Nice one dude. I had the drift and got the hump and disabled it and switched it to hat 1! I'll change back with dead zones... Mine drifts left and down. I do have a mouse and use it but i think it's not just me that can't look around with mouse right click. Cheers man
You should also lower the sensitivity to flatten that curve out a bit. Your method will result in 5% input being the minimum possible due to the deadzone. If you use a sensitivity of about -.6 you'll come off the deadzone more gradually and still be able to make slow camera moves without jerking from no movement right to 5% movement speed. In fact, tweaking the sensitivity for your rudders will give you much better control at low deflections while still allowing full deflection. Pitch and roll are less critical, but lower sensitivity will still make small control movements more smooth.
In control settings, I only see “VelocityOneFlight” and that’s it. I thought it was supposed to be one for the yoke and one for the throttle. Also, I can’t bind any buttons to be different because as soon as I click it to bind, it immediately goes to Joystick Button 1, as opposed to what buttons I am actually trying to set it to. Please help.
Good tips, I get the same thing with my Thrustmaster throttle and the thumbstick on it. One thing I'm confused about - how come MSFS 2024 displays the button numbers on your controls? It doesnt on mine.
Hello, could you please create a video tutorial on setting up the VelocityOne™ Flightstick for PC? I’ve been unable to set it up, and it doesn’t seem to work for me in 2024. Love your content!😃
@@Huddison yeah I did, and I didn’t work But I figured it out now. I had to search by input and then change it from there. For some reason I didn’t work if I did it directly on the dead zone menu. But thanks anyway 🙏😁🙏😁
Hi James. It was indeed snowing here in Liverpool today. Quick question, do you think it’ll be ok to finally install msfs 24 on x box series x at last? Happy new year btw.
Thanks Hudd my issue sometimes is that it’s not always saving it the next time I start the sim no matter how I save it. I’ve tried default saving, all aircraft saving and both? But inevitably I have to go back and fix it again
Thanks a lot. It works perfect i think you were showing this before. I just have one problem my settings sometimes are not coming as defult as i turn on xbox x. And i have switch back to ma saved setting. Did you see this problem before when your saved settings but they randomly did not come in as default when turning on the game?
My previous video was on a more in-depth analysis on the sensitivity settings. I have noticed that FS2024 can switch your profiles around on a whim - not sure of the cause or proper fix as of yet.
Thanks again Huddison for making another video on this stupid problem Microsoft put in and haven’t fixed of this drifting ! My problem is I go to the sensitivity setting and click on it and try and change it and it won’t do anything ! The Xbox 2024 version is a real mess !
Nice one Huddison, this problem was giving me a headache 👍👍
Great it worked for you.

You can't look around with the mouse if you have the views set to an axis on the V1 Flightstick.
Even though I have changed views to a digital hat switch?@@Huddison

Excellent info many thanks
Very welcome
What is the advantage of making changes in the hardware settings vs the individual control setting under each control.
Thank you very much. That fixed it on Xbox series x
Thanks for feeding back
No problem. I think it’s only polite to let you know when you spend the time doing these videos to help us all. Thank you very much again. Regards Rob

Might be best asking in our discord (link in the description).

Still a few bugs to iron out with FS2024

This worked but only for it drifting to the side, It still drifts downward. Any tips
Have you put deadzone into both the Axis?

Happy New Year; yes give a it a whirl on your Series X.

This seems a bit bugged atm.

Thanks for this. I get view drift also but I'm on msfs 2020 on PC. Might this help?
Yes, just add a bit of dead zone to the hat axis's.
