I wanted to share a quick story with you. Thanks to you and The Minimal Mom, I’ve embraced minimalism, and it’s been so freeing! Last weekend, I told my husband we needed to tidy up the garage, and guess what? We cleaned the entire thing in just 45 minutes!
That’s the beauty of minimalism-on Saturday, I spent less than an hour on this chore and had plenty of time to take my kids to the theater to see Wicked. Minimalism has truly been a blessing for me and my family!

I thank God for that which I do not own. The simple life may not be the popular path by worldly standards, but many wish they had it 😊

Wise 80 year old neighbour you had. I am 57 and live a minimal lifestyle. My mother 81, Aunts in their 80's, cousins 50 to 70's don't get it, they treat me like I'm an alien 😂 When I explain it's a freeing experience and a smoother lifestyle and brings me peace and frees my time they just don't get it. I wouldn't live any other way now ❤

My family members didn't get it either. I lent one of them the book on Swedish death cleaning and thenthey understood my inspiration. 20 years ago, I started having heart issues and I didn't want my family to be stuck with my clutter. The time that I do have here, I want to enjoy it and not be stuck dusting and cleaning a bunch of junk. I bought Josh's book early on in my journey and I keep reading and watching videos to keep me honest.

Your good and wise neighbour is the true founder of this channel. And if we ask her, I'm sure that she learnt it from someone else. So we need to keep speaking to others and continuing the snowball effect. Thanks Joshua for your contribution and for using RUclips in the way it should be used - not as away to make money but as a means to CHANGE THE WORLD.

My Hubby & I have been on the road to minimalism for the past couple of yrs. We drove around tonight to look at Christmas lights & could see in peoples garages & houses & I felt stressed out looking at other peoples big houses & full garages. I'm thankful we are getting rid of unnecessary items & living a much simpler life. Keep up the great videos, Joshua. 😊

I got laid off at june, ever since then. I implemented a detailed budgeting strategy, tracking every expense and setting clear spending limits across all categories. In just six months, I saved over $60,000, giving me a strong sense of financial security and the ability to invest in my future. This approach has transformed the way I manage money, and I now feel more confident than ever about achieving my long-term goals.

What a sick society we live in that from childhood we are taught that our prime purpose in life is to buy stuff, even ahead of spending quality time with friends and family. No wonder our collective mental health is so terrible.

Bless your heart. Sounds like you may not know true Christians. It is not waning at all with people who know their frailty and desire a Savior. It’s not a fad that it could wain. It is a relationship with a real person outside of time and space who created and controls the world.
      Blessings to you, young man.

Please do your research before recommending a charity. You have that responsibility. After all you're making money from this and are trying to change the world. Goodwill is a for profit. Salvation army helps veterans. there are real charities.
