I have a feeling that lasso man may be just an earlier version of bracken, a leftover of cut design or something sort of like the experimentation's pre-made map that was cut in favor of randomly generated facilities
the lasso man was replaced by the masked player in v47. it was originally supposed to strangle and control the player with its ropes, but ended up being replaced and scrapped. however, some of the files for it were left in the game when it was supposed to be removed. it's unknown whether it was left in by accident or as an easter egg.
I'm pretty sure it can spawn in the game extremely rarely. I've seen it once spawn with no mods. Id love to see either zeekers bring it back or even a mod that would bring it back.
I've been waiting since I started playing in version 45 there needs to be a volcanic moon. Having heat protective gear or a fire extinguisher to clear the way to the building would be so cool. Maybe even new weather could be exclusive there such as firestorms or meteor showers.
It’s kinda weird, as it suffocates people, and already uses the thumper’s AI. It seems to either be a cut enemy or a work-in-progress enemy we will see later.

I think it would be cool to have "sub" interior themes in the game. While new interior themes are something way down the line I think it would be pretty cool to it where special rooms can appear for different moons. Moons such as Offense and Embrion can have special ammunition production rooms while forest moons such as Adamance and Vow can have more lively rooms such as rooms for growing plants and experimenting with said life. Special rooms for the mansion theme can be large theater rooms to fit with the paintings and piano sounds played there. This can give mansion's rooms similar to the large factory room connecting multiple pathways. These changes can help the current lack of variety in the interiors.
I've had this idea for awhile about adding more player states but idk if it would conflict with the intended gameplay loop. I think it would be interesting if instead of just dying some enemies incapacitated you for a set amount of time or until you were freed by a teammate. In this state you would still be a ragdoll, but it would give you a small chance to recover from getting attacked. For example, things like Snarfleas wouldn't outright kill you, but just knock you unconscious until a teammate got it off of your head. Spiders could also maybe wrap up player caught in their webs and keep them alive until deciding to feast on them later. Fall damage is another one that I think should ragdoll you for a set amount of time until you recover back to low hp. But that does kinda conflict with the "watch your buddies die in horrific ways" thing that the game is built around. I'm also partial to the idea of letting players buy "revives" in the form of paying some sort of inflated price to rush a replacement employee to your location when a teammate dies. I just feel like the dying and spectating part of the game leads to alot of randoms leaving the second they die bc they're bored and not invested enought to stick around.
That would be fucking awesome. I already love how baboon hawk nest spawns can make you rethink your usual paths, this would be more of a direct version of that. Like they completely lock down a certain area unless you find a way to bait it out and kill it
Lassoman is definitely an early iteration of what would become the masked, his hoops perfectly fit around the neck arms and legs of a player and would likely strangle them before puppeting the body around to fool other players.
Some sort of healing item thats only found in the facility, but to further convince people to go further in, is to make this item spawn more the deeper in the facility, which shouldht be veyr hard to make, just a simple distance calculation.
A cool idea for a new moon could be a gas giant, where either the wingsuit, the parachute or both needed to traverse it. Maybe the daytime could be replaced by the fuel of the ship or something, as it can't really land and needs to hover or something. The interior could also be some sort of lost space cruiser, where loot can be found in
problem whould be that there is no ground to stand on, no vision and no oxygen. maybe i just dont know enough about gas giants, although another idea whould be perhaps the scap floating around on the planets ring? although maybe the theme also has to strictly stay on moons and gas GIANTS does not sound like a moon.
Liquidation was added to the game files in v50 from my understanding, in which case it was just unfinished for when he wanted to release v50 and felt like there was enough content and I would imagine it is on its way. Personally I disagree with the idea of the suits themselves having a bonus depending on the type, because its largely just a way to tell people apart atm and both of the suits that you can easily come up for a function with are largely useless or undesirable. Less damage from bees means very little, and the T3 moons at present have no bees, whilst Artifice they arent so common that it's worth. Bunny suit would in most cases make no difference apart from enabling some cheesy jumps that Zeekers seems unkeen on (via the slope changes). Also I feel on the whole people fall into natural roles and making a suit that kinda locks you into X role is somewhat counter to the idea, especially since unlike an item it wouldn't be a case of you swap out with a teammate at times, you can just always take whichever is most optimal for your situation. I do agree about monster killing an healing, although not really their implementation you suggest. For killing stuff, I think generally the nutcracker implementation is generally better where you aren't punished for killing but the hornets don't seem that bad now people have played with them more. I feel like carrying the bodies feels strange and they'd have to be two handed but low-ish value drawing comparisons to the butler and nutcracker in terms of effort to kill them.
they should integrate the locker enemy into the official game. it functions the same way all the official enemys do: easy to deal with by itself, but with more monsters it becomes a huge threat. that, as well as it looking really cool but still fitting, and its highly telegraphed movements to offset its incredible speed make it a genuine consideration imo.
A ship upgrade that allows a limited amount of healing would be cool, perhaps 4 charges that can heal a 1/4th of someone's health could introduce the dynamic of choosing who should have priority to heal, maybe even be able to buy extra charges for high quota runs on difficult moons
The company does buy at a >100% rate in game, but only on the day after the quota is due if you did not make the quota. It’s never usable but it is in the game.
a neat way to add any medical items to lethal company to keep the difficulty and pacing of barely scraping by quotas would be some sort of item that takes from your health, stores it in the item and then another injured crewmate can use the item on themselves to recover health as a way to distribute health across the players, and it'd be nice if someone on ship duty took the health for the team and stored them in the items for others to use if they need it most, maybe like tp back ship after attacked then inversed back in it'd also be really funny if masked could inspect the medical items if they're not put in the red cupboard so they just use the item, heal themselves and leave the empty jar/item on the ship floor, then you come back to a mess and a masked hiding in the corner
6:54 in v60 zeekerss said he removed the goopy goblin and the bog crawler in the game and this might be what he was referencing due to the drippy appearance of the very right monster and the middle one looking aquatic and muddy fitting for the bog crawler name
If we get scuba gear I'd love indoor flooding to come on flooded days as well. Maybe never more than the lowest level or two. I think coming across stairs that go down to become submerged would fit the vibe of this game. Do I have to go there? Is it worth it? Is something down there? This event only attaching to flooded days (or maybe always like this on liquidation) could set submerged vents to work differently and spawn slightly different enemies maybe (this is asking for a lot maybe)?
A monster that force teleports you to somewhere else in the facility would be interesting, you can either let it teleport you if you're deep in the facility and cant find a way out or use it as a means to get further in with the gamble being getting stuck in a locked room or surrounded by other entities
One cool idea is that you could stay past midnight but the ship would leave, the ship would return at 8am and collect the people who were left behind. Therefore you take a risk when staying behind but you could get a lot more scrap.
I always felt monsters outside of being obstacles really had no value after they died but having a pikmin like mechanic of selling their bodies just feels like it makes sense in a game about collecting things
0:50 I think lasso man would feel more like nutcracker (ranged) + fox (dragging live players away) + snare flea (dealing small amounts of damage endlessly). What I'm curious about & what could make him play differently is what is his level of aggression & what makes him attack? Hopefully he isn't like the snare flea in that you are helpless solo. A mod I seen that adds in lasso man has him chase relentlessly at a high speed with perfect pathing which feels wrong. I also wonder is his red material flesh, intestines, or string? Is he toy/childhood themed (nutcracker, ghost girl, mansion scrap, jester, barber...) or realistic creature themed? I also wonder what quantifies to make a creature invincible & would this one killable? Usually unkillable creatures are easily avoidable like slimes & spore lizards. Or are slow enough that if killable would be too easy to counter: coil head & jester. Might fall into the bracken, dog, giant category of generally being too difficult to be worth killing. Not sure why old birds are unkillable, especially to worms.
ive drawn up an idea of a monster called the bait crab which is an outside monster that steals your scrap from the entrance and burries itself with its scrap on a sort of horn connected to it so you have to fight the monster to get the scrap back.
10:42 That’s actually really cool as the masked enemy can eventually come back up after being knocked down, making it risky to leave it on the ship for too long before leaving the moon.
6:00 Liquidation: "Previously mined for its rich industrial resources, Liquidation is *now largely* an ocean moon." *NOW largely*. There are real world examples of small islands being mined out of existence, or made much smaller, (a very saddening act). But how did so much land get submerged on an entire planet if it wasn't largely ocean before? Ice caps melting? Are there submerged buildings?
About the company selling over %100, I actually saw this happen 1 time when I let my friend play for the first time (on my account) I’m not making this up. I have not seen it again though. I think that I still have a picture of it.
I was thinking that maybe mask hornets could transform into the thing they killed, like they can turn into the player that they kill, but that mask hornets also act like the butler when they transform into that character
we need a weapon so powerful that it's a two-handed item like a railgun or the old bird's rocket/flamethrower would be fun. Maby an update to the monitor to make the traps yellow when there in use [add spike disable sound que] a terminal based weapon would be nice punch in some coordinates and launch a mortar at giants.
From what I have heard and seen I think zeekers doesn’t want killing to be effective/easy. The shovel rebalancing shows that while it is an option the crew isn’t meant to be warriors. The shovel itself is an improvised weapon.
I love the idea of a super clunky, super hard to coordinate, but insanely powerful late game weapon for the terminal user to operate. Like have it lock onto the nearest target to the ship or something lmao.
Personally I like the idea of a strange nurse-like NPC who is docile but offers a mystery treatment, having a chance to either heal you, or rapidly turn your blood into gold while inside the facility. Dying in the state, on the other hand, would turn your entire body into gold,, making you weigh so much that you body can't be moved. This would both be a positive and is negative, as it would gradually weigh you down more and more and also bring you closer to death, but in exchange raise the total payout you could get upon returning safely safely the ship, as your body rejects the gold and grants you a unique item who's price would scale according to this. This way you would not only have risk behind attempting to heal yourself, but you'd also end up having a second wager on your hands in the form of testing your luck with how long you can survive in the facility while still making it out alive.
@@mildlyinvested2992 that REALLY does not sound like something from this game. Its a cool idea but whould be better for a diffrent game. this game does not even have "NPCs" at least not ones you can talk to, and i like it that way, it adds to the lonliness and feeling that noone other than your buddies are on your side, you are an expendable human that can easily be replaced and can only rely on your mates who are in the same boat.

We even restarted the server and the 120% didn't go away
@@Crazed-RatMods my friend, the mod “Late Game Upgrades” has an upgrade called “Sigurd’s Access” which gives the company a chance to buy at 120% but that’s absolutely not a vanilla thing.
The Selling enemy bodies wouldnt make as much sense since The Company doesn't accept Organic things, the only reason the dead employees sell for 5 scrap is because of they're suit.
Liquidation makes me kinda sad because I had a cool idea for a modded planet called Poseidon-241 with like, a glass interior and all, but apparently that's already gonna be a thing
1:26 I actually think this would be a really cool idea, except maybe it wouldn’t even kill you immediately, just drag you super far into the facility and only kill you after a while of following and dragging you around. Most likely you would die from other things as when it eventually lets go you would be deep inside with no escape

unfortunately zeekers has said that lasso man would never be implemented into the game. also liquidation just copies stats from artifice mostly so we can't make assumptions yet
Maybe that last showman character was a rework into the dog you know the red one that hides in the bushes Latin America be reworked into that I mean they’re both red. They both grab you with long things and they both drag you places, so yeah.
I will say I have seen the company buying at 120% I couldn't do anything about it because I sold all my loot at the company a day prior so I would be wasting a day to drop of almost nothing. It was also several updates ago so it might not be possible now but it definitely was. I just had to wait and hope I got enough loot at quota day when it is always 100%.
More than anything the current interior types need more variety added to them. The mansion especially I feel like needs more than just endless bookcase rooms
Hear me out, so what if you could grab the barber’s scissors from it’s hands (this would be very dangerous of course) and the weapon would have a slower attack speed than the shovel but does more damage than the shovel kinda like the opposite of the knife, also you could use scissors to cut lasso man’s ropes doing around 1.5 damage to it. You could also use the knife to cut it but it would take 3 hits (the damage threshold could be 1.5)
Another idea for the suit upgrades could be that in order to unlock them you would have to scan a certain monster, like you have to scan tulip snakes for the glider suit or maybe a nutcracker for a nutcracker suit that makes nutcrackers not target you
Can you imagine being pulled away by the lasso guy and he carelessly drags your body over a mine

sort of like the experimentation's pre-made map that was cut in favor of randomly generated facilities
the lasso man was replaced by the masked player in v47. it was originally supposed to strangle and control the player with its ropes, but ended up being replaced and scrapped. however, some of the files for it were left in the game when it was supposed to be removed. it's unknown whether it was left in by accident or as an easter egg.
I'm pretty sure it can spawn in the game extremely rarely.
I've seen it once spawn with no mods.
Id love to see either zeekers bring it back or even a mod that would bring it back.
@@SusDoctor I'm pretty sure there is a mod that does that, I think I've seen it, but I forgot what it's called
Great video, really underrated! I didn't know that the drill had more items needed than the apparatus, that's interesting.
I've been waiting since I started playing in version 45 there needs to be a volcanic moon. Having heat protective gear or a fire extinguisher to clear the way to the building would be so cool. Maybe even new weather could be exclusive there such as firestorms or meteor showers.
I’m the type of guy to go 🎉“YIPEE!🎉 whenever Exxo uploads a video
I think the lasso man was the original bracken as it strangles sorta like the bracken.
It’s kinda weird, as it suffocates people, and already uses the thumper’s AI.
It seems to either be a cut enemy or a work-in-progress enemy we will see later.
An optional end to the game would be awesome
Some ideas for item concepts for others to build off of
-Pickle(+40 HP,Stamina regen increase for 6 hours)
Pickle Jar required
-(Consumable) Candy Bar(+20HP,DOUBLE Stamina for 1 hours)
Cost:10 Credits
-"Makeshift"armored suits(2x Hp or 1/3 damage reduction)
Scrap Required:Stop Sign,Yield Sign,Shovel,Tea kettle or Tattered sheet metal
(Mix n Match or 2 of same item)
-Molotovs(x3)
Scrap Required:Bottles/Flask,Perfume Bottle/Chemical Jug
-Bone Bomb(Explodes on impact and inflicts temp wounding effect)
Uses eyeless dog teeth from eyeless dog corpses.
Lasso man has been in the files since the beginning. I think it's likely that it was just an early monster that the Bracken replaced.
we need trapdoor spider outside
That would be fucking awesome. I already love how baboon hawk nest spawns can make you rethink your usual paths, this would be more of a direct version of that. Like they completely lock down a certain area unless you find a way to bait it out and kill it
@@underscore_5450thats actually genius
Even if liquidation isn’t made I’ve wished for awhile that there was a water enemy, for the flooded weather it just makes sense
I once heard someone propose that the Lasso Man was the original idea for the Masked - it'd put its lassos around you, kill you and control you.
Lassoman is definitely an early iteration of what would become the masked, his hoops perfectly fit around the neck arms and legs of a player and would likely strangle them before puppeting the body around to fool other players.
Itd be cool to see another version of the thumper on liquidation, since thumpers came from sharks
COOL SPECIAL SPAWNS. i want map specific enemies. like an enemy that guards the fire exit you have to bait away or something
we seem to be going in that direction a bit more with maneater who has 70% higher chance to spawn in mineshaft.
I feel like the one at 7:09 was turned into the kidnapper fox
they should integrate the locker enemy into the official game. it functions the same way all the official enemys do: easy to deal with by itself, but with more monsters it becomes a huge threat. that, as well as it looking really cool but still fitting, and its highly telegraphed movements to offset its incredible speed make it a genuine consideration imo.
A first-aid kit at the ship next to the charger sounds like something that could be added, and sounds balanced compared to a mobile healing item
maybe having it as a one or two time use so it cant be abused.
7:00 the left one might be the bracken and the middle maybe a snare flea, but they could just as likely be scraped enemies
ScubaOne and Two are both in the game as sound effects that randomly play as ambience but I do believe they will be used for more
a neat way to add any medical items to lethal company to keep the difficulty and pacing of barely scraping by quotas would be some sort of item that takes from your health, stores it in the item and then another injured crewmate can use the item on themselves to recover health
as a way to distribute health across the players, and it'd be nice if someone on ship duty took the health for the team and stored them in the items for others to use if they need it most, maybe like tp back ship after attacked then inversed back in
it'd also be really funny if masked could inspect the medical items if they're not put in the red cupboard so they just use the item, heal themselves and leave the empty jar/item on the ship floor, then you come back to a mess and a masked hiding in the corner
It’d be cool to also have water interiors as well. Love all the new moon concepts but I feel Indoors should get some variety if possible
for the lasso man, i can just imagine what it sounds like as the player gets taken away
‘HELP MEEE
HELP-- *silence*’
6:54 in v60 zeekerss said he removed the goopy goblin and the bog crawler in the game and this might be what he was referencing due to the drippy appearance of the very right monster and the middle one looking aquatic and muddy fitting for the bog crawler name
those are both jokes. they were never in the game and they have no official concept art
They were jokes, i thought they were a thing too but why remove something that never existed?
@@Crazed-Rat he didn’t actually remove the goopy goblin or the bog crawler because they were never in the game. It was just an inside joke
@@GLUMBUSWUMBUS i know!!! Did you not read the first sentence?
@@GLUMBUSWUMBUS i was saying that like you i thought they were units too before finding out they are not.
Yeah, the drill was in the game since the V30 demo, but seems that it hasn't been updated since.
7:13 that gives me Bracken/Baboon Hawk vibes ngl
7:05 that coilhead has some thunder thighs!! damn!!!
A monster that force teleports you to somewhere else in the facility would be interesting, you can either let it teleport you if you're deep in the facility and cant find a way out or use it as a means to get further in with the gamble being getting stuck in a locked room or surrounded by other entities
inverse teleporter: the funniest run ender as when you get it people cant stop their temptations on using it to get lost and die.
6:55 the gray monster to the left looks just like ULTRAKILL SCHISM
I hope eventually the “Fake fire exit” becomes vanilla. It’s too fun just to be a mod.
Same, although i think the lights should flicker to give some indication that it isnt real. That way it forces you to pay attention
I just wish they weren't so frequent
10:42 That’s actually really cool as the masked enemy can eventually come back up after being knocked down, making it risky to leave it on the ship for too long before leaving the moon.
They can't get back up, that's just a rumor
@@Box-bp3wx oh
Maby an update to the monitor to make the traps yellow when there in use [add spike disable sound que]
a terminal based weapon would be nice punch in some coordinates and launch a mortar at giants.
Rather than a medkit, a cool feature would be plants that can gathered and eaten that heal you
Personally I like the idea of a strange nurse-like NPC who is docile but offers a mystery treatment, having a chance to either heal you, or rapidly turn your blood into gold while inside the facility.
@@Crazed-Rat I 100% agree with you that it does not sound like something that would be in this game. That's why I think it would be a perfect fit lol. I did describe it in a way that I don't usually imagine though, for whatever reason. I think I likely meant NPC-like nurse, as it would be a sort of enemy, just one that you risk being affected by on your own terms.
@@Crazed-Rat I should also clarify that this specimen would not be a remotely comforting face to have around, it's poor mimicry of human demeanor and appearance would make it just as reassuring of company as any other one of the creatures.
I think it would be pretty cool is if lasso man was a mix of a snare flee, bracken AND masked. It takes you away, takes care of ya then tries to get close to your friends and find another host
thats almost exactly what he said in the video i think, or someone else.
one thought is that the 4 lassos restrain each of your limbs, maybe you gotta hit each lasso to get him to let go? And this guy deffinetly feels like a max 1 spawn.
I just really want new interior pieces and tilesets. Going to Artifice and just being in a mansion or factory felt incredibly underwhelming
Selling scrap at 120% happened to me 4 days ago. I was playing with my friends with Lategame Upgrades and we bought by accident 4 extra days instead of 2, so we ended doing 7 days in total and we arrived to the company, the company was buying at 120%. We even restarted the server and the 120% didn't go away
Sure you didn't just buy Sigurd Access? It's an upgrade that gives the company a chance to purchase at 120%.
Wait what, how can you buy more days?
@@SchmeppieBoah Is this missinformation? i feel like i see ppl say they got 120 but skipped every time and didnt screenshot?
@@Crazed-RatMods my friend, the mod “Late Game Upgrades” has an upgrade called “Sigurd’s Access” which gives the company a chance to buy at 120% but that’s absolutely not a vanilla thing.
The Selling enemy bodies wouldnt make as much sense since The Company doesn't accept Organic things, the only reason the dead employees sell for 5 scrap is because of they're suit.
In reality Zeekers was like: Haha! Truck go VROOOM!

Liquidation makes me kinda sad because I had a cool idea for a modded planet called Poseidon-241 with like, a glass interior and all, but apparently that's already gonna be a thing
I definitely wouldn't bet on it too much, besides there's a good chance that you'd still be able to do something different with your own equivalent.
i like that angler fish idea
What about the 2022 trailer? It has difrend employes suits, and a elevaitor.
there is scapped items named: mapper, binoculars and a cat icon named box? and theres test map too,
1:26 I actually think this would be a really cool idea, except maybe it wouldn’t even kill you immediately, just drag you super far into the facility and only kill you after a while of following and dragging you around. Most likely you would die from other things as when it eventually lets go you would be deep inside with no escape
FUN FACT: lasso man is or was in the game i dont remember the location but what i remember is that there was video recordings of the lasso man IN game but i think he was sopposed to be a easter egg before getting removed from the game from what i remember lasso man would walk towards players but it woulding attack them prob cus lasso man was a temporarely easter egg
now i dont think it was a mod since i they didint mention it being a mod in the videos. incase yall were asking i think this was in 2023 since the game released in oct 2023
The lasso guy spawned in one of our games and it freaked everyone out 😭😭 I still don’t know how it got in
Was the host using brutal company?
I think i like the idea of special suits, but i dont want to make the cosmetics useless, i think theyre can be two types of suits and you can put on one for each type, kind of like terraria, one type is the cosmetics which dont add anything (except the boing from the bunny suit) and one for the useful gear/suits (scuba gear, headlamp, ect.)
well, we got baby sitting now.
It would be cool if lasso man could bring you towards him with his lasso.
unfortunately zeekers has said that lasso man would never be implemented into the game. also liquidation just copies stats from artifice mostly so we can't make assumptions yet

I will say I have seen the company buying at 120% I couldn't do anything about it because I sold all my loot at the company a day prior so I would be wasting a day to drop of almost nothing.
