Big up DJ Ron thanks for having me , enjoy finding out some more madness about me 😜♥
Was great to have you on board…always thought there was more to you than meets the eye. You were a great guest.
I thought you were so much younger. You know when the Godfathers of the scene have acknowledged you in such respectful way you get our respect too. The torch has been passed on to you. Big up the next generation and those keeping the scene going. A very enlightening interview and it's great to her about your journey. Bless!
@@TakeMeBackPirateRadio haha good genes and night cream 😜 ..thankyou ♥️🙏🏻
@@CharlotteDevaney11 raising my glass to that! May your spirit, body and mind stay that way. I am still watching this interview it's been epic so far! Bless up!
Is it true that flip it was just a sample off snoop which you found or did you actually work together on that song?
She's the OG Narni Shaker!🩷😎
Respect for this DJ Ron! There are so many layers to Charlotte's involvement in the scene. She is a grafter and rightly acknowledged for it. Yet again this has been an interesting story with a whole set of experiences and perspectives that were different to your last guests. It brings to light the different backgrounds of people who have been brought together through the music which is truly inspirational. Credit is due!
@@JL-nk1pc do you have to be a legend to come on here? She's been with Fabio for 20 years so hardly call it 'sucking the right cock' , Vile.
big up thankyou ♥
@@CharlotteDevaney11 Straight back at you! Always a pleasure ♥
Great insight into Charlotte :)
Big up:.
I remember when Narni shakers supported us for Housebreakerz/ basement jaxx gig in Camden palace. Smashed it !! 💯😁🔥👊🏾
Big up brother Ron, great interview with Charlotte Devaney.
waitin on this , rarely get to hear charlz come up , and insight to her story , yes ron 🫡⚡️⚡️
Go Charlotte ❤❤❤❤❤ carry on being authentically you!!!!😎😎😎😎
Another great interview, that was really interesting. Big up Charlotte
So happy you got Charlotte on here, my favorite DJ and a boss on every level!!!!!
What a great woman, and great role model for young girls/women. Not just for those wanting to get into the drum and bass scene but how you can create your own destiny through hard work and imagination. Interesting insights into the darker side of the music industry and how they sometimes treat their artists as products. Sad really. But just goes to show you that it's not always about getting the big record deal etc. Great work again DJ Ron. These are becoming unmissable episodes.
Thankyou 🙏🏻♥️
@@CharlotteDevaney11 you're welcome. Peace and beats 😊❤️
Excellent insight into the music industry & hard work reaps the rewards. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very true 💯
👏 👏 big up dj ron for this one ,love these ,listening to this one early monday moring at work😊😅❤
Thanks and hope its helping you get through the day.☮
Nice one Ron. Many thanks for this. Always good listening to people's stories and how they helped shape the scene. Keep 'em coming!
Thanks bro.
Thanks Clem. Looking forward to sharing more to come.
This girl is 👊🩷👊 love it, when I heard 'I was listening to jumping jack frost on my walkman' I knew 🙌. Super interview Ron, again we are blessed 🙌
Glad you enjoyed it Faye 💯
Great production dude. Great presenting. Love it.
I’d love to see you get Peshay, SL and Doc Scott on.
Great choices.
Good shout mate those names command respect. There are so many people off the top of my head I could say deserve a shout: Sting of Telepathy, Terry Turbo of One Nation, Everton & Kingsley of Roast, Photek who ended making music for Hollywood, Eastman and Suszy G founders of Kool FM, Andy C, DJ Zinc, Rebel MC, Shut Up & Dance, The Ragga Twins, MC Eksman, DJ Rusher founder of Weekend Rush FM, Ras Demo (Demolition Man), MC Navigator, Nookie because of his production, Lady Siras co-owner of Ruud Awakening FM a widow of the deceased DJ Chiilem (RIP), Elisabeth Troy for her singing, UK Apache and Shy FX, General Levy, MC Funsta, DJ Geeneus...the list is endless.
Big Up DJ Ron. Another special listen. Bless up.
Big up Jason and thanks for the support. 💯
Big up Ron and Charlotte cool interview
Heard you in Brum a couple of weeks ago with Kenny. Top job.
Nice one Ron keep these coming ✊🏾✊🏾
Thanks and will do.
Sick Interview and she is proper interesting....big up Char, FYAH 💥
❤❤
Amazing dj and a Amazing woman ❤
Big up dj ron for a really good interview since you interview alot of top djs I think it would be good to interview djs that have been on the scene for years but low profile djs that don't get a chance in the scene it would be good to get there prospective of the scene and how hard it is out there definitely a idea bro Big up to your podcast ron brilliant
Age really don't matter in the culture. It's just what you are doing and doing what you wanna do. People wanna listen or they don't. If you wanna switch on your sampler/deck/computer it's entirely up to yourself. The scene is still faceless and it's great. Jungle is ours.
Word!!!!!
Go deh breda
Interesting interview.
Fair doo’s to her.
She works hard & puts her all in to it.
I get the sense she’s got her guard right up about her past.
Everyone seems to shout for their favourite next interview.
So here’s mine……. Carl Cox!! 🦁🤞🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Another great interview Ron I'm not a big fan but I respect Charlotte's views, remarks and knowledge.
Keep them coming. Terry turbo would be a good interview I've read his book - king of the clubs. Great read.
Big up
Thanks for the suggestion and for the support. 👊🏾
Turbo would be awesome. Or the SV boys.
Not heard any of her sets before and I'm 50 where have I been lol, I will check her sets out defiantly, have you had Dr S Gachet on as a guest
Just a idea Ron I'd like to see someone interview you so we can hear your back story
I was thinking the same
Not a bad idea, just need the right interviewer.
Big up Charlie
matthew b / bushwacka would be interesting, any dj that was there at the start then went down a different path musically.
He's a good friend of mine and would defo get him on. His story if one of amazing transformation.

Please can we have proper legends like Cleveland Watkiss on.He’s arguably the most ‘subtly’ interesting person in the scene.
Or Randall, Bassman, Moose!!! and DJ Storm.
All great recommendations and on our list. Thanks for sharing.
Moose would definitely be a good one, one of my favourites
Gachet would be another good guest. Maybe Bukem or Conrad?
Mcmc would be good
Even get the Midlands guys on like Ratty, Pilgrim, Ned Ryder and Bassman. Jungle was huge that way. Younghead would be good too.
ngl i was quite anti charlotte just thought it was cynical and just jumping in cos inclusivity and all that virtue signalling jazz is more important than music atm but she is who she is and owns it and does have high production values and energy so more power to you.....love to see ratty ,digital , sl, coolhand flex or peshay on here or some label profiles paul ibiza and the reinforced guys would be epic biggups!
Fair play and honest of you to own thinking one thing and reconsidering after watching. Great choices of artist by the way, only one of which is already on the list. Will defo add the others. Big up!
Big up Ron love watching all of these learning about there life’s and careers
One in the jungle ran from 95 - 97. So Charlotte was taping the shows at the age of 7 to 9 when she claims to have been about 15? Jesus guys... what on earth is she on?
I can only imagine that the birth date she said/ meant was an oversight and instead was born another year? Not sure but well done on the calculation though.
hey respect from Poland DJ Ron you doing great interviews, maybe interview with a legendary DJ Ratty?
Big up the Poland Crew. A few people have mentioned and will add him to the list. Could be a good one as I dont know anything about him personally nor much about his career either. Thanks for the heads up.
Ratty doesn't do these podcast / interviews, and he's semi retired now
it's not good, because he is my favourite oldschool jungle / hardcore dj from 90s
Is there audio of these anywhere?
Not yet.
@@LondonSomething1994 Hopely soon, the app shuts off if I try and listen on my phone 😁
I think q project would be a great interview... champion sound
Should have got him on with Charlotte LOL
@dailyspongeASMR yeah I never thought of that!
Love for you to get dillinja on Ron ?
He’s on our list 🙏
dilllllllllllyyyy 😳🫡🫡🫡🫡🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶est to do it ....
Love to hear a all vinyl mix from her..spanners in a cement mixer or not 🤔
doubt any of the new wave can mix vinyl lol
I know times have changed but I cant take the auto sync generation lol. R.I.P pitch slider gone but not forgotten
Not just a female thing. The whole pick track auto sync play gets to me. Like yourself I started with vinyl late 90's. Maybe because the art of mixing has died it just pisses me off. When I see a 60 minute mix and the pitch hasn't been touched once it hurts lol. Took me a good year to get the ear..clanging belt drives out the bedroom window 😁
@@CharlotteDevaney11 whats being a woman got to do with mixing vinyl? for me personally, mixing digital is boring. i had traktor for 4 years out of the last 22 years of being a dj and those 4 years were the most boring i have ever experienced. theres nothing to it, no enjoyment in my personal opinion. im not sure why you pulled the muh woman card
@@CharlotteDevaney11 only women mix digital? maybe women are being too sensitive? do you use sync when you are mixing or do you actually time up the tunes? i found in traktor that you could never get to 0.01% on either deck. it was always slightly out. only way to perfectly lock the tunes was on sync (this is using a controller btw). i only came across you a few times on some videos that were black and white and you had some mcs on i hadnt seen about in ages (shortston being one, absolutely loved that guy but never could really find any sets with him on to download/listen to). i didnt really consider about whether you were a woman or not. i was just listening to tunes. women have been used as a commercial marketing gimmick in recent times. im not saying you are on of them though. i forget the name of the LGBT persona that was being pushed last time i bothered to see what was going on in dnb, but she was purely being pushed for political agenda. her tunes were trash aswell. i find it hard to buy dnb and jungle vinyl releases regularly because no one decent is pressing anything. its sad. so i understand that mixing digital is kind of forced to have good tunes. im now at the stage where i will just get dubs cut of stuff i like so i can mix them because the scene doesnt provide vinyl with one tune per side, and wants everyone playing 33rpms at home lol
I’ve watched Det, Rap, Kenny Ken and Brockie so far, all excellent and engaging interviews .. Wtf is this?? Never heard of her..
😂
Perhaps if you take your head out of the 90's and show some interest in newer people you may find out.
@@matthewsands6062 Alright nose ointment… How do you know what’s in my head? 🙄
@@matthewsands6062 She;s been around for years mate she was in the Narnishakers in the 90s I think!
@@dailyspongeASMR she founded the Narni Shakers in 2001 actually, but that doesn't matter as an artist she's still new skool.
Dynamite would be an interesting guest. I'd love to hear more about him, the Bristol scene and his double life as a sommelier.
Sorry guys but Charlotte was born in 1988... and she went to Pleasuredomes 3rd beithday which was in 95'... at the age of 7? F*** are u talking about?...
Me sense sum bull@hit rave history cv there. 😂
@@maipai4282 mate totally... it's like everyone seems to feel they have to make up some "been there from day dot" shite... f***s sake...
It is all just learnt from an unrest in jungle etc from RUclips etc. how can you go to an event at 8, be into hardcore from the “early” times Ie 91-95, when you were born in 88. Even Ron can tell she is blagging. You cannot kid a kidder and fair play with your observation 😀👊🏻
I also never knew that the underground hardcore/ jungle movement had a lot of sway in Lincoln/ Peterborough. Pleasuredome 3rd b day is hardly vip champagne bash down Stratford Rex 😂
She's a lot older than she claims to be basically lol deffo not 1988 that would make her 3 years younger than me and I know for a fact from years ago that she's at least 10 years older than me
MTF in my opinion.
Who?
Rude
why don't you sit back with a cuppa and find out rather than being so blatantly rude. Charlotte is a bad ass get to know my G.
@@matthewsands6062 sorry uncle Devaney
Charlotte has been smashing it on Pyro ruclips.net/video/RTbZSwn50WM/видео.html
Brave for saying this in a cancel culture but very true. There's some real talent out there that don't get the chance that she has had. Millz on the other hand does have some talent going on
How about Coco Bryce on
DnB has been shit since 96 let’s be honest but at least his music ‘bearable’
