy style room to house my collections of old books and trinkets and IKEA doesn't do justice to my desire to showcase what I have in a more Louis Treize style/ wizard way. You've given me hope that I can attempt to custom my room further. I really love and appreciate everything you do and you will always be my role model in creativity. Thank you so much for this video and all of your videos.
Tan hermoso tu trabajo!!
Y me encantó la traducción. Pude escuchar en vez de leer y no me perdí detalles de tu cuarto.
Saludos desde Argentina!!
"That's what she said" and the response made my day--brilliant! Thank you both!
I might have rewinded that part one... seven times 😂
They are not that type of channel...
@@Vladimir_Kv I know. That's why it shocked me that they left it in--it was a nice glimpse of their playfulness.
Martina, you and Hansi have inspired me to do more art ❤ thank you for everything you do!❤
While I'm struggling over here to find the motivation to even sketch something, Martina out here bringing my Fantasy dreams into reality 🥲
Looks like the set from a legitimate Film! I'd want my house to look like that but put a "clear" ceiling in that has simulated planets and a swirling galaxy (basically how you made the window but it's above you with the motion tracking too) that would actually be cool if you added that to this room or something :3
I like how Martina’s hair matches the foam colour 😂
foam hair? :D
Girl your dedication to your fanbase is absolutely beautiful. Keep going!
Damn. This is seriously the most impressive craft I’ve seen all year. Also, you can put a tiny humidifier in the fireplace to emulate smoke!
Make it an essential oils steamer pot and I'm in!
I was so pleased to see Hansi taking a greater role in this one and he just perfected it with "that's what she said!" 🤣🤣
I almost spat out my mouthful of tea when he said that lmao
@@jodyknight I'm not sure Martina knew what to make of it either!
You can always replace them with real ones later
Probably a year later, she does it for real in her own home.
Martina has such maddeningly infectious energy. Can't help but smile even though I'm sick as a dog.
The book titles were just brilliant.
Get well soon, this amazing video surely helps regaining your energy!
This just blows my mind, absolutely incredible. The idea with the 3D background is insane, too. It has so much potential with different 3D scenes. I'm so glad your channel exists!
Me encanta que hayas puesto un audio en español ❤ ya veía tus vídeos pero ahora es más increíble, gracias ❤😊
Beautifullll
Also, both set and prop building blow my mind.
I’d love to one day have a house like this but made with real wood and materials. I love mystical, dnd, fantasy like things.
just watching Martina being excited like a little child about this project makes me happy! I always get motivated seeing someone who loves what they do with so much passion!
I feel like you an Scott Christian Sava should do a collab. You are both amazing artists, and you both now do your art in a mythical room. His basement is a Hobbit Hole!! He is so wholsome and amazing.
Omg yes
Seconded
Thirded
BEST IDEA IN THE WORLD
I think they did. It was a bigger collab than just them. I believe that's how first saw his work. I could be miss remembering though...
Every time I watch one of these videos I end up getting random motivation, and up with a foam pile that catches on fire
I love them. They are a good definition of trust the process lol
Absolutely insane. How do you guys keep and keep and keep outdoing yourselves? That studio turned out gorgeous.
Can you put a time stamp?
@@ST-fs6rk Around 20:43 - I'm so glad someone else noticed that 💀💀
I suppose being able to laugh about that is great.
First time channel viewer. Came here for an answer, I am picking up what you are putting down 😂😂
@8:38 had me absolutely howling with laughter, especially since the timing of "that's what she said" was so perfect 😂.
8:37 That laugh. That was amazing. Thank you for including that.
Me either. Not an artistic bone in my body.
Such open and clear living space and workspaces are beyond my funds to live with, and then such wonderful projects to theme it all.. so good.
Martina and Hansi: "Damn we always make those huge projects which take almost a month each, maybe we should do something else next..?"
* Making an even HUGER project that turns out amazing *
Guys, in every new project I'm in shock for how you manage to outdo yourselves, this is beyond unbelievable 🤯❤
Your dog walking up and down the stairs is just wonderful
I would personally like to have this, but to add in a folding bed in the desk
I am speechless.
