This RSR recreation is a high level build featuring factory RSR wheels, factory sport seats, factory plastic fuel tank, and 300whp 3.6L twin plug engine.
You dont know how much I envy this. I lived in Germany from 1970 through 1978 and I can tell you first hand that the 71 and 72 911's were the very best made through the 70s and even 80s. I worked there in German American relations. 90 percent of all 911s were sold to the USA at that time, most going to San Francisco. I got a 1972 911s Euro model and it ran like a scallded dog. It had a higher red line at 7800, also the oil filler cap was on right rear fender. I fixed it up at R Buchmans Porsche in Frankfurt Germany. Known as BB styling they really did a number on her, looked brand new. I put it on the boat in Bremerhaven and took delivery for it in Bayone New Jersey. No one said a word about it to me being euro model with NO usa specs. I drove it from New Jersey to Eugene Oregon in 2 days, got a nasty ticket in Ohio from a trooper. He took me downtown to pay the ticket because he told me he was sure I wouldnt pay it, and said I could have outrun him as he was about to give up after 5 miles. I did nt know he was back there, so funny as I was just driving like I did in germany. Sold it in 97 for 5 times what I paid for it.
If I could own any 911, it would be this car, or something very similar. Nothing better than a silver 911 in my eyes. Must think of selling my black 66 912 to get one. Nice car guys
This wouldn't happen to be the same one I ran across on Hemmings recently would it? 72' RSR Recreation. Same colour. Same wheels. Same RS America engine. Only difference is that the one online doesn't have the Carrera side stripe.
I can relate. I have a 69 911E converted in a RS lightweight with a 3.6ltr with 46M Webers twin plugged..my engine resembles the infamous 911R 2.0 engine. I'm the only one who has it "period-correct"😉

Classic 911,Silver paint, RSR bodywork and a 993 heart. Perfect 911
Hot Wheels are a gateway drug. No one ever told us that!

Nicely done
I had and still do have the exact matchbox. It was what triggered my love for 911s also. Unfortunately I have yet to own one yet. Yet!
I’m sorry Hot Wheels.
pretty awesome!
That’s the car. Translate to English. Sweet
Ein Traum!
awesome car! Terrible loafers!
👍👍👍 volle cool 👍👍👍
i couldn't pin point exactly where you were, but everything looks so OC
super
need to make it louder so it sounds near to an RSR not like a shopping car
Did you use any kind of a skid plate for the exposed part of the plastic tank?

With those pipes, how do you not keep your foot out of it?
Qu’est-ce que c’est le titre de la musique svp ?
gorgeous! Poor video because the music overplayed the engine sound. Too bad it's bogus.
Stiffy activated....
how $? thanks
1 million
0:43 This shitty air filter takes a lot of performance :-(
Sorry, but that engine just ruined a classic for me.
