I miss Mike so much , especially when the time has come that we are going to say a final goodbye to lots of great artists. One more time for peace Mike !
Great footage of a great day Rob. I remember this trip to Reading well. I've got quite a bit footage on my camcorder. I'll have to do something with it. It's a pity these conventions weren't filmed for a highlights DVD for posterity.
When was this filmed? I am assuming last year, May or June? Its great to see a "fuzzy" Mike Oldfield, you only get a snippet of him, but seems in good health, countering the rumors he was very ill and this stopped him from being involved in the 40th anniversary . Thanks for sharing this!!
@@VeganFlatEarth Wow that long ago, I have lost touch with releases and I think more wish fulfillment to see Mike, and to know he is happy and well, as he has just gone off the radar.
there's no reason to assume he has any serious issues, he just prefers to maintain a low profile and let his musical legacy speak for itself. When u have gifted the world as much as Mike Oldfield has, you are allowed to completely relax in solitude and peace.
@@VeganFlatEarth It’s completely understandable but only a short message from Mike that he has retired and thanks us would be appreciated. Instead of a message from the record company.
Roger Chapman is awesome singing Shadow on the Wall which is a favourite of mine.
I like Mike Oldfield and his music he is awesome, and he is well talented.
We need Mike Oldfield making music again, I would be happy to just have him an acoustic guitar, he is really missed.

Tubular bells was released 51 years ago, so presumably, this video is 11 years old.

@Chappomusic personally, I'm not convinced he owes you or anyone that. I don't think that's how it works...
