It's actually incredible how much of a failure Opie ended up being given he had such a massive advantage over nearly every other Podcaster from the start.

@@briancrawford69 no question. Anthony has stated several times that he would have continued that work relationship because I believe he once said “we were getting paid a f&@k ton of money” to bullshit for four hours a day.
It's more accurate to state Anthony flushed the millions. His social media addiction combined with his racism was inevitably going to get him fired. They all knew it. He refused to stop and the inevitable happened. The _only_ reason they even skated for that long on Sirius was because they were under the radar. No one else was going to hire them in the current climate, so even if Opie tried to stop them firing Ant (instead of encouraging them) it wouldn't have worked.
@@SethMcFartlane If Opie and Anthony were on Compound together I would assume the show would be much larger than its current iteration. Anthony broke company policy and was terminated. I won’t argue that or what happened. I think that they could have spun off another show like compound and had more success. My opinion only.

When Opie was confident & comfortable he could be really funny. I listen to the old shows now but if he would sign to CM, I'd sign up.
He's a bore. He can't hang with Anthony like Dave and Gavin can. Opie would need to have someone next to him who's actually funny to help Opie seem funny, when he just isn't. This is from years ago, so, thankfully, we know Greg has just gotten more bitter and less funny. He's not even interesting, when he definitely should be with the career he's had.

At Westwood one he was below the totem pole with Scott Ferrall. I actually love Scott literally when I was a kid he got fired from San Francisco radio for saying women golfers or lesbians he was the sharks guy on the radio and we would call in and talk with him on local TV show

Opie brings up Anthony a heck of a lot more than Anthony does. There's a huge difference. Anthony can talk about anything and anyone, and make it funny. Opie hasn't got a funny bone in his body. He's a bore, who needs to talk about Anthony to gain a smidgen of attention. There's a reason why every comedian, who's ever worked with Opie, can't stand him, and no longer talk to him. And it's nothing to do with Anthony.
