Hi again Marilyn! This was an awesome find. I wish I found it about 2 hours ago as it would have helped significantly with my designing efforts making it so much easier! LOL Thank you for sharing. I am sure to use that way instead of 'dot' designing in Design Space. 😀 My next attempt is splitting words in half Like I've seen Patrice do. I wish I could get on more live sessions so I could ask questions but I usually just catch the recorded sessions and I am SOOOOOO appreciative that you lovely ladies share with us newbies as you do.❤❤

Oh I am glad you are going to try a template:) I still have not mailed your shirt, but am off work tomorrow so plan to mail it then. The post office in our crazy little town closes early and is closed for an hour and a half at lunch🤔

No, you can buy the software by itself. I do not have a Silhouette machine and I use my Cricut instead. I bought my Silhouette Software off of SwingDesign and it is the Business Edition. www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=964247&u=2315764&m=69853

Hey Marilyn, Great video, only problem is when I try to ungroup it once in cricut design space, it will not ungroup! What am I doing wrong? In Silhouette Studio, what did you do so the image will come in as ungrouped. I am using rhinestones and vinyl for my design. Please help!
When I am making multi-layered designs (designs using different colors of stones), I make each layer into its own compound path, then I group all of the compound paths. That way, you can ungroup the layers once you take it into Cricut DS. Hopefully I explained that in a way that makes sense.

So are you making the design in Silhouette, but then it gets messed up when you take it into Cricut DS? Are there other issues you are having that I can help with? I would be happy to do a video on how to take a design into Cricut and make sure it is sized correctly.

What kind of hot fix tool do you use for the minor corrections?

Do you have to have the silhouette machine to get and use software?
No, you do not. You can purchase the software and then save the files as SVG files to upload into Cricut. I used the Silhouette Business Edition of the software.

What was the app or software or download called?
Sorry I am just now getting back to you. I was on vacation in remote Colorado camping. I use Silhouette Business Edition 4.4. If you are cutting with Silhouette, you can use a different version, but since I cut on a cricut, I need the Business Edition so that I can save my designs as SVG files.
