Today I decluttered 20-30 items I thought I needed. My car has been paid off for years. My house is relatively small (1,500 square feet). No TV here. I'm training to be a realtor. I'm looking forward to becoming more independent. Last year we did a staycation. We toured many local places and learned more about our area. Cleaning my house and decluttering is how I get my exercise. Jewelry? My wedding band and engagement rings are what I wear. We are renovating our house into a lovely home to come home to. It was in bad shape. Thank you for the advice that we've been following for years.
We have a small home and car. As we say in Britain there's plenty to do or see on your doorstep. Cleaning and walking are my exercise. Like you I wear my wedding and engagement rings. We have a good library and many charity/thrift shops. What we don't have is debt. It really is the best way to live isn't it. Our families are so blessed.
It's amazing to me that a 1,500 square foot house is considered relatively small. I grew up in a middle class neighborhood and the houses were not only much smaller, but the families were larger and they were very comfortable in them.
I can attest to that. I want to sell this large (4 bedroom) house my Mama and I live in (and the farm), and move to a house about half the size with a yard about the half size of a basketball court. Mama won't hear it. But it feels like I have to buy things to fill up every room. If we didn't have the space I wouldn't need to spend so much.
@@virginiawolfe2581 I'm the same way with my partner. After 20 years of living in a large house, I want to downsize to a smaller house or nice condo. I've lived in condos before the house. I actually prefer a condo, but he won't sell the big house for a smaller place. 😩
Thank you for words of wisdom. Long story short, we went on a cruise, our luggage got lost and we had just a few clothes and toiletries that we bought before boarding. At first we whined about it but when our luggage did come we were saddened as it added stress and anxiety to our trip as we looked at how much stuff we packed. We were happier with the few clothes we had and the few toiletries. We were happier with less and almost wished we'd never gotten our luggage as it turned into a hassle after that.
Spot on about the job. When I was in my 20s, I had an office job with 'excellent prospects', but I hated every minute and after a few months, I was waking up on Saturday morning already dreading going back into work on Monday and counting the days until retirement! I left to do a much lower-paid manual job which I absolutely love - I'll always be poor, but I'm happy.
1 A house larger than you need 2 A fancier car than you need 3 Fast fashion 4 Television 5 The wrong job 6 Extravagant vacations 7 Social media accounts 8 Luxury gym membership 9 Expensive jewellery 10 Constant home upgrades This may seem like advice mostly for the wealthy, but there’s wisdom here in little pearls for everyone.
I don't see the point of a big house if you have to work 7 days a week to pay the mortgage and bills. You'd never enjoy the place. Similar for a fancy car, working 7 days a week to cover expenses. I buy simple clothes and wear them a lot. We have television, but I also read a lot. Now retired, do voluntary work. Prefer days out, plenty on our doorstep. Don't bother with 7,8 or 9. My home is fine as it is. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Can't be doing with the mess and upheaval. You're right, this is wisdom for everyone. Agree with you 100%.
I don't have a house, expensive jewellery, a garden, don't have most of those things anyway. So I've been without these things forever, so am saving money from not buying. Simply just don't buy things. 😂 Thanks for the inspiration!
I have limited tv time which is amazing spaces with exceptional creative people who design little spaces for themselves or a caravan from a plane. I love watching the occasional movie on YT or audiobooks on YT as my husband thinks books are clutter. I do my own exercise routines at home as well are rural. Would like to go to the gym but I don’t want any extra expense with being on a pension.
You can use a TV to watch movies without being connected to cable over other network programming. If you watch the “news” on TV you should get rid of it.
So true. I am almost 63 years old and have been a big supporter of 9 of these choices for the last 40+ years. I have a TV vice when the time permits. When our kids were growing up my husband and I decided that time with them was way more important than fancy houses, cars and jobs. They were and are our first priority. Them you only get one chance at. Careers you could always try later. We live on 45 acres in the country in a reasonable size house with reasonable cars. We are not foodie or clothing people and love to camp for vacations. This gave us time to concentrate on our kids. Our kids have turned out great so we must have done something right. It is ok not to follow society's luxuries. Most of it is just stuff in the end that you will need to find a home for. Declutter some ones house after they pass and you may understand this. After all do your kids really want the stuff. Ask them. You may be surprised by there answer's.
Very true. As a person who had to deal with the estate of deceased love ones, it was a burden for me to deal with their stuff. I got rid of most of the stuff, but it took me years to do so.
Fast fashion? I've bought clothes at Fred Meyer, Macy's, and Walmart that I've worn at least once a week in season for over twenty years. Shirts, base layers, sweaters, jackets. They still look ok. I'm no fashionista but I look presentable.
I watch utube on tv . All gardening and sewing and creative tutorials. Cancelled all the cable channels and only pay for broadband now saving myself 100 euros. Dont do facebook, pintrest or tick tok. Wardrobe is limited. Do love gardening . Also got an allotment which i do find brings me joy and peace. Finishing up on allotment in the evening and watching the sun go down hearing nothing but a few cows mooing and birds tweeting. Pure heaven . Best 100 euros i ever spent.
Very good list. I especially liked the mention of a high paying but unrewarding job. I used to be a computer programmer. It payed a lot but I felt like an unimportant cog in a machine. When the job market dropped out of that sector I attempted to pursue a carrier in music. I have not yet succeeded, but I’m happier failing at that than succeeding at a job I don’t care about. Even the part-time blue collar jobs I do now as day jobs are more rewarding. Regarding the extravagant vacations though, I do miss visits to Hawaii. Those trips actually were more relaxing than any vacation I could take in my home state. Still, it’s better not having an unrewarding job even if I can’t afford Hawaii any more.
I agree with you on everything except #4 the television. I get enjoyment from watching movies and series', for me it doesn't take away from other aspects of my life, so I do not feel like it's a time waster. However I don't waste money on endless streaming or cable services or over price tickets to movie theaters, I'll rotate a streaming service every month for simple convince of watching newer content, but over the years have built a physical media library and good equipment to have the best visual and audio experience in my small home. I'm a visual person so I don't get much out of reading books, but watching a movie with friends can still lead to great conversations afterward or even just having fun side splitting laughs together. This is just my opinion and everyone is different, I feel if you have children then a TV is not a great thing to have, I don't so it's ok. haha
I agree ... I love watching films and still have a dvd player my Grandson has a favourite dvd 📀 of Arthur rabbit and always enjoys an episode or two . I love setting a mood with seasonal background music on you tube and research new places to visit . As for tv I literally only watch one hour upbeat lightweight show gives me a laugh before bedtime helps me to lighten up. 😂
It's always refreshing to hear a balanced perspective, because often we become too black and white. Thanks for this comment, both you and the person who replied to you.
We use our TV to watch a crazy number of episodes of Tiny House Nation on Pluto. It is actually inspiring us to own less, so I'll call that a win. (We don't have social media so we already have less screen time than many!)

Watching your video in Korea. My life has been too distracting and I was so depressed thinking why I am so pointlessly busy. Thanks to your video, I started to slow down, relax, and think deeper. I hope I can lead my life to be unstressful and intentional.
As the song says: "but if less is more, how you keepin' score?". Underlying the advice in this video is the understanding that you have to abandon society's markers of status. This is hard, as our species seems to be obsessed with status. But, if you can do it, and do it honestly, there is great freedom on the other side.
My exhusband waz a dentist. He changed from engineering in his 40's. I quit my dental assisting job to stay home and raise and homeschool our 6 children. People would come in amd say , they thought there would ne more toys in our home. They would tell you they had plenty of toys. We had tons of books and music cassettres and cd's. They played outside on 11 acres, climbing trees, building forts. We never went on a fancy vacation or had very expensive toys. I taught our children to help others , I did not want them to grow up to be spoiled dentist's kids. I taught them to shop for bargains and how to cook, clean and care for the home. My 2 dauggters homeschool their children and work very hard. My younger daughter raises animals does canning and even hunts. They are wise with their money and have turned out to be hard workers
I haven't watched TV in over 9 years. It's so freeing! I do a lot of reading instead, which improves vocabulary, increases knowledge, improves analytical skills, and more. I also closed almost all social media accounts except RUclips. Lastly, never follow trends in clothing or in any other format. They go out of style, and you're back buying again to the next trend. Stick with timeless classics that never go out of style. I'm working on the others. I always workout outdoors, cycling and hiking all my life.
All true; i had a job but after several years i wasnt enjoying it. Now i have a job near my hometown, its paying much less but i m happy. Still saving money. I m thinking about selling my car. I will have my husband watch this video (I hope ) he pays attention. I hate TV but he holds the remote like it's going to run away. I wish he could get rid of the tv obsession.
I think he said it all when he talked about being mindful with your house upgrades. I would rather have a garden of flowers than a swimming pool or a big fancy patio. I think each person has to choose what is important and keep it in the budget! Each person has their own list.
I have always lived a minimalist life. I come from a genetically-lucky family who lives to around 90 years old. I asked my 92-yr-old grandfather the secret to a long life.....he responded, 'Just live'. :) He ate home-grown vegetables, meat from his own farm, a lot of fish, and did a lot of walking. He didn't drink or smoke, and he had a good sense of humor. Your advice is solid.
I’m struggling to find quality clothes! So many of the good brands make their clothing like fast fashion and it’s so frustrating. I hate spending 60 dollars on a sweater that I think is going to last only for it to pile after two washes!
Thanks to inflation I’ve noticed a huge decline in quality as I imagine every company is trying to cut costs. I recently bought hanes socks thinking they were quality and they unraveled as I took the tags off. I was shocked.
Yes, unfortunately my local thrift stores are full of junk from SHEIN and H&M. I recently stole half of my moms closet from the 90’s and 2000’s and the clothes are so much better lol.
@@pamelalyon3264 I bought a skirt about 8 years ago from a charity/thrift shop. Really good quality, cost £1. Just started to wear out. Absolute bargain.
Good evening! It's 23:57 here (yes we use 'military' time here) Thanks for the video Joshua. And I agree with all of them. Looking for a smaller house in Italy :)
I'm a 20 year veteran. Unless you are British, military time has no colon. Just 2357L. L is for local. Unless you're using Z time, which is from Greenwich meridian line time, that the military uses to attack targets since aircraft are all originating from different time zones.
the question is how many folks who say they have no TV actually are spending the same amount of time on the computer watching videos like this. its not 1985 anymore
You mean watching useful content like this? Media dominated programmed TV is the real waste of time. I’m on RUclips learning about life, learning to cook, learning useful skills. I pay for RUclips so I don’t waste time watching the ads because I don’t see them.
The challenge is when pursuing something in line with your passions and values A) requires more schooling, which is costly, and B) doesn't make a decent wage. I'm in grad school to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology after 20 years working in an office job I hated. I LOVE what I'm doing, but I'm old enough that I'm going to be paying back school loans for eons and might never have enough to feel remotely comfortable in retirement (if I get to retire), and it's not the highest earning job. Basically, I'm in it for the passions and values, but that might really hurt financially.
Much respect for your decision! You might worry but you do what you love, and you never know what good things might come your way....👍🍀 All the best to you and greetings from Germany 😊
Thank you! I'm a small RUclipsr for now, but I’m committed to sharing my life, 'East meets West' (from Shanghai to Germany and Europe). Every story counts!
Thank you. Im retired and decluttering like mad. Looking forward to moving into my 1 bedroom place. Im tired of cleaning house, shoveling snow, mowing lawns and building garden soil! 👍😎🇨🇦
Yes! I have decluttered 80% and gave my paid off vehicle to my daughter. My husband and I share his paid off electric car. I want to go back to Ireland 🇮🇪 but saving money will take a little bit. ❤ your channel. Thanks
You are "Right On"...I have none of these items in my life...I'm a collector...not to impress...but to make life interesting and fun for me...and a great way to meet others with similar interests.
Got rid of the tv 15 years ago, & I don’t miss it. It does slow conversation… cause I don’t most the folks people are talking about. Got a 15 yr old Honda that only gets 11 mpg, but newer ones cost as much as my house… & the mpg is the only thing I don’t love about it. It’s all banged up, but it’s so comfortable, rides & drives like a dream, & never worry about it getting scraped & dented.
This is one of the most timely videos I’ve seen. I’ve been decluttering my place for a while and still have a lot more to discard of. I look at the amount of necessary goals I’ve been trying to achieve and are still unfulfilled. Yet it’s disappointing to see that my space is still cluttered and I’m accumulating so much. Great 👍 that I’ve come to a stop 🛑 and I’ve marked more things to cut off for good
I go to a Planet Fitness and it does the job. Only $20 a month because i like the amenities and flexibility of going to other locations when traveling. Planning to move into my own place which will be significantly smaller than my current townhome. Downsizing just makes sense 👍🏼
I like this a lot, in addition to that if you want to simplify your financial life keep debt to a minimum. Cut expenses. Develop healthy habits like consistently saving money at regular intervals for investments to help you build wealth. If you work on this, your financial potential will grow exponentially. There are numerous opportunities to make money on the financial market. With the assistance of my financial advisor Abigail Ann Ryan , I was able to earn my first million dollars through passive investment in a variety of assets and right now my friend is on his way to a million too with her help. Goodluck!
My issue is that I want to declutter stuff but also watch prepper channels and then don't want to gt rid of things that might help if and when SHTF. This world is bonkers right now.
We haven’t made upgrades to our furniture in 15 years. We bought classic pieces in colors that don’t stain. No need to upgrade. I see all my neighbors buying new stuff all the time ( delivery trucks in the driveways) and I just think of how much money they are throwing away on new couches every season
Nice Comment, you made me think, we buy decent middle of the road furniture, we keep it till it breaks, our bedroom furniture is 45 years old, Dining room suite, stereo, Lazy boy and a few other things were bought in 1990, we like what we buy so why should we constantly replace, Even our Camry is a 1994 bought new, most stuff today including furniture comes from China and doesn't look well made, When I see people constantly updating and changing I feel they must be depressed and spending to fill a gap, or maybe they are trying to impress others.
The luxury gym membership is a difficult one for me. I had access to a $10 a month (or less) gym for decades and would be consistent for a few months and drop off. Over and over again. I also bought my own gym equipment thinking it would help me be more consistent. It did for a while. But boredom set in for all the above. I joined CrossFit at the beginning of this year and pay a steep $180 a month. But I am having the time of my life. I am part of an awesome community of super fit men and women. I love walking into the gym having no idea what we are going to do exercise-wise. Working out in a group environment is incredibly motivating. Sure, I wish I could pay less money per month for classes. But in three decades of experimenting nothing else comes close to "expensive" group fitness classes for me.
I’ve downsized from a 3,100 sf house to 1,500 sf. I drive a 2011 Nissan Sentra. I wear t-shirts from JC Penny. I fully retired this year and I’m loving life. I’m doing ok.
Been a while not seeing your tips in decluttering, now my home back in pile of this an that, this past month already let go of so many thing, yet the pile seems stay the same And now my sons starting to live minimalism in their daily basis, especially since the first one got into college
Good tips. So true about the big house. I always thought, "who's going to clean that?" But I guess if you can afford a big house, you can afford to hire help 😂. I don't use my TV so much, but ❤ my tablet & mobile 😂 to motivate, learn & stay in touch with family & friends. In fact I'm probably using less electricity as a result 😊. Stay-cations are great but balancing some travel with it is nice to experience the world beyond your front door 😊. Thanks Joshua for the advice. I think it boils down to being intentional & where you are in your career & life.
I wear three stud earrings. Each are different birthstones of my kids birth month. Haven’t changed type of earring for almost a decade. I’ve been slowly decluttering jewelry realizing I’m probably never going to wear most of it. Why slowly, you ask? Because I’m weirdly emotionally attached to it. So silly!
great idea with the earrings! I have a friend that only has one pair, she wears them everyday. Im in same boat with jewelry, trying to “thin the herd” considerably
Jewelry has never been a problem to me…no pierced ears or any other jewelry…I have always thought it was a bit barbaric…even as a child…I could never see my way to putting holes in my body to hand things from…funny how different folks can be
#1, 2 and 10 are gold. I hate big houses, They’re nothing but stress and expense. There’s nothing better than a cute, cozy little home thats easy to maintain and clean with low utility and little to no mortgage. Cars have also become ridiculously expensive to have. Give me a cheap, little, reliable Corolla.
I agree with every single point except the TV (and I don't watch TV at all, but my wife and I love watching movies together in the evening.) Sure, it's not necessary, but if it brings you joy, and you can easily afford it, I think it has value.
From a female perspective: lots of purses, lots of shoes, lots of perfumes, lots of jewelry. All things that you'd be better off buying one or two good quality items that will last. Otherwise you end up with a lots of things that only get used once in a while but you have to care for them and store them.
I keep coming back to this channel whenever i feel i loosen up di decluttering, kind of reminds you what is your purpose with decluttering and refocusing again what is need to be done about it

Thanks for being a helpful
and sensible North Star for so many of us in these times.
1 A house larger than you need
2 A fancier car than you need
3 Fast fashion
4 Television
5 The wrong job
6 Extravagant vacations
7 Social media accounts
8 Luxury gym membership
9 Expensive jewellery
10 Constant home upgrades
This may seem like advice mostly for the wealthy, but there’s wisdom here in little pearls for everyone.
11. A garden you can't, won't or don't want to maintain.
@@extrememinimalistparent Exactly. When our real estate agent gleefully asked me if I like gardening, I said "No!"
Agree with you 100%.
thank you for the list!
I don't have a house, expensive jewellery, a garden, don't have most of those things anyway. So I've been without these things forever, so am saving money from not buying. Simply just don't buy things. 😂 Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m not giving up my tv. I have fine relationships and watching movies is our hobby.
My husband and I like watching movies and documentaries. I wouldn't like to give up my tv.
Well, I have a couple of streaming services and a Fire stick I was given for Christmas. NO cable.
I can’t give up a TV even if I wanted to. We depend on it in tornado alley
Compliment from an 81 year old grandma…..your new hair cut is nice, you look slimmer and younger sonny boy.
Thank you.
Ya I also find u look more handsome
This comment is great, I love it MikeyDonna!
He’s gorgeous
Sonny boy!😅
We had very little as my son (now 36) was growing up. It has done him no harm, he appreciates everything he has and saves up to pay in full.
Very true. As a person who had to deal with the estate of deceased love ones, it was a burden for me to deal with their stuff. I got rid of most of the stuff, but it took me years to do so.
Our tv broke about 18 months ago and we wanted to see how we go without one for a while. We don’t miss it at all
Fast fashion?
Agreed TV is like a fine wine moderation is the key.
Dear Joshua Becker
I'm Terry ! I Have been following for a while. I know your story in starting minimalism.
Now mine; I don't have a House Anymore, I rent an apartment. I don't have a Car either.
Ir Any fancy item. I receive a check every Month for My retirement, But...I Still
Keep many things I don't Use everyday. And I don't have the heart 💜❤️💟 to Get Rid of Them Yet. Because I feel 'They Are' my last belongings of "Happiness and Prosperity" I own. I'd Wish to have an Advice from you and to Wish me Luck 🍀 And I wish You luck too. Thanks 🙏 a lot.
So very true! Speaking of, here are twenty better ways to measure success that possessions: ruclips.net/video/oqvpZY0-VFw/видео.html
I really don’t like the idea of hunting. Killing animals is wrong.
100% agree about the more you have the more you have to maintain and worry about losing.
Thank God for the blessing of you Joshua. 🙏
Amen
All true; i had a job but after several years i wasnt enjoying it. Now i have a job near my hometown, its paying much less but i m happy. Still saving money. I m thinking about selling my car. Being frugal is the best thing ever. not attached to anything. My gymmembership is being paid by the corporation i work for :)
Greetings from the Netherlands!
My husband and I have a large home and we will be selling soon. We do not need a five bedroom home anymore. Nice video and I'm a new subbie to your channel.
Gotta love the look you give after talking about gym memberships. Too cute! Good list, thank you
Agree except for nice vacations! I have been to Africa multiple times and have expanded my horizons and learned so much.
Intentionality is the best. It always works with our journey as minimalists.
Thanks, Joshua.

Have you tried thrifting? I have found some excellent quality clothing for an exceptional price and they last a long time. Plus, it's fun.
Yes, unfortunately my local thrift stores are full of junk from SHEIN and H&M. I recently stole half of my moms closet from the 90’s and 2000’s and the clothes are so much better lol.
Spend a few dollars and buy a fabric shaver. No more pilling of sweaters. I use them to keep my sweaters looking brand new.
I believe you are right with this wise and thoughtful advice, Thank you...
the question is how many folks who say they have no TV actually are spending the same amount of time on the computer watching videos like this. its not 1985 anymore
@@davidr2802 sometimes I wish it was 1985😀
You mean watching useful content like this? Media dominated programmed TV is the real waste of time. I’m on RUclips learning about life, learning to cook, learning useful skills. I pay for RUclips so I don’t waste time watching the ads because I don’t see them.
Your videos seem to show up just as I need them. Thank you Joshua for sharing you're the best! 😊
Summarized and straight to the point as usual.
Almost the 10 items have been already ditched ✌
Yes! I have decluttered 80% and gave my paid off vehicle to my daughter. My husband and I share his paid off electric car. I want to go back to Ireland 🇮🇪 but saving money will take a little bit. ❤ your channel. Thanks
Maybe go back for a long holiday..........its a beautiful place but you already know that🙂
You are "Right On"...I have none of these items in my life...I'm a collector...not to impress...but to make life interesting and fun for me...and a great way to meet others with similar interests.
Thank you, Joshua! This was very validating for me.
Another quality video with excellent ideas. Thank you so much for your commitment to this channel.
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 yet another very perfectly communicated message. Thanks for the wisdom and motivation, Joshua.
You left out golf clubs. That's a surefire way to know peace. The day I gave up golf was one of the happiest of my life.
I'm minimalist but still have my tv.
Great 👍 that I’ve come to a stop 🛑 and I’ve marked more things to cut off for good
1. A larger home than is necessary could be a good investment.
2 - 10 . Totally agree with.
You don't have to spend money to enjoy yourself.
Thank you Joshua. You always make a lot of sense.
Shiny Pearls Of Eternal Wisdom....
I go to a Planet Fitness and it does the job. Only $20 a month because i like the amenities and flexibility of going to other locations when traveling. Planning to move into my own place which will be significantly smaller than my current townhome. Downsizing just makes sense 👍🏼
Love you dude. I forgot about you. So relaxing.
Yay!! I have nailed this whole list. It might be a first. haha Thank you for your valuable information.
Goodluck!
Truly these are the best investment decision you can make both short term and long term for steady money flow. Kudos
recently started saving for retirement and I don't mind investing a substantial sum, i'd like to know your advisor ?
She’s actually not hard to find. Look her up to see if she's the right fit for you. Hope this was helpful?
The thoughts and ideas here are remarkable
My issue is that I want to declutter stuff but also watch prepper channels and then don't want to gt rid of things that might help if and when SHTF. This world is bonkers right now.
I can see that the $10 gym membership is being put to good use. You look great Joshua. Thank you for your channel
Ha, thanks.
Been getting rid of a lot of things lately that aren't usable or not being used.
Minimalism is not a one size fits all approach. If you’re using your membership and enjoying the heck out of it, then you’re doing the right thing.
I’ve downsized from a 3,100 sf house to 1,500 sf. I drive a 2011 Nissan Sentra. I wear t-shirts from JC Penny. I fully retired this year and I’m loving life. I’m doing ok.
Couldn't agree with you more!!! Thank you sincerely!! Great ways to TRULY LIVE!!♥️
Thank you for this video. It came at just the right time
Been a while not seeing your tips in decluttering, now my home back in pile of this an that, this past month already let go of so many thing, yet the pile seems stay the same
And now my sons starting to live minimalism in their daily basis, especially since the first one got into college
Stop buying, and put away the stuff you want to keep.
Excellent. Thank you for sharing.
Great advice! You seem like a very kind man.
Not giving up my tv 😝 but I don’t need five.
Thank you for your wonderful videos. 🎉
I’m newly figuring this out it’s just stuff!im gonna declutter soon as i can
Shein! Joshua you got that right! 10/10!
These are amazing, thank you❤
I wear three stud earrings.
Jewelry has never been a problem to me…no pierced ears or any other jewelry…I have always thought it was a bit barbaric…even as a child…I could never see my way to putting holes in my body to hand things from…funny how different folks can be
Your voice is so calming xx
Wow... apart from social media accounts, which help me to connect to my customers, I have never owned any of these, or given them up as a teenager...
Although, I have family in New Zealand I am planning on visiting next year.
Thank you for this !!!!
On point. Thanks!
I totally agree
Toyota all the way, love Corolla's and Camry's, a smaller home makes total sense.
Mam has become the tool of his tools !! Henry David Thoreau
🇦🇺 Goodmorning Joshua! (For me, anyway!)
Morning!
I agree with every single point except the TV (and I don't watch TV at all, but my wife and I love watching movies together in the evening.) Sure, it's not necessary, but if it brings you joy, and you can easily afford it, I think it has value.
Excellent reminder 🎉
From a female perspective: lots of purses, lots of shoes, lots of perfumes, lots of jewelry. All things that you'd be better off buying one or two good quality items that will last. Otherwise you end up with a lots of things that only get used once in a while but you have to care for them and store them.
You’ve got a point, sister.
Am I the first to comment? It’s been a long time since I’ve watched one of these videos. Have really missed them…
You are first! Thanks for checking back in here.
I keep coming back to this channel whenever i feel i loosen up di decluttering, kind of reminds you what is your purpose with decluttering and refocusing again what is need to be done about it
Absolutely so easy to slip back@@sparkleunleashed9916
Love this refresher and reminders on living the best life with less stuff and distractions around us. Thank you!
I watch every one of his videos because Mr. Becker always has such wise insights to share. 😊
Thanks
Words to live by !!
1. I live in a caravan with an outdoor cooking/living area. 2. I don't own ANY car. 3. Fashion? Whats that? With a few exceptions my clothes are hand-me-downs. 4. I HATE TV but if I could get a small smart TV I would because I watch a lot of study RUclips videos. 5. High paying job? I'm a pensioner on an income of ZAR 2,190 per month plus a small side hustle. 6. Fancy holidays???? 7. I'm admin of a Bird Photography Group. And I live a very isolated life so my Social Media is important. 8. There is NO GYM in the small agricultural town where I live. 9. I own a string of wooden beads with a crystal in the middle. 10. I WOULD but a new csravan if I could - my beautiful old 1981 Gypsey Caravelle 4 is taking strain. Great video.
We went without a TV for the summer. My son and I greatly benefited from the removal. Planning to do this again every summer, I would go without year round but my husband is not there yet.
